I found meal planning to be overwhelming. Some weeks I had tons of ideas and others I had none. But my life CHANGED when I learned to theme days. So each day of the week has a theme. Ex- mondays we do crock pot, tuesday is mexican, wednesday is carbs (pizza, pasta, rice, breakfast), thursday is pork or chicken, friday is burger/grill night, saturday we eat out and sunday is our long prep time meal or snack plates. That allows for easy spots to plug in our favorite meals, and on weeks where I miss planning, I already have a narrow category to help me figure something out. SO amazing!
That was the same case for me. However, Pinterest really helped me get it together. I only meal prep 2x a week. We made a huge ham last Sunday that I coupled with sweet potatoes on day 1, then we diced up small ham cubes & my daughter made eggs with ham the next morning. Day 2, we had ham with cauliflower rice, day 3, I used the rest of the cauliflower rice & made a Chinese friend rice with cauliflower & peasant & carrots & coconut amino liquid (it is a healthier approach instead of soy sauce). I promise it gets easier. Usually, anything that is left over on day 3 is used for tacos.
Point of View: I was a nanny to an Instagram Influencer for a few years (who was a kind, good mother and person). Anyway, I would sometimes be around when she would take pictures for social media. The process would include hiding all the messes and getting them out of view, lol. The end result would be a perfect looking home in a photo. I think she would say this as well, but for every 'perfect home' on Instagram - there is a mess hidden just out of view! (Generally). Sending Love.
I am an atheist but I still loved the prayer at the end... I rewinded and watched it few more times, and I am planning to print it out and frame it and put it up in my kitchen! Thank you Angela!

My tip may only apply to smaller families (we're just 4) - I don't enjoy cooking and couldn't get meal planning/prepping to work for me, so now I let the supermarket decide 😜 My toddler and I go shopping every few days and go for the discount aisle of food that needs to be eaten the next day or two and use that as the inspiration for the next couple of meals. God bless you and your family ♡ Thanks for this video of encouragement. I'm 60 raising my Daughter's daughter. My husband and I have had her since she was one month old. Some days I say how can I do this? But every day I continue to get up and I keep going. You're so right about how we're all different and how we run our households according to our needs and personalities and likes. I've raised two boys and a Daughter. Sadly we lost her to a car accident in 2020. Working through my grief and still be able to function every day I feel like a warrior some days. We are Christians so we believe in God and his Son. So Faith exists in our home ♡ we also believe in The Return of Christ when we'll see our Daughter again. I love your videos and I think you're a wonderful example to all of us of how to be a great Homemaker.
You are not alone. I have a friend in her 70s doing what you are doing and struggling with being mom AND TEACHER when she wants to be grandma. It may not be ideal but apparently God thinks you can do this. Remember it's OK to ask for help.
Needed to hear this today, just had my 6th baby 3 weeks ago, and my priorities right now are so different than everyone around me, feeding a baby is my main priority and that's ok!
The prayer in the end made me cry! Thank you Angela as always for making a genuine and warm video to encourage all of us moms with full hearts and full baskets of laundry. ♥ each of us is unique, each of us has a different calling and each of us is seen by our Great Father. God bless you!:-)
I’ve struggled my whole life with a schedule. My oldest is 11 and my youngest is five, and I’ve FINALLY got all my kids on a semi schedule. It’s amazing how much easier life is. It sounds stupid, but I feel so proud of myself 😂 My parenting goal this year is to get my kids involved in chores more. I’ve been the maid and not the mom for too long lol
Not stupid. After all, part of your job as Mom is to teach your kids how to do all this stuff for themselves. Doing it all yourself really shortchanges your kids.
