Francesco Molino - Variation 14 - Classical Guitar

- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 5 ต.ค. 2024
- This pleasant and playful variation on a theme by Molino is the fourteenth in a series of 36 from his book “Nouvelle Méthode pour la Guitare.” It reminds me of the Andante in Haydn’s “Surprise Symphony.”

Such a soothing music and nice background scenery ..👌
Thanks, Dad! I appreciate it!
So relaxing ☺️
Thanks, guys! I agree, this is one of the more calm variations and is written slower.
Such a beautiful piece Very nice tones Really excellent playing Josh Wonderful scenery too Great sharing🎸
Thanks, John! I appreciate it!
Very expressive, Josh!
Thanks, Cynthia! Yes, this variation has a more pleasant progression than a few others in the opus.
Nice playing Josh as always. I don't comment much because I watch most of your videos on a smart TV. All the best!
Thanks! No worries, happy to have you drop in whenever.
a beautiful tune, very nice and good played. I also liked the harbor scenes very much!
Thanks, Wolf! I filmed those two years ago at Boothbay Harbor. I have some various clips I filmed for a rainy day, and they're coming in handy for these shorter videos that need a longer length. Figured it's more interesting than simply replaying the piece. We all know the human nature of people to simply stop the video at that point; this way, it (hopefully) keeps people engaged longer.
Sounded good 🎶🎶
Thanks, Florentin! Glad you enjoyed!
Nice to see you Josh--a very pleasant experience🙂
Thanks, Drew! Great to see you here again too!
Another very well produced video. Congratulations, Josh!
Muito obrigado, Rudolfo!
Nicely done, Josh.
Thanks, Jason! Glad to see you in the comments again, you're one of my longest standing supporters.
Nice playing man, sounds really good and relaxing.
Thanks, Justin! Yes, this one is a more even tempo piece than some of the other variations. I skipped over a few others that weren't as listenable, but I'll get through them all sometime.
Well done Josh! Perfect playing! 👍👏👏
Merci, Andre! Since all these variations have the same chord progression, it makes them a lot easier to learn. I only had too practice this for about 1 hour before I had it memorized and ready to record. Normally I wouldn't do that, but I wanted to get something posted this week.
@@Josh.Vanjani 👍👏
Just thought I'd stop in and say hello Josh. I see you're still at it ! Still sounding great on the classical. That room sounds perfect for recording acoustics. I like using a high ceiling room with minimal furniture myself but only when I'm at my girlfriend's house. Keep up the great work brother!
Thanks, Josh! Glad you stopped by, seems this video got a lot of old time supporters out of the woodwork. This was recorded in my garage, believe it or not. I'm going to paint the wall and put some lighting down there soon so I can do solo pieces in a more controlled environment.
Tis a lovely recording and the video just right sir Josh well done
Thanks, Todd! I went for a cooler aesthetic in this one, since it felt a bit more mellow than the other variations.
Such a pretty piece Josh! And lovely to see the video footage as well!
Thanks, Mel! Glad to hear you enjoyed the scenery!
Very pleasant piece of music! Beautiful harbor.
I have been thinking of you today, after I heard about what happened in Maine. I hope that your friends and family are safe!
Thanks, Mette! The attack took place in Lewiston, which was one hour away from my house; however, he actually worked in Saco, which is where I lived. Didn't recognize him, thankfully. I had no idea the news went international; thanks for thinking of me 🙏
@@Josh.Vanjani That is so scary. I can imagine that when something like that happens, it must feels like it gets too close!
Lovely Josh :D
Thanks, Matteo! Glad you enjoyed!
👏Really beautiful interpretation and performance! 😎
I'm also enjoying the harbor footage which I assume is 4K 24 fps? Really sharp on my new 4K screen anyways. 👍
Thanks, Tomas! I appreciate it! Yes, so originally I filmed the harbor footage in 30fps, but I converted it to 24fps to match the guitar recording. I filmed in S-LOG3, which is meant to imitate film looks best in 24fps. Consequently, some of the harbor footage isn't as smooth as originally intended, but no one has noticed (or said, ha ha) so far.
Guitar maestro
Thanks! I appreciate it!
Very calming and well played, Josh!
Thanks, Emily! I appreciate it!
@@Josh.Vanjani anytime!!
Sweeet! I need to play my classical guitar again:).
Thanks, Heino! Sounds like a plan, I'd be interested to hear something.
Muito boa essa obra, parabéns pela interpretação.
Muito obrigado, Gil!
This variations are from his guitar school, right?
Yes, that's correct! I have the sheet music linked in the description, it's in the public domain in IMSLP. I don't bother to put the opus title in the video title anymore, because it makes it too long.
@@Josh.Vanjani thank you!
