Tried to find your gold dangle hoops, but the link took me to regular hoops. Do you know where to find the ones you suggested and wore with the flannel ball cap? Thank you! New follower here!😃
Retro cat eye sunnies you are wearing are different than the ones you linked. Where did you get the ones with the go,d on the earpiece where they meet the front frame?
I just got a haul if beautiful vintage clothes from my late great grandmother's house, and in that haul were a few fabulous trenchcoats! I decided to wear one to walk my dog as it was about to rain, and this truck pulled up beside me and asked if I was out solving mysteries!
You came up in my feed and I can't overstate how helpful these tips are. I lost my son, my only child and it's hard to care what i look like but these are simple, easy, tweaks that I can manage to do. My son always liked my sense of style and I know he'd love to see me start to pick that back up. Thank you so much for being right on time! ❤
Angieeee! I basically never comment but have been watching for yearssssss. You are my saving grace girl! I literally have been trying to find ways to upgrade my wardrobe/style without breaking the bank. I recently lost 25lbs and kinda having to begin again lol. Thank you for this, it’s super helpful!! Plz do continue with this series.
Great video. I've recently retired and wear more basics. Thanks for showing how to be more stylish in them. Even just running errands we want to look good. I love that we don;t have to buy anything. ♥
I love monochromatic dressing. The trick (especially with certain colors like green or brown) is finding the right shade that will match. I like it for simplicity but also because I'm just under 5'4" & it gives me a longer, unbroken vertical line. Bonus if my shoes are the same color/tone. Always get compliments when I wear these outfits even tho they are often just inexpensive joggers, tees/tanks & hoodies/cardigans I got from Amazon. Easiest way to look pulled together while wearing very casual athleisure wear. I don't find jeans comfortable all the time & as I get older I want my clothes/shoes to feel like pajamas/slippers but look presentable when leaving the house 😅
Angela your video just came up in my feed. Thanks for your great tips. You also bring back a great memory, I used to work for Braniff Airlines many years ago in Dallas.🥰
New subscriber here! What a great video and thank you for giving styling advice for things you may already have in your closet and not just trying to sell a bunch of things we may not even need! I am thrilled to have found this channel!!!
Love this rich hair color you’re wearing! It’s great with your skin & features. I love red lipstick too! My favorite is Rimmel Provocalips 16 Hr. Kissable Liquid Lipstick. I spend a few minutes applying it, but it stays on all day. At night I have to blast it off with q-tips and baby oil. Well-priced around $10.
I was always taught to go with drama eyes or drama lips - but never both. I go for simple eyes, strong brows and RED lipstick. I'm told it's very elegant.
Had to chuckle at your mentioning the Target work uniform. Similarly, I worked as waitstaff in my early twenties and I'll never wear black trousers with a plain white button down shirt again!😄
You are the first shorter redhead (like me) with fresh ideas that are affordable and stylish. If it looks good on us it would most probably look good on anyone. LOVE the lipstick color, I'm definitely going to try that. Thanks.
I love this particular Video... I'm older, and I have been " Layering " my clothing for y e a r s .... it adds a nice look ,whether it is a Button Down shirt / blouse over a nice Cami or a tank top... and yea..the Mito Jacket over any type of shirt/ blouse/ top .. looks great... ( especially over a little longer Length Sweater or Tunic...one of my favourites !) Nicely done Video ,Miss Angeka ...and love the red lipstick you paired with the blue shirt ... it looks smashing. ...the right shade ,for sure. ! There is one caveat to wearing red lipstick. If it's too orange, it will yellow your teeth. It will make your teeth not look as white as they really are.... I had a friend many many years ago who was a Makeup Artist and she told me that little tip...which I don't look good in that color anyway... I look good in a mid- tone , not too bright red lipstick. ..lol)
Great ideas for younger, tallish gals. Short people like me need medium rise pants & and t-shirts, maybe not so long. Always have to shop on site & try on. Love the monocromatic looks. ❤
you're so cute! this reminds me of some videos about packing light for a trip, where you bring basic clothing but add scarves and jewelry to adjust your outfit so you don't look boring.
Baseball caps can border a more juvenile look. I personally prefer a simple black or white Adidas type visor. Doesn’t trash your hair and a bit more elegant, especially in a pofile view. My fave combo is a visor with white, cream or neutral outfits.
The baseball cap tip is priceless - for fashion. I have always worn them tight to stay on for sports. What a difference in looks! My lips have thinned as I've aged and now shy away from red lipstick but would love to know what shade you're wearing in this video.
I'm a pretty no-makeup gal, but a red/blackcurrant tinted balm or a true-red lipstick is an essential for me. I can have nothing else on my face, but a quick swipe of clear brow gel, curl of the lashes and a swipe of my cherry Nivea balm and I'm good to go.
Love your Greek cross, Angela. You are so right, monotone is the way. I'm a big blonde girl and navy or black monotone lets me splash with a bag, add bracelets or a big ring. And lipstick!! I've been wearing Ruby Woo from MAC and Prosperous Red by L'Oreal. Actually, any red from L'Oreal's Reds collection works.