As a momma of 5 beautiful and precious children, also turning 40 (in about 2 months), I am sometimes so tired by the end of the day I can barely wash my face at night. I am so grateful for this video but even more for that prayer at the end! I am literally crying and thanking our Father for all those little finger smudges and dirty dishes (which I am washing watching this video). There are moments every day that I feel drained and sick of the monotony of all the tasks before me. But I truly praise God for my heavenly ordained path of being a homemaker and momma! Thank you for the advice and encouragement! 💕
Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I’m coming from the other side of the road, looking back after homeschooling for 30 years, raising ten children. Everything you shared rings true from my experience! I would add a couple of things:1.procrastination is not your friend. 2. Never walk out of any room without making some small improvement, even if you are picking up a scrap of paper. 3. Leave room for God. I am “allergic,” to Algebra and Geometry… and most math , other than common sense arithmetic/accounting. Half of my adult children have ended up in STEM fields. Only God knows how that happened:) 4. Know that the keeping of your home is well worth it! God Bless You❤
Encouragement that was much needed, been feeling like such a loser! Im 5 months pregnant, have zero motivation/energy, simultaneously trying to care for my 2 year old. Lord help us 🥰
Oh goodness. When you're pregnant you need to bend the rules and the expectations. Also for about 6 months postpartum when you are recovering and have an infant. Be easy on yourself during those times
I’m a year into my homemaker life after being a working woman for all of my adult life and your videos have been 1. Inspiring, 2. So so so helpful, 3. Encouraging. I felt like such a fish out of water. The last home maker in my family was my great grandmother and she passed when my grand mother was 16, so none of us really know how to make a home. We know how to work our tails off and bring home the bacon but struggled so much with making a home after the 9-5 hustle. So your videos have been amazing! Thank you! ❤
Hi Angie! I'm a Navajo SAHM of 5 and I just have to say how much I absolutely love your channel!!! I love your prayer at the end. I love that my Littles and I can watch your channel together ❤️ (most vlogs). Thank you!!
Haha! Totally right about "a homemaker is not a maid". The homemaker is the MANAGER- not the janitor! Excellent tip I have received and read- "never do anything for your kids that they could do themselves". Why? Because those who do not work, should not eat (except with truly extenuating circumstances like a disability). Cleaning up after yourself is just a normal part of being a decent human being and everyone should learn that before they turn 6. In my house, toys that don't get picked up, go in the bag for Goodwill and my kids know it (and no they are not perfect and I am merciful, but they are 2 and 4 and know now that picking up the toys, is NOT Momma's job.)
Great point about NOT comparing yourself to others. I am 61 and a homemaker for decades. People do not tell you about their entire lives, especially about the support they have. Some people have no support (such as free babysitting, and other family help, enough money, etc and others have a lot of support and assume that others do). One thing I learned late in life is that you have to respect yourself enough to say "no." Homemakers are frequently targeted to do all the volunteer work at church, school and community and because homemaking is often a lonely job, you frequently find yourself over volunteering and shortchanging yourself and your family. You made a lot of other great points too.
Angie you’re the only person who I would watch a video like this from! Lol because you have such a nuanced view of everything and understand that everyone is different, you give great advice on principles of how to manage life rather than being dogmatic about methods! Edit: also that prayer at the end was perfect. Thank you so much Angie. I really needed this today.
Thank you for this, I’m a new homemaker stay at home mother of 3. I had to quit my job after the 3rd baby was born to stay at home, it’s been hard, overwhelming, and I’m still trying to figure it out. This was very helpful and insightful.
I don’t have any kids but what you said about not sweating the small stuff is really what I needed to hear!! I get so stressed out and in my head and just feel overwhelmed but in the long run it’s really not a big deal. I needed this today. Thank you ❤️
This video was...a sigh of relief for me. Especially the meal planning bit where you said, "No one is going to die from eating the same meal on repeat." lol. Thank you for this xx
As a woman who loves to cook and struggles with A.D.D I really needed to hear the "simplify your meal plan" one 😅 my kitchen is definitely the hardest part of my home to keep clean, definitely working on more meal plans and less complicated meals.
Love this! I'm easily sucked into the "wow she has everything so together" mindset and working on overcoming that. Routines have helped me feel a bit more together, and easy habits that prepare me for the week. With a 19 month old and 23 weeks pregnant and being in school full-time, habits are a lifesaver.
