Welcome once again, gentlemen of quality, welcome to pretty much the biggest unboxing I have ever captured on camera. Settle down, enjoy a beverage and let’s acquire Gear together!!
Huge NuX fan. My go-to delay and reverb has been my NuX Atlantic. I’ve rocked their morning star and horseman for years. Great company, fantastic products and excellent customer service
Love that pedal too. Often I have the preamp on zero and that's enough gain for me 😂. Also works straight into an IR pedal and doesn't sound half bad! Would be interesting to put it into the return of a valve amp.
Nice box O' goodies you got there! A few years ago, I was in a local shop where I see a used pink delay pedal for about $60, made by a company called Nux.... Never heard of them. A quick search on Reverb tells me it's a quality piece, and it's a copy of an old Ibanez delay, which is well liked. And the store priced the pedal fairly. Been using it ever since! Today, I was in a pawn shop, and I grabbed a Squier strat for $100. Black & rosewood, plenty of stickers on it. LoL pretty good shape, I think it's one of the better models. And some of the pickups have been changed, I'll be taking off the pickguard to see what's in there after dinner. 😎👍
Gotta say, I picked up a little Nux AC-25 acoustic amp on a whim because it was cheap, just for a little extra volume in some school performances. But its guitar and mic input has got me through some small acoustic gigs too, for something stupid like £180. This company makes some good stuff.
Oh man! Very cool, Nux make really fantastic products, and even though people assume there a company for beginners, but I have several Nux products and I swear by them.👍🙏🤘🎸 The loop core is so much fun for at home practice.
Nice that the transmitter for the wireless mic kit had a "reassuring click" but not checking it out a bit more closely and saying how solid or not it seemed I think was a bit of an oversight even though this was a quick unboxing and not a full review.
I have the nux amp academy, the nux flow, the nux mighty air, the nux plexi crunch, the nux horseman. All of them so great. I used to have the nux reossue series chorus and analog delay too.
I have a fair number of Nu-x products, and can only speak good of them. I am very interested in the new Mighty 60 MK2, as one can switch off the preamp and effects section and use it as an FRFR amp with a modeller.
Yeah I saw that afterwards but it’s not really on the front of the packaging is it - I mean it’s a whole microphone. You’d think they’d make a big deal of it.
If I could have seen it before, I wouldn't have called that black holland bulldog we had Zeus, I can't go back at Bullrot wearing now. Benzes are now cheaper than BMWs? I don't know. Namastè.
Pulling all of your Nux from your box eh?...I've just pulled a box out of the loft last week. It has a load of bits from old guitars in it. I found a pair of Alumitone pups from a project guitar that the customer simply walked away from (leaving me with a few bits in place of a deposit). I have just bunged them in my baritone. Wow. what a glassy clean tone on the neck and the bridge makes the low strings sound like a Jazz bass.
Greetings Chappers! Congrats on the Nu-X sponsorship my dude! I've been digging their stuff for some time now. I previously had the Nu-X Lacerate Fet Boost, which I highly recommend. Apparently it seems to be out of production? Anyway, if you see one second hand? Grab it. I genuinely regret letting mine go. Currently I've been using their Plexi Crunch as a preamp direct to my interface with some post mod/time FX and an IR loader. Calling it "Plexi" is a bit misleading IMO as it somewhat seems more within JCM 800 territory to my ears. Fantastic pedal though to be sure. I have admittedly given their digital Amp Academy dohickey more than a couple of looks whilst G.A.S. browsing. I mean, a subjectively more affordable Atomic Amplifire Firebox MkI?! What's not to love? Am I right?! Ha! Although, I've been more into blending analog OD/Distortion/Fuzz in parallel recently, and the RTL of digital stomps tend not to vibe that way in terms of phasing so... \_(ツ)_/ Egads! This comment got looooong real quick! Tis a thing I do when nerding out about gear. Aaaaaanyway Hope you and the family are happy and doing marvelously well. Cheers mate! ✌🤟🖖
That’s where you’d be wrong, actually a lot of the gear I use is fairly affordable - I don’t really worry much about how much stuff costs all I care about is whether it’s practical and actually works well
The NUX wireless mic kit that comes with a mic inside you tell your audience that you do not understand why they did not include a picture of the microphone that’s included with it. Are you kidding, the mic is on vertical side panel to the right. You ever even looked. Is this how you evaluate NUX free equipment? I’m sure they were not happy about your incorrect information.
I hope you pay taxes on the things you get for free in a time when people cant afford to feed their families! why dont you sell it all and donate it to charity.

I just woke up and saw a bald guy in a crazy shirt shredding and was like, "Damn!! Henning is shredding like I've never heard him shred before!"
"Please don't tell Pete." Oh, Pete, surely knows.
I don't know what it is about you, but you're very entertaining. Even the stupid "Greetings" always makes me laugh!
Nice stuff, seen enough fuzz, and overdrive comparisons, like innovative products like these
Love the NUX Plexi Crunch, She is an untamed beast at a wildly inexpensive price, happy days!!!

You rock Rob! It's my favorite part of the day see your videos, greetings from Ecuador dear amigo
The NU-X Horsemen is my always on sweetener . Such a great pedal.
I'm gonna level a guess and say ,.....Rob's wife probably gets furious because he refuses to argue in disagreements. 😂😂😂😂
My rule of thumb for capos is as follows: if you put the capo on your finger and it hurts, it’s too tight for your guitar.
All my NUX pedals are great! Highly recommend.
NUX is such a brilliant company. The voodoo vibe is one of my favorite vibes EVER, even when compared to 'real' and more expensive analog counterparts

Just remember not to wear that shirt until well after the 9pm watershed... counts as violence
Enjoying the B8 wireless by these guys
We need a "Chappers learns to loop" video next!

Love nux products ,I own a cerberus,a solid studio,2 horseman and a konsequent delay! All well made and amazing sounding pro gear.
Really cool,tastefull playing RC
They make great stuff for sure.
Rob, what was going on with your shiny trousers? Is it spandex season already?

4:17 hey, Rob. You might want to look at the side of the box. It has some interesting info on it.
Yeah I saw that afterwards but it’s not really on the front of the packaging is it - I mean it’s a whole microphone. You’d think they’d make a big deal of it.
@@RobChappers you and I both know they usually don’t make sense 🤣
christmas came earlier :)

lol the wireless mic had a picture on the side of the microphone , you looked at it while trying to see if it did rob

lol - you know that they do this magnetic holder/charger boxes thing with wireless earbuds since like forever ? ;-)
I’d be so happy if companies just started sending me credit cards 💳
Nice haul. My other guitar company? Did I miss something? :)
Second that!! I don’t know either
Cerberus
@@RobChappers Ah cool, thanks man.
Plexi crunch is very good. I have one.

Rob, do you go wireless for your guitar 🎸 when performing?

Budget gear! Doubtful Rob would ever consider using this stuff?
That’s where you’d be wrong, actually a lot of the gear I use is fairly affordable - I don’t really worry much about how much stuff costs all I care about is whether it’s practical and actually works well
Does that giant floor processor not have a built in looper????
Wait, it's pronounced NU-X?! I thought it was NUX.... My whole guitar life has been a lie.
Bought the NuX Loop Core a while back. Never worked properly and now doesn't work at all.
NGD for me a Jem jr
