Your video made my replacement of the hot and cold water inlet valves easy and very quick. I especially appreciated your mention of the Phillips screwdriver and the slip-joint pliers. That was all I needed.🙂🙂 Normally, I would have brought half a toolbox. That isn't needed. All you instructions were perfect. Thank you. You helped me a lot.
Is there anything I CAN'T fix??? Thank you for this easy and well presented tutorial! Replacement part cost me about $128.00 after tax. The way I see it, I just saved myself a $300.00 house call!
Thank you for this awesome video! I just completed this task thanks to your "easy" video! You saved us a bunch of $$. We're retired and really appreciate that!!! God Bless You!
Great video! I replaced my with no problem but now my Main wash hose to the inlet and the Pre wash hose leak. Did I not seat the clamps right? Not get the hoses on properly?
I did not mark the hoses before removing for the old valve and I think they are out of order. Which hose (pre-wash, bleach, coldwater) connects to which solenoid? Thank you!
Great video. Would a defective water inlet valve be responsible for water filling the drum when it is empty and not running? I am getting water in the drum when the washer isn't being used.

Can you tell me why the tube from "Y" tube conector to steam port on my LG WM3470HVA front load washer swells and leaks at the connector? It seems like there is a build up of pressure in the tube and it causes a spray at the "Y" connector. There are a series of tubes that make up that singe line with a bunch of connectors with orange and blue colored check valve or screens in the series of tubes. I tried blowing through the tube and only a little air would go through. The tube leads to the front part of the washer drum. Can't find anything about it online. HELP
per the website selling this part: This valve is used for cold water, bleach dispenser and prewash cycles. It has a standard hose fitting inlet with 2 outlets facing 45 degrees to the right and one outlet facing 45 degrees to the left.
Great video. Easy to follow. Easy to repair. $20 part ordered from Amazon. Saved me $150 service call. Thanks a bunch.

You sir are a live and money savior! Your videos always are detailed and straightforward! Thank you 🙏🏼 for making our lives so much more pleasant!
Great step-by-step with the very clever trick with swapping out the hoses. The hardest part will be getting the thing off the pedestal!
You should not need to take the washer off the pedestal to change this cold water 3 way solenoid valve.
Why would you take it off the pedestal?
Thank you for this video. I love it. I have a 2008 LG front loading washer that cold water inlet valve would not just shut off from time to time.
Thank you so much. Your explanation and demonstration is very very easy to follow. I appreciate you I will now try it
One $17 part on Amazon, this YoutTube video and Bam!! She's as good as new!! Thanks!!
Great video!

Is there any reason why one or in your case 2 parts are marked with blue dot?
You said nothing about how the plugs go back in. As these can be put on backwards I need to know how they go back on

I’m curious why this is only done for the cold water valve and not the hot?
He is replacing the bad cold valves(stuck closed or leaky open valves)....if the hot side is bad, then replace it too!

I have this same washer and I''m trying to wash dark clothes in cold wash but the water is hot, not cold. Please help
You must have the hoses reversed. Switch them on the washer.
Is this compatible on all LG washers? My model number is WM2010C