Being a women and a working Mom and/or Homeschooling Mom is tuff. I was not raised by my mother. I was raised by my Dad. I love watching your videos because they really help me. I'm serious. I wanted to cry because I feel like I was falling short and not being the best Mom I knew I could/should be. It's hard when you don't know any better. Every night felt like anxiety. Buying fast food made me feel so guilty. Know, I have done what you said and found so much peace. Thank you so much for sharing your life's knowledge and sharing it with ppl like me who really need it and benefit from it.
Your tip about having the right amount of stuff is spot on! Dana K White talks about your "clutter threshold" everyone's is different and her container concept idea has changed my life and taken the stress out of decluttering! Would recommend her videos to anyone struggling with this step!
This was so good, Angela! So encouraging! I laughed and I cried. I have 4 little kids and my husband is gone A LOT and we are homeschooling (oldest is in first grade). Plus we have a little farmette. Lately I’ve felt super overwhelmed and alone. Thanks for reminding us that we are not alone and not to compare but to do what works for us in our season. And to be thankful!! Blessings!
@Angela Braniff, just a nice note from a viewer: according to the post date, I think the woman of chanell "This Golden Hour" is copying your work! I really don't like plagiarism... Thank you for your content, it's very useful.
This is literally me 😭 I am in the bath right now thinking “why can’t I be better?” I have a big following on TikTok but I’ve basically stopped watching/posting to social media because I feel so overwhelmed just seeing everyone doing so well and I’m a MESS. The first clip of this video really hit me in the chest. Thank you for the honesty. ❤️
This might sound so silly but I literally just prayed “Lord can you just help me. Can’t you just help me be more organized and a better homemaker??” And I feel like this is my answer. I’m crying. It’s not the answer I was wanting. But I need to be more thankful for where I am. For what we have. I have so much I need to be grateful for. 😭❤️
I’m not a mom or homemaker, but I’m really struggling with comparing where I am in life vs others. I’m about to be 25 and I deal with chronic headaches. I don’t know if kids is in God’s plan for me, but I’ve always wanted them. Even though I’m not there in my life yet, I know I needed to hear this because I don’t need to compare my journey to others like I have been. I couldn’t help, but get teary eyed when you read the prayer. God bless y’all! I really enjoy all your content!
Go on with your bad self!! 😂 you are a breath of fresh air…love your channel! You are my Shero, I only have 2 little ppl and I suck at homemaking and still learning this homeschool thing going into our 4th yr., but this helps a lot! Thanks for sharing!! I know it will take practice and I’ll get it together eventually and LET IT GO! 😂 ❤
I learned homeschool is always growing & changing with your kids needs, sadly despite our needs or even abilities... BUT eventually & hopefully they will get into self-lead learning with full motivation & passion !
Thank you for your prayer. It was so beautiful, and exactly what I needed to hear. I had such a problem with meal planning, omg it was horrible. Until I started doing it a little differently. I have what i call "the basic meal formula" on our fridge. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we have a "basic meal" Tuesday is "something with potatoes" Thursday is "Dinner at grams's house", Saturday is "one pot meal", and Sunday is "use up what needs using." My husband didn't like that we had the same dozen or so dinners and insisted that two or three days a week we try something new. After a couple weeks of that I told him if he wanted something new he got to cook it. After about a month of that he got fed up with throwing away more food than we were eating because the kids didn't like it more often than not AND he would buy a whole bunch of specialty ingredients that we didn't use regularly, so they would all get thrown out. So i tried just planning dinner, but always having to figure out means and recipes and dealing with what people can't eat (my children are special needs with multiple, and different, dietary restrictions) behave such a headache that inevitably, by Wednesday, i was just cutting up a bunch of fruits and veggies and tossing them on a platter on the table, which my husband hates. Then I came up with our "basic meal formula" 1 serving staple - rice, oats, quinoa, potato, sweet potato etc... 1 serving protein - fish, beans, tofu, peas, eggs etc... 1 serving soup - a broth with some veggies floating in it for color, usually spinach or broccoli (two family favorites) 2-4 small sides - steamed veggies, cut fruit, pickles, etc.... So that each family member takes a little of each one. It sounds like this would be a lot more work, but it really isn't. The two to four sides is what makes it seem like it would be so much work. But it could be steamed broccoli, baby carrots, grapes, and black olives. The only thing in there that requires any prep work is the broccoli. I've been using this method for almost a month now, and it works out so well that we've decided to use a "basic meal" for breakfast. Occasionally on Tuesdays or Saturdays we ignore the "program" and try something new. My husband used to joke around, saying things like "that's a sacrifice I'm willing for you to make" when he wanted to add something to my workload. All the joking stopped when he got to be mr. Mom for 3 months after I had two surgeries and a baby on the same day. I vividly recall him walking into my bedroom three weeks after that all started, and ranting at me in a whisper about how much he hated my job, that my job sucked, and that it's absolutely impossible to relax because it's never ending. And he didn't even have to deal with the baby, hence the whisperer, because she was asleep right next to me. He only had to deal with our two older children, who were 8 and 11. Ever since then, he hasn't kept trying to add more things to my plate, and he's stopped getting upset with me if the laundry isn't put away, or the house is a mess at the end of a busy day. And he had stopped asking me about yard work completely.
