Space Wolf scouts are weird, they're not initiates at all, but rather the loner types after they've been Marines for a while. They're just Wolf Scouts.
Which is weird considering they have three different types of Claws for just Neophytes but scouts are "Wolf Scouts". I was expecting Sky Wolfs Eyes, Wolf Bond Trackers, Red Hot Trail Hounds or something else but its just more wolves.
Big respect for the boys actually playing in the theme of their respective Chapters. Very thematic and narrative-driven indeed. Some small lore dump regarding their unique stuff: *Space Wolves:* Captain/Force Commander - Wolf Lord Librarian - Rune Priest Apothecary/Chaplain - Wolf Priest Techmarine - Iron Priest Terminators - Wolf Guard Sternguard Vetst - Grey Hunters Vanguard Vets - Storm Claws Devastators - Long Claws Tactical Marines - Blood Claws Scouts - Wolf Scouts *Dark Angels* Captain/Force Commander - Company Master Terminators - Deathwing Terminators Assault Terminators - Deathwing Knights
On a once rebellious fortress planet, two legendary chapters are finishing the mop up operations. A Dark Angel steps on a crumbling rockcrete and falls down a ravine. Space Wolf, witnessing the graceless Dark Angel, jibes : "Cousin, you seem to have F A L L E N" Confessor in the ravine took exception to that remark.
Space Wolves were meant to publicly punish those who had been naughty in the Emperor's eyes. The Dark Angels were meant to do the same but with much more severe consequences and in secret.
12:10 I like to think that the AM sergeant struk the grenade with his sword and it blew into his face so he died. The waves of Cyclone launches at the end were beautiful. gg indeed.
Space Wolf and Dark Angels, hold once a year or so a sparring match between their chapters, it is long tradition ever since Lion knockout Russ during great crusade, this game maybe symbolize that
Awesome scrap y'all. Indrid the space wolf scouts are the oldest of the long fangs, lone wolf one man squads I'm the lore. Comments for the Comment Throne!!!
Nice and thematic to see so many plasma guns for the DA. I'm surprised neither Techmarine went for one, though. Figure it'd be as spicy as the FC's power sword, especially with overcharge+mark target.
Chapter Master Azrael our Fallen trail led us to some strained Space Wolfs force. They appear to be hailing from the ...XIII th Great Company? Two most memetastic chapters. Funnily SW went more melee and DA went plasma. Jokes aside what a total termie fest. Stern / Van / Plasma + all you can summon termie buffet, what a complex builds oh wow. FYI SW neophytes are called blood claws.
I didn't realise the Tenso is playing Dark Angels but didn't put on Dark Angels skin well until he called in some Terminators. He just create a green army and put a Dark Angels sticker on it lol Those green Terminators look almost more Salamander than Angels
most marine subfactions have a generic scheme built into the game, while the dlc and custom elite skins are separate (dark angels is a dlc) looking to add a non-dlc linked dark angels scheme with some other models, maybe in the patch after this next one which is coming soon
@@dow2_elite_mod_cloud Honestly I think the DLC Angels are already good. If you want to make a new skin maybe just go for something different, Heresy era maybe? I always want to go black Lunar Wolf with red accent to create the Fallen aesthetic Angels army
The legion of the damned were retconned to no longer be the previous fire hawks chapter but are instead astarte deamons summoned by the God Emperor. I think you were maybe thinking of referencing the death wing, the elite of the dark angels which hunt the forsaken. Still, what a fun game, even with overtly being there because everyone was SM. Of course there's a reason The lions are the first legion and they're win proved it.
Do you have a source for that? I don't remember anything 100% Confirming either theory it was just still up to debate and never really confirmed as how 40K Books tend to do and contradict One Source says they could be Fire Hawks One says they can be Daemons made from the Emperor and Belief Other says they are dead Loyalists who souls were brought back as Legion of the Damned
@@FoxHoundX there is no 100% in 40k but over the years the general acceptance moved from being fire hawks to warp entities. Best video on the subject is by Leutin09 "legion of the damned -death incarnate." I personally think they should be a form of purgatory or repentance for those who failed in life or even were traitor... led by the Gorgon aka the burning spirit of ferus manus who replaced his head with a bronze bull head in the warp... making him a burning bull. But that's just me going the next step. The spirit of Sanguine should have a shiny warp legion who are not damned and hasn't been seen by mortal eyes because they figh T completely in the warp.
@@FoxHoundX I think my reply disappeared or something. Nothing is 100% in 40k but it is generally understood that the best theory is the warp entity theory and most folks subscribe to that. Fire hawks lore was over a decade ago but most modern books have the legion acting more like warp entities. There is a good video by Leutin09 "Legion of the damned- death incarnate" for a more independent discussion.
@@josephjohnson5415 I do like a lot the Fire Hawks theory, they fit perfectly with the gene seed issue and lore compatibility. But still a question that i do to my self all the times, why they should remain loyalist if they been doomed by the inquisition!? I know that the specific damned legion should be the one lost in the warp during the hunting of the Eldar, but seems something that would turn a chapter into a traitor one. Unless they are trying to redeem their self and prove they are loyal to the emperor even in death and purgation and this is fukin dope to me. So that's why i do like a lot the Fire Haws theory.
Cmon give me a Imperium of man against the xenos . Greyknights ,space marine , Astra militarum vs xenos make it happen T.T and love the thematic matches we get , 2vs2 would be also nice to see tbh .
It's the Dark Angels who can't take a joke
public slap on the wrist vs private execution.
Finally a a game where it is known that sm loses from the very beginning

That was a 30 minute long brawl, absolutely wonderful to witness.
Someone is being naughty but I don’t know which 😂
Toothbrush Marines really lost their mind.
Just as Tzeentch has planned.

' it was cool you could load your things into drop pods in DoW3, i wonder if they could do that for DoW 2. (it was in DoW 1)
I need to see Serral or Classic play DoW2 one of these centuries.

Dark Angels being Legion of the Damed doesn't seem right.
Not sure if retconned?
space wolves were meant to destroy other legions... but have an immense aversion to wearing helmets....
Chat is this canon?
Space wolves have no apothecarys they have wolfpiests witch are a apothecary and a chaplain combined.
nutty
that's quick 48 seconds lol
