@@hamsteroncoffee12 Hey there, Yes Ops are a very big part of the story all things considered. I would argue that some of SWTORs best story is the entire Oricon arch that really starts when the I believe Sith Inquisitor releases the Dread Lords from prison on Belsavis, continues through Oricon, and then resolves in DF and DP. As for story order of Ops there should be some neat infographics floating around check /r/swtor/wiki/story it should have what you want here.

For all new players who are playing with a friend: There are only two starting planets for both factions: Typhon and Ord Mantel for Republic and Korriban and Hutta for Imperial classes. As Swtorista says, there are two classes starting on each of those planets. So if you want to play the story with a friend from the beginning on, make sure to pock two classes with the same starting planet. After the first one, all following planets have the same order so e.g. if you are playing as a Jedi Guardian and a friend playing as a Trooper, you will join forces after leaving your starting planet :)
I wish all the flashpoints had solo options. I like to take my time and get all the story goodness! Same reason I've never really done operations. That and my internet speed can't be trusted.
Yeah i haven't done an operation either mainly cause they seem like too much trouble than there worth for me mainly cause at least with flashpoints they are pretty straight forward and pretty easy to get through if you have a decent group but ops are a different thing entirely...... they should make a thing where we could solo operations and make it like the story mode flashpoints so they are easy to go through.
I feel you, i once got kicked out of a group mission, for not "pulling my weigth and just standing there", when in reality i was waiting for my game to load, feels bad.

Your videos are super informative. If Bioware never sponsored you to put this out, they should. Top notch content. Seems like content that would need a few people working behind the scenes.
Same. I just started this game for the first time and this game has way too much content. Not just fully voiced and cutscened quests but there are just way too many things to do.
The Swtor community needs this video like someone taking a test, needs to have that sheet of paper with all of the answers sitting right next to them, so that when they can't figure it out, they just look at the sheet for all of the answers.
Yours is the best guide I could fine. It should be noted, in the game, that boosted Characters cannot seem to complete the Story for their Class. I needed a Guide to tell me what I was missing for one of my Characters. I am working to complete the Legacy for all 8 Classes and I got stuck with one of my Boosted Characters so I had to start over at L1 with a New Character for this purpose. Thanks for being there with your Guides.
I'm relatively new to SWTOR and prefer playing solo in most games as I can go at my own pace, but upon seeing everything for this game I was overwhelmed with questions and queries about almost everything, although thanks to you most (if not all) my questions were answered from this video, especially whether the expansions/flashpoints can be done solo or not. Thanks again for taking the time; which I assume was long, to do this!
Your knowledge of this game is outstanding. Must have spent many hours playing and researching. Got the game when it first came out, back then you had to grind so much to move forward on each planet. Couldn't play for a while coz of work commitments and came back 1 year ago and deleted those characters and started again. Exp comes so easy now, I have a OSD problem, so I need to complete as many quests as possible on each planet. This play through I've only gotten as far as Hoth and I'm already 70+, originally many quests could only be done as a group of two or more. Going to try really hard on the last few planets to not be a completest. Torn between the old and new, originally the game tried to teach you to play as a group from early on, some quests required 2 or more characters to complete, now you can do most with just your companion. Miss the social aspect of the gameplay now, originally in quest requiring a group each section it was made clear to each person what they needed to do and who to target, if you made a mistake people spent time to try to educate you, to help improve your next run through. Now if you make a mistake in a group it's BAM, your booted from that group, no advice or tips on how to do better. I think Directive 7 may come after Corellia, as in an option picked when talking you remind the moff that you are a dark council member as a Sith Inquisitor, which you are not at this point before Corellia.
i dropped a tear, recalling my first playthrough, i was so excited back then, so many possibilities and stories. shame that new content takes so long to release.
I just happened to resub to SWTOR probably a day or two before this video came out. So glad i found it because I want as "pure" an experience as possible when it comes to story experience!
Welcome to the game! If you want to go 'pure' I suggest following just the purple quests from Your starter planet to Ilum, they are the most story-focused :) or go nuts and do them all!