This was exactly what I needed to hear today. It’s been a crazy month and our home is reflecting that craziness. But at this point my priority is getting everyone healthy again (we’ve all had the flu and then ear infections and sinus infections) and the dishes in the sink, dust in the corners, and hampers of clean clothes waiting to be folded will wait for me.
Thank you for not telling us to be a minimalist! I feel like that is usually the advice to get rid of every thing and I appreciate someone that understands there is joy to having certain things around.
Oh, that last part made me 😢. So beautiful! I have a thankful journal that I’ve neglected. I think I’ll dust it off. It always puts things in perspective. Thank you Lord!
First - thank you for such informative videos - But most of all thank you for showing us your BEAUTIFUL FAMILY - I love the clip at the end of your kids running around and the love that is displayed at your home. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day. Gigi
You look like and speak like a disney princess and have such a calming presence! Definitely the "mom advice" I needed. Thx for calming me down lol this stuff is harder than it is talked about some days lol
This is so reassuring. My two girls are sick yet again this year and I'm feeling worn out from the stress of it. I hate feeling like I'm not able to be productive and stick to our normal routine.
Thank you SO MUCH! I needed it so much. I'm a sahm with our three little girls, 6 y, 4 y and 4 months. This was so encouraging. I also loved that prayer and i'm gonna translate it to my language (swedish) and put it up in my house. Bless you and your family❣️
Needed this video today. Currently getting myself out of the ditch and back on the straight and narrow. Thanks so much for sharing. ❤️❤️❤️ One thing I've done is delete all my social media accounts. I struggle with perfectionism and low self-esteem and it just made me feel horrible about myself and my home. It also distracted me from my kids. Since I've gotten rid of the social media, I've had more time to reflect on myself and my home and family and make it OURS, not some second hand version of someone else's.
Love your videos! And that prayer at the end brought tears to my eyes. Moving to stay at home 3 yrs ago is still a hard transition😊Always something to be grateful for! Thank you Lord!
Am back at my work parth time as a nurse and i find it hard to feel half a mom and half a nurse and half a wife. no body other then me makes me feel like this. i put it on my own... tx for this video and putting things in perspective. you are a grounded, positive, pro active person. :)
I really enjoyed this video and appreciated the encouragement and tips. We have 4 kids. 2 are on the spectrum and one is very dependent on routine. His need for that helped me create a general meal plan routine. I've tweaked it and encouraged a little variety within the same category and this is how we basically do it. Saturday - pizza night; frozen or takeout or homemade occasionally Sundays - usually something generally typical Sunday dinner type, like ham, roast, or chicken and dumplings Mondays - usually crockpot or something fast because Mondays are busy work days for me (I work from home) Tuesdays - tacos, quesadillas, taco soup, fajitas, or something similar Wednesdays - randoms, often breakfast for dinner Thursdays - spaghetti Thursday; some type of pasta Fridays - takeout; I work full time from home while raising 4 kids so I need a weekly break from making dinner lol
I love this video! Finding your priorities is especially important. I have to prioritize creative time for myself to feel productive. For meal plans, something I’ve done in recent years is accepting having “cheaper/better than fast food” recipes at home. Healthier than fast food, cheaper than fast food, but definitely not 5 star meals. Meals I can cook in 10 minutes. It prevents us from going through the drive thru!! We used to get fast food like 2-3 times a week 🙈 now we never do! I make quick things like scrambled eggs & bacon, waffles, fried rice, chicken & rice, Caesar salad, etc. Anything to save us $30 on fast food!