First time watching and have subscribed! Fantastic tips! Thank you for simplifying some things! I absolutely love the shade of lipstick you are wearing in this video! Wish that I would have seen this video before we went on our trip to Europe a couple of weeks ago……
Hi. This was a great video and offered tons of useful tips. I recently lost weight and am revamping my look after ditching my two fat-hiding shirts = gone. My favorite fun looks are leggings, puffy boots, and a layered top combination with a jean jacket. Looks relaxed and fun. I also love things that are cropped. If you are shorter, this makes you look less frumpy, not cropped with your stomach showing, just shorter jackets and tees. It takes ten pounds off a casual outfit silhouette. I agree about the red lipstick. I always thought it was too much but I started using a brown type as the base and putting some shades of red on top until it looked right. Blotting between each different color helps a lot too. I use the all-day type (Superstay by Maybelline). Lastly, I purged everything in my closet that I was not going to wear and bought some new fun items. It helps to get rid of some things so you will not be tempted to wear them again. Amazon has great affordable clothes that often dup the more expensive brands. A few new pieces give me a lift. I use the reward dollars I get from a credit card (that I had to use anyway), and the outlay is minimal.
Ms. Braniff tell me something. I really like that button down shirt. You are wearing in this video. Do you have any other videos. Showing how to wear this button down shirt. To make up different outfits?
I resisted it until recently. Now I’ve found that softly tucking in over one hip and allowing it to fall diagonally helps camouflage my short waist. It also looks a bit more modern without trying too hard to be trendy. At 70, that’s a full-time job!
I know that is not for everyone, but for me the thing that elevates any outfit is heels. They don't have to be very high, to fully change the vibes and the posture of the preson wearing. My favourite mix is t-shirt with leggins and heels 👌🏻
I hate the partial tuck, it looks sloppy to me. Like oh I forgot the rest of it. Like you used the restroom and you forgot to tuck in the back of your shirt.
I'm happy to have you here :) I'd recommend going into a sephora and having them test the different undertones so you can see what they look like and which you prefer. From there, you can choose the formula for lipstick that you like (matte, glossy, stain etc) ❤️
How about a newsboy cap? There's room to put your hair inside as an alternative to the baseball and ponytail look. Berets can also work. A lot depends on how you wear them. A friend used to pull all her hair back into the beret and wear it more on the back of her head and looked great, whereas I prefer it to the side. Just play around with a few styles and see what suits you.
I like your tips. Your adorable. I am older 56. I am addicted to shackets. I have menopause gifts. The lower belly and arm fat. I also get flowing cover up from Amazon for 15 dollars. I got a ton of jewelry from mom and from her mom.
The cat eye sunglasses you linked appear to be different from the ones you are wearing in the video. Yours are more of a blackout lens with gold detail at the sides. Can you link the exact ones you are wearing?
What layering piece/tops do you wear with wide leg pants? I usually wear a T-shirt, but it’s getting colder so I need something over it. What should I wear? For example I have the Athleta celestial high rise utility pant. They’re super comfy, but when I wear it with a hoodie I feel like I’m dressing like my middle school daughter and a little too frumpy😊 Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi, in accessories, I don't see any links for the silver necklaces worn by model. Great tips, by the way! I can't wear red lipstick, and can't find a shade that looks good on me. I've always had thin lips, but now that I'm older they are really thin. But I love the idea of dressing up basics, more for how I feel about myself than how others see me. I don't go out often, so basics are my "uniform". I've forgotten how to shop for more dressy clothes. I always wore a uniform in school, so I never really developed my sense of style.
Just discovered your video… So helpful! I am 73 years old, so trying to look “not frumpy“! I don’t see a link for the puffy purse.. could you post or send that? Thanks so much!😊

Love your video. However, I couldn’t see the link to your opening elastic waisted “flowy chiffon pants”. I’m looking for a great pair for traveling. Would these work? (ie: they don’t crease).
These are the pants: Navy Flowy Chiffon Pants (medium)$26.00 amzlink.to/az0BeyI8vauZN as for wrinkling, after sitting on a plane they'd likely have creases- but the material is so light that I *think* after walking a bit the creases would fall out. hope that helps!

Some women pull it off rather well, but I definitely don’t 😅. It looks halfhearted.
If you have the right shirt you can tuck it in evenly all the way around and pull it out. It makes the shirt less boxy.
I thought I was the only one!

Basics can look very masculine on some women. A soft touch or two can prevent that, e.g. pretty earrings and bracelets.
Same with short hair. It can look very masculine, but earrings and a little lip color changes the whole vibe.
I just found your channel. I am excited to watch.
I’m glad I found your channel! Do you have any suggestions for how-to pick out a red lip color? Thank you.