I've come back before so i already know a bit of the feel of exp gain. So on my new smuggler, i did every quest on Ord, Every quest on Coruscant, Every heroic and almost all of the planet story on Taris, every heroic on Nar shada, and by then i was like 40 on tatooine, so i only did class story until 50 XD I've done the planet stories before, so i was fine with skipping them. Now im working on my sentinel that was 52 and am doing all the post leveling stories because I want to take down Valkorian as the Knight for that poetic justice
I started playing SWTOR about a week ago and have been *loving* the Imperial Agent story. In addition to your other guide videos being super helpful for getting started on the game, I keep coming back to this video almost every day as a reference because it's been confusing to have all the Flashpoints and expansion material unlock based on my *level* rather than on my progression in the main story. Your content is so informative and helpful.
I've had "life events" that kept me from being around for a large portion of these initial releases so I'm so glad someone did a chronological order vid. Thank you!!!
Great video guide! Thanks! Usually I never look for guides but I found myself a little lost as to what I should do next after Voss at level 62 Republic. Now I'm back on track. You have beautiful voice!
You lost me at lvl 1 😅... Just started my first character and been playing for 1 day, when I looked up for tutorials. I found your channel. I have to admit out of all the vids I've seen on any platform. Your voice is one of the most calming and soothing voices I've every heard. I just can't stop listening to your vids now😂. Even tho I loose you and replay the vid about 60 times just to comprehend what was mentioned 😅. Amazing channel and I will watch every vid step by step to find the right play through. - shout out from South Africa
Thank you. I have only been playing for a few days, but this over leveling and down sync stuff was confusing the crap out of me. I much more prefer the story, exploring, and just enjoying the game, over skip everything get to end game.. This guide is now saved in my favorites, LoL. So thank you the help and explaining so much.
Wow, I was so overwhelmed by the amount of content in this game that as a new player I almost quit after day 1, but thanks to your video guide I can play stressfree and I'm having the time of my life! Thanks so much
Thank you so much for this (and for everything you do, anyway)! I have been a player since release essentially with only very few very short breaks, so I have a decent idea how the order goes, but even for me, it was good to clarify how some things are: chiefly for the reason that I am a slow player and only recently got through to KOTET (I have too many characters and I prefer to play slowly to enjoy everything to the fullest). So thanks!
I have played with others before, as a Sith, which is not naturally me. Now, after playing KOTOR 1 & 2 for the first time, my craving for more TOR is at its peak. Can't wait to follow my own Jedi story.
Swtorista for WoW the best one is a youtuber named nobbel87. I liked yours better though, hehe. Can't wait to explore SWTOR for myself. I'm level 12 now and I'm loving it woohoo!
Thanks for the list of the order of content as it was released and meant to be played, been playing since the game initially came out but even I can't keep it all straight anymore lol
When I returned, I wondered where the Padawan in love quest on Tython has gone. It was such a unique and memorable quest. I was very disappointed having it unavailable. Only after a couple Jedi chars later, I've been told it's been disabled by default and marked as "exploration mission". Still don't know why they've included that option and disabled it by default. Just because it doesn't give a gear item as quest reward.
swtor is one of the best mmos when it comes to voiced npcs when I played wow I skipped reading quest dialog because it wasn't voiced and it's too much to read for a single npc that gives yet another fetch quest
This vid deserves so much more credit tbh, I mean it‘s super good in terms of swtor range but man the time invested to produce this video must had been outrageously long! Nice job!