Oh My Lord! These tips made my evening ❤️! I Can now go to sleep with pease on my mind 🙏🏻! I deal with stress and anciety issue and am currently on a sick leave from my job. So glad I came across your blog tonight and can go to sleep with pease tonight from listenning to your tips ✨💤🌸
Thank you so much. You encouraged me. I wasnt allowed to do ANYTHING at home , and my mother also said I would never be able to be a good homemaker. its been a hard struggle to learn some things my friends do naturally. I am blessed with a wonderful and understanding husband who cooks well at that so I am so lucky. I want to encourage mothers to please please give children age appropriate cleaning and cooking tasks. It would have helped me so much and saved me so much pain :) But I am happy where I am now, just easily discouraged with housework. Working on it. Thanks for the inspiration.
The video was amazing, the poem at the end was truly touching. We get lost in the craziness of being everything that we dont focus on the little things that hold us up. This is my new favorite channel, have a wonderful day parents.
Thoughtful encouragement for real women. Fun meal planning idea: designate each person a day/date to choose dinner. Perhaps the 10th of every month is Rosie's night to decide the dinner menu. Maybe one child chooses their two favorite foods: dry cereal and pepperoni. Yum! (If so inclined, add side dishes such as fresh veggies from your garden.) The montage at the end with the prayer of thanksgiving is joyful and beautiful. Also, how is everyone's favorite goat?
I’m so glad you are here, Angela! I admire your attitude and I think your advice is very calming and builds us up to believe in ourselves. Thanks much for the reminder that we are individuals and don’t need to “keep up with the Jones’” Such wise suggestions!
I really really needed to hear this...eventhough my family is 5 members...I sometimes don't feel like doing routines or meal plans...it never came easily to me....but your words help me understand...start small...then carry forward...lots of love
I sat down and made a meal plan for an entire month. Now I just cycle through the same plan every new month. If we need to skip a night, no big deal! BUT I love knowing I had a plan for that day, even though I didn’t end up needing to cook that night.
Love love love it!! There is a lot of pressure on us homemaker moms and all these tips r a great reminder!! I always find myself comparing and Ik it doesn’t help!! Right now I’m dealing with some health issues and I have no energy whatsoever and laundry is backing up and dishes….just everything!! Thankful for my husband who helps me when he can but doing some easy things like meal planning and having a routine will definitely help!! Thanks for all the work u put into ur videos!! 💛 God Bless
That was the sweetest prayer- brought tears to my eyes! The fact that we have so much to take care of says how blessed we are! Thank you for helping me see my work and job as a homemaker/homeschooling mom in the right perspective! I know these things, but some days everything seems so much, so thank you for the reminder of how blessed I really am! 🤗
I feel you on the minimalism. I felt "tugged" towards it because of how often I saw content about it,but I've found a happy medium and enjoy having more!!
I love the homemakers prayer at the end. I need to make a sound of you reading that to listen to each morning and reset my tired brain. Thankful for you and my healthy family
Love it U r a mom not a maid... PREACH!! Being a fsirly recent SAHM I've found that I have had to "learn" to not feel guilty that everything isn't complete and up to date and done. I love the point that when.in corporate, though you have a job and responsibilty there would have been times that I asked for help
That prayer at the end was soon beautiful! I will remember it/ possibly. Write my own. Gratitude is a big one I've been working on, sometimes I'm better at it than others. This is a wonderful way back to gratitude. Thank you for this video. It's so warm and genuine. New subscriber here! ✋🏾
Great video! I definitely needed the reminder and encouragement to not compare my home to others. I'm blessed with a handful of children under the age 7. So my house gets messy quick! This is also not my dream house. So when watching videos of others in my dream house I can feel discouraged. Thank u for keeping it real;
@Angela.Braniff That's a most BeAuTiFuL homemaker's prayer. God bless you and yours Angela. You have come alongside so many woman with this video and you inspired, taught, encouraged, mentored them - as you've done for me - as a godly woman does. So proud of you. God bless you and yours from South Africa.
