  • The tire rub on my stock inner fender liners is driving me crazy! So lets fix it with a set of the American Adventure Labs quick release inner fender liners.

You don’t need to remove the rivets to pull the liner out. Just push up on the liner where the rivets are. Easy as that.

Yeah, I figured that out when I did the AAL inner fenders on our 392. Much easier and cleaner. Thanks!

I want to see the install on the driver rear with all the filler vent relocations....

There are no filler vent relocations needed with these.

Great video - thanks for sharing
Did you have any clearance issues at full stuff by not chopping the fenders?
Did you find anything to fill the holes in the stock fender where you drilled the pins?

Good on you, but not for me. Getting rid of full mud coverage and going back in with half mud coverage. Wires exposed and something else to corrode that plastic does not offer. Did you by chance think about moving your entire front axle forward with the adjustable arms 1/4 of an inch?

Would you recommend blue loc-title on the inner fender bolts.

Really don't like the exposed wiring for the front turns. Do they make something to cover the fender flares?

Would have like to see it with the tires installed.

Did you have clearance issues on rear shocks. My adjustment handle is hitting inner fender. Curious if yours was hitting and if you just made a cut out for it

Yes, I did have clearance issues with that. I had to cut out a notch for the rear shock adjuster. I also had to cut some off of the front liners to clear the Teraflex Bumpstop 2.0's that I installed.

What finish did you choose for the fender liners, how are they holding up?

    • @2ndChanceOverland

I chose the textured black finish. They haven't been on long, and only one light offroad trip since installing them, but they are holding up great so far. I also recently purchased AAL's old 2018 Wrangler JL that they had installed them on and they are still in great condition with all the wheeling they did with that vehicle.

Great video, wish you would have gone into a little more detail in removing the front liners

Thanks. Removing the liners was a bit of trial and error. I drilled out the plastic rivets the hold the liner to the outer edge of the fender on this one, but I don't think that is the best way. When I did the same thing on my 392 I actually used a panel tool to pry the liner off the rivets leaving the rivets in place. Cleaner look that way.