Another excellent video, Swtorista! Probably worth adding: if you start KotFE before finishing Shadows of Revan, you CANNOT go back to finish SoR, unfortunately. So choose wisely! :)
Good tips!! In the written guide theses a nice list of what you can and can't do after KOTFE: www.reddit.com/r/swtor/wiki/story#wiki_quests_not_available_after_starting_kotfe
Great video. They don't make this so clear in game. I'm pretty sure I messed up the correct order when i played. But not too badly. I'm so glad I started playing pretty early on. It's been quite a ride. Possibly my favorite starwars game considering how large it is, and how much lore there is, new and old. The old republic is my kind of star wars
Oh my God, I've been having this shower argument with myself for SOOOO LONG. "Alright, this time I'm gonna make a character and play through the ENTIRE STORY in EXACT ORDER" *just makes another throwaway PvP alt* Thank you so much for putting this together, might actually re-sub to do a huge story playthrough.
Thank you so much for the video. Every time I finish Ilum, I end up finding all these bonus quests and planetary side stuff without knowing which order to do, haha. I want to play a linear story, which I don't go back and forth on, so thank you! :)
Great video. You do a great job of the walk through. Made me realize that I missed some stuff along the way. I also love your voice. :D Very cute... like one of my daughter's telling me about a game she played, or a book she read. Thank you very much.
Love the videos. Just a quick note the republics flash points at lvl 29 happen before the siths story wise as the person you free in the prison is the enemy you fight as a sith
I just found this video after I finished my Sith Warrior campaign. Damn, just my luck, I missed so much. Luckily I can just start over though. Great video.
Hey @swtorista, would you consider creating an up-to-date datacron guide for each planet? I am struggling to follow the existing ones due to outdated datacron names, and many are just poor quality. If you do choose to do this, I would recommend presenting an overview at the beginning of the video with color-coded markings on the map--that would help tremendously. Alternatively, if anyone reading this knows of an existing up-to-date guide for datacron hunting, please let me know! Thanks.
Hey there! Apart from the names, a majority of the guides seem up to date (I still use the old swtor-spy one and just match the colors with my legacy list) If you like videos Kid Lee has a lot: th-cam.com/video/tDMLcETTuj8/w-d-xo.html and so does Vulkk
Thanx for this extremely helpful.. I returned to game recently and was feeling bit overwhelm by the contents.. and ya lvl 70 sage and still in chapter 1 lol

Wish I watched this before, looks like I need to go back and do some stuff I've missed. Thanks for the vid!
I have played with others before, as a Sith, which is not naturally me. Now, after playing KOTOR 1 & 2 for the first time, my craving for more TOR is at its peak. Can't wait to follow my own Jedi story.
Your voice is incredibly addictive
God Sworista, you're a true blessing for this community. Thank you so much for your hard work. :)
I wish there was a video like this for WoW. Thank you for this video. It's exactly what I was looking for.
Cheers! Good luck out there! If you ever find an equivalent for WoW I'd love to see it!
Swtorista for WoW the best one is a youtuber named nobbel87. I liked yours better though, hehe. Can't wait to explore SWTOR for myself. I'm level 12 now and I'm loving it woohoo!
Thanks for the recommendation!
Thanks for the list of the order of content as it was released and meant to be played, been playing since the game initially came out but even I can't keep it all straight anymore lol
cheers! There's a little more after this video, when you catch up just check the description for a link continuing it
When I returned, I wondered where the Padawan in love quest on Tython has gone.
Yeah pretty much all returning players ask where all the quests went and why they deleted them, they really should have made it turned on by default.
Wait, did they away the lightsaber crystal you get if you choose the darkside option?
@@karlrovey You still get a crystal for darkside choice.
Just came back after roughly 5 years. This definitely helps, thanks!
Cause all the quest it’s has the most recorded voice lines in history of any game.
And take into account that all of them are VERY WELL translated in french and german.
swtor is one of the best mmos when it comes to voiced npcs when I played wow I skipped reading quest dialog because it wasn't voiced and it's too much to read for a single npc that gives yet another fetch quest
ESO would beg to differ...
there has to be like 100+ hours of dialouge
@@codypannell9463actually I think swtor still beats it when you consider the translations as well
Damn this girl just keeps cranking out the quality content! Thanks for keeping this channel going all these years.
I'm so glad I've been playing since launch. Yeah it's been rough but it's nice still seeing it alive
Wow. Seems I skipped a lot of content as I was leveling. Especially after the original storylines. Thanks so much for this vid!