I love that creating a flow or rhythm instead of routine... That word... Or the word schedule I just can't do! I try so hard... Maybe I need to change it to flow. Thank you!
Thank you so much! I'm saving this video so I can come back and rewatch when I get too fixated on the little things... the prayer was beautiful and so healing.
I like the prayer at the end! I like when you share about your faith, it is what makes you who you are and guides your life as a mother and wife. God's Word is the best guide for homemakers! He teaches us all we need to know about being godly homemakers. Thank you for the encouragement.
I am not religious but that prayer brought me to tears as is my sentiment. Maybe I thank life and the universe for putting a roof over my head and nice clothes to wear. Thank you for this video.
just found your channel and honestly subbed immediately! the life you’re currently living (kids, homeschooling, homestead, animals etc) is basically my goal life. thank you so much for this video ❤❤ i look forward to watching more
Just happened across this video today. Thank you!! Your demeanor was so welcomed. Love how it made me feel encouraged and not defeated or beat down!! God bless you

That was the same case for me. However, Pinterest really helped me get it together. I only meal prep 2x a week. Awesome!
That is a great idea! I just have three weeks of meals I just cycle through haha
Vegetables + grains and legumes, (smoked) Tofu, tomato paste, allows different variations of meals.

Loved your comment, thank you. Popped up wee prayers for you also xox
God bless you ❤ I pray he helps you in the wonderful thing you are doing for your daughter and grandchild xxx
And a great priority ❤️
Blessings to you and your family. That sounds like a perfectly appropriate priority for this season of your life.
Congratulations! Same here. New baby #7 , 3 wks ago. Its a season of life!
Congratulations!
Aaaawwzz!
The prayer in the end made me cry! Thank you Angela as always for making a genuine and warm video to encourage all of us moms with full hearts and full baskets of laundry. ♥ each of us is unique, each of us has a different calling and each of us is seen by our Great Father. God bless you!:-)
Amen!
I cried too!
made me cry too . I needed to hear that 🙏
I cried too
I’ve struggled my whole life with a schedule. My oldest is 11 and my youngest is five, and I’ve FINALLY got all my kids on a semi schedule. It’s amazing how much easier life is. It sounds stupid, but I feel so proud of myself 😂

Doesn’t sound stupid at all. Congratulations! You’re doing great.
Not stupid at all. Still fighting that myself
Thank you!!
I have 3 under 3 and sometimes I wanna cry from all the work but it is a blessing to be home with my lovely babies
So hornee for that makeup
Thank you for this, I’m a new homemaker stay at home mother of 3. I had to quit my job after the 3rd baby was born to stay at home, it’s been hard, overwhelming, and I’m still trying to figure it out. This was very helpful and insightful.
Me too! Glad I’m not the only one. Been home with the 3 for a month now, and getting better everyday :)
I don’t have any kids but what you said about not sweating the small stuff is really what I needed to hear!! I get so stressed out and in my head and just feel overwhelmed but in the long run it’s really not a big deal. I needed this today. Thank you ❤️
She takes her hubby’s pee on long trips
This video was...a sigh of relief for me. Especially the meal planning bit where you said, "No one is going to die from eating the same meal on repeat." lol. Thank you for this xx
As a woman who loves to cook and struggles with A.D.D I really needed to hear the "simplify your meal plan" one 😅 my kitchen is definitely the hardest part of my home to keep clean, definitely working on more meal plans and less complicated meals.
THANK YOU FOR THAT HOMEMAKERS PRAYER...IN THE OVERWHLEM OF IT'S CONTENTS I FORGET TO SIMPY BE GRATEFUL!
Please do an overview of your favorite homemaking books ... please. Thank you 🤗💕💖 and tools if possible too...
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we have a "basic meal" Tuesday is "something with potatoes" Thursday is "Dinner at grams's house", Saturday is "one pot meal", and Sunday is "use up what needs using."
My husband didn't like that we had the same dozen or so dinners and insisted that two or three days a week we try something new.
Then I came up with our "basic meal formula"
1 serving staple - rice, oats, quinoa, potato, sweet potato etc...
1 serving protein - fish, beans, tofu, peas, eggs etc...
1 serving soup - a broth with some veggies floating in it for color, usually spinach or broccoli (two family favorites)
2-4 small sides - steamed veggies, cut fruit, pickles, etc....
Wow that prayer at the end really moved me 😭 I've been feeling like a crappy mom lately and I really needed that today
First - thank you for such informative videos - But most of all thank you for showing us your BEAUTIFUL FAMILY - I love the clip at the end of your kids running around and the love that is displayed at your home. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day. Gigi
The prayer was the most beautiful! I am so discpuraged to see everything messed up but a prayer helps to see a brighter side of it.
So true! Your day is your day and what you need to do is specific to you and trying to copy someone else’s day just adds to your pile and stress.
Nearly cried with that prayer, thank you ❤. We are truly very blessed
Thank you SO MUCH! I needed it so much. I'm a sahm with our three little girls, 6 y, 4 y and 4 months. This was so encouraging. I also loved that prayer and i'm gonna translate it to my language (swedish) and put it up in my house. Bless you and your family❣️
The prayer at the end was everything I needed. 🥺
Wow,What a beautiful prayer! These young homemakers need this desperately we all need it
You literally made me cry. Thank you. I have been so overwhelmed lately.
Needed this video today. Currently getting myself out of the ditch and back on the straight and narrow. Thanks so much for sharing. ❤️❤️❤️
One thing I've done is delete all my social media accounts. I struggle with perfectionism and low self-esteem and it just made me feel horrible about myself and my home. It also distracted me from my kids. Since I've gotten rid of the social media, I've had more time to reflect on myself and my home and family and make it OURS, not some second hand version of someone else's.
I just had a horrible mom day - thank you- this is exactly what I needed!🥰
Love your videos! And that prayer at the end brought tears to my eyes. Moving to stay at home 3 yrs ago is still a hard transition😊Always something to be grateful for! Thank you Lord!
Aw man the prayer at the end 😭😭😭😭😭 way to sum up a much needed reminder. Appreciate your words of perspective and encouragement ❤️
Am back at my work parth time as a nurse and i find it hard to feel half a mom and half a nurse and half a wife. no body other then me makes me feel like this. i put it on my own... tx for this video and putting things in perspective. you are a grounded, positive, pro active person. :)
The beautiful prayer in the end made me cry. Feeling so grateful♡
I appreciate your modesty. Very humble and thank you for letting me feel like we’re not alone♥️
Thanks for this video - the prayer at the end made me teary. You have a beautiful family.
I really enjoyed this video and appreciated the encouragement and tips. We have 4 kids. 2 are on the spectrum and one is very dependent on routine. His need for that helped me create a general meal plan routine. I've tweaked it and encouraged a little variety within the same category and this is how we basically do it.
Saturday - pizza night; frozen or takeout or homemade occasionally
Sundays - usually something generally typical Sunday dinner type, like ham, roast, or chicken and dumplings
Mondays - usually crockpot or something fast because Mondays are busy work days for me (I work from home)
Tuesdays - tacos, quesadillas, taco soup, fajitas, or something similar
Wednesdays - randoms, often breakfast for dinner
Thursdays - spaghetti Thursday; some type of pasta
Fridays - takeout; I work full time from home while raising 4 kids so I need a weekly break from making dinner lol
5. Is so true! We have a chore rotation chart, it works great. Plus kids need to learn life skills.
Love this so much! Sounds great!
My kind of meals TBH!
Mmmm waffles who could say no to that? I know I'd take the meals you listed over fast food any time. Yum!