Cheers! There's a ton out there.
As a new (Steam) player, thanks a lot for this! Looks like I have some stuff that I skipped accidentally. I even went to Nar Shaddaa before Taris!
This vid deserves so much more credit tbh, I mean it‘s super good in terms of swtor range but man the time invested to produce this video must had been outrageously long! Nice job!
Cheers! This is one I've wanted to make for a very long time. It took forever but was well worth it.
2:17 That's true. I play solo PVE and I'm level 70 and I haven't finished act 1 yet.
may the 4th be with you! your channel has been a great resource for me starting out the game :) great work :)
cheers! welcome to the game!
I have recently came across your videos, they are really good and interesting. Keep up the good work! 😄
Cheers, thanks Ivan!
The amount of quests to do really scares me, thanks :'^)
The good news is if you want you can just follow the purple quests and it is an easy and simple path, with the best quests picked out for you :D
I mean, true! It's just, it will take quite some time x3
Most sidequests come naturally along the way
im so happy you dedicated the tiem to do these guides also kid lee make things clear and not a spoiler alert fest-tnx.
Cheers! :)
Just getting into SWTOR. Great video and info. TY. You got yourself a new subscriber
Cheers!
Your videos are super helpful since I started Swotor a month ago. Thank you.
Amazing video! I've been playing for 2 years and still learning new things haha :)!
Cheers! There's so much in this game, I think it would be impossible to know about every secret little thing :P
Nothing like having swtor youtubers like you providing us with the information :)
Oh my God, I've been having this shower argument with myself for SOOOO LONG.
"Alright, this time I'm gonna make a character and play through the ENTIRE STORY in EXACT ORDER"
*just makes another throwaway PvP alt*
Thank you so much for putting this together, might actually re-sub to do a huge story playthrough.
Thank you so much for the video. Every time I finish Ilum, I end up finding all these bonus quests and planetary side stuff without knowing which order to do, haha. I want to play a linear story, which I don't go back and forth on, so thank you! :)
Cheers! You're not the only one.
Great video. You do a great job of the walk through. Made me realize that I missed some stuff along the way. I also love your voice. :D Very cute... like one of my daughter's telling me about a game she played, or a book she read. Thank you very much.
just started playing swtor i been wanting to play this game for so long need to learn alli can about it so you got a sub from me :)
Yeah I over-leveled pretty hard. Gonna just do the purps til' it evens itself out. Great video! :D
good plan!
It's easy to over level now, but it used to be nearly impossible.
"May the force be with you too old friend"
A very nice way to revive the game and old players. Great job indeed.
Cheers! There's an incredible amount of story out there.
Good job! I would like to see a video with all of story non soloable content, should be great for solo players!
I won't be making a video guide, but here is a written one! www.reddit.com/r/swtor/wiki/story
Alrighty, thanks! Love your videos, btw.
We should team up and hunt down datacrons
yeah use swtor spy for datacrons Iv'e been using that since release they didn't change where the datacrons are
Great video - perfect for second monitor viewing while playing vidya. Well done!
Thanks!
God your voice is amazing.
You are a saint and a scholar! 😁 watching your vids are so informative and always make me want to get on swtor. Thanks again!
Thanx for this extremely helpful.. I returned to game recently and was feeling bit overwhelm by the contents.. and ya lvl 70 sage and still in chapter 1 lol
Welcome back! Yeah, there is so much story out there!
This list is going to be a nice list for when they release the next update. It will be nice to replay some stories.... This time, from beginning to end.
Nowadays, this is what I'm doing in-game: planetary arch 'cause I'm a son of x12 and made all the class stories without doing side quests. Now it's time for that :D
I really loved the scope of the Hk51 line. I could see how it could be miserable if you got unlucky with searching but overall it was so unique
I really liked it apart from the searching
Really love your videos especially the playthrough...love the way you play it please keep it up ;)
Cheers, thanks Csaba!