Good on you :)
This is the best video on homemaking I’ve ever watched. Those simple steps are attainable and realistic. Thank you!!!
Angela, you look like you're in your twenties, not almost forty...... Goodness, what an amazing testimony of an excellent homemaker. Praise God.
The video was amazing, the poem at the end was truly touching. We get lost in the craziness of being everything that we dont focus on the little things that hold us up. This is my new favorite channel, have a wonderful day parents.
The prayer overlayed with the video of your family 😭😭😭😭❤️ So beautiful. Thank you for your encouraging words!
The lord blesses us with a message and this was my one big blessing this morning. Thank you Angela! 🤍🤍🤍
Uncle Tyrone sword fights all his cousins with his pee wee
Thoughtful encouragement for real women. Fun meal planning idea: designate each person a day/date to choose dinner. Perhaps the 10th of every month is Rosie's night to decide the dinner menu. Maybe one child chooses their two favorite foods: dry cereal and pepperoni. Yum! (If so inclined, add side dishes such as fresh veggies from your garden.) The montage at the end with the prayer of thanksgiving is joyful and beautiful. Also, how is everyone's favorite goat?
The prayer at the end was really beautiful. Thanks for sharing it 💕
That prayer at the end brought tears to my eyes. 🥺 so beautiful
My soul needed that prayer at the end 🥺 instantly started sobbing! Such a good reminder, its only a season... thank you for this video, so helpful!🙏
💛 God Bless
Maybe she should get a job if it’s so hard
That was the sweetest prayer- brought tears to my eyes! The fact that we have so much to take care of says how blessed we are! Thank you for helping me see my work and job as a homemaker/homeschooling mom in the right perspective! I know these things, but some days everything seems so much, so thank you for the reminder of how blessed I really am! 🤗
Wow thank you for that prayer it’s the most real and relatable prayer I’ve heard in a long time. Had me tearing up within seconds. ❤
This is the first time I’ve ever commented on a video. This video touched my heart and I am ever so thankful God placed it in front of me. Thank you!
I have been struggling with feeling good enough and then this video came across my home page. Thank you for the encouragement and kind words!
I feel you on the minimalism. I felt "tugged" towards it because of how often I saw content about it,but I've found a happy medium and enjoy having more!!
I needed this so badly & teared up when you read the prayer at the end. TY!!!
Your channel has certainly been a blessing to me. In the past six months period thank you
This was the most refreshing video of my week, my month, my year. Balm to my soul. So reassuring and helping. Thank you
I love the homemakers prayer at the end. I need to make a sound of you reading that to listen to each morning and reset my tired brain. Thankful for you and my healthy family
My favorite yt video rn! Needed so much today!
The poem at the end was a tear jerker! Thank you for the reminder of how blessed we truly are!
Oh, Angela, that prayer had me in tears. I'm going to post it in my house. ❤️
Great video! I definitely needed the reminder and encouragement to not compare my home to others. I'm blessed with a handful of children under the age 7. So my house gets messy quick! This is also not my dream house. So when watching videos of others in my dream house I can feel discouraged. Thank u for keeping it real;
Well geez, way to make us cry at the end. 😭😆 That little verse was great and a wonderful reminder. Thanks for the lovely video.
Your makeup is so georgous, you are like a breath of fresh air. That lip stick, gloss is amazing
I love that creating a flow or rhythm instead of routine... That word... Or the word schedule I just can't do! I try so hard... Maybe I need to change it to flow. Thank you!
I love this helpful show thank you for sharing your kind thoughts with us busy mothers ❤
I needed this in so many ways. Your prayer brought me to tears, Thank you for that as well.
You are such a beautiful soul, may the grace and blessings of our Lord be always with you and your families.
just found your channel and honestly subbed immediately! the life you’re currently living (kids, homeschooling, homestead, animals etc) is basically my goal life. thank you so much for this video ❤❤ i look forward to watching more
Just happened across this video today. Thank you!! Your demeanor was so welcomed. Love how it made me feel encouraged and not defeated or beat down!! God bless you
