    No one gave me my land... I went to the bank and borrowed money to buy land. This is how my father did it and his father did it. If we can do it so can you. Nothing was given to me. I worked hard, even over time.Why can't you do the same. I never received anything for free...

  • @victorisaac9052
    @victorisaac9052 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

    If you take farms or land that is productive to give back to indigenous people who will only grow for themselves you are going to end up with another Zimbabwe. Around 700 farmers were evicted in zim and the farms given to a few politically connected people. How can this be called land redistribution. Be very careful what you wish for.

    • @tshidisomoraka8861
      @tshidisomoraka8861 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You conveniently avoid the fact that those farms only benefit the minority white people who lived in Zimbabwe while the majority lived like second class citizens in their own country and of course the sanction didn't also play a huge role.

    When i was a boy i was excited around the 1994 hype, didnt understand it but I was onboard. Time passed and not much difference, started working and paying taxes, im my heart that was going to be well spent. I can’t watch someone battling to survive, hek i cant even leave a car struck bird flapping on the pavement.
    I watched taxes being spent on court cases constantly, i watched the long awaited rdp housing just get sold and the true owner just returning to a shack nearby Kagiso and having the nerve to complain that he has nothing. I watched the balance of the ruling party destroy an image and reputation and Mr Mandela said nothing, for over a decade he said nothing while it all went to 💩
    Our tax haul is huge, but the non beneficial debts racked up on top of these dudes buying 27 ppe properties , one big funny looking plot with a fire pool, the police building in pta, the arms deal, the wastage is insane.
    The big projects that have been implemented were no more than a deceitful attempt to toll us for a highway improvement that didn’t improve much, every traffic light is off during peak hours and metro will be sure to be roadblocking at the same times.
    I trust no government, i have no time for politicians. They will say whatever it takes to get access to your taxes and therefore your children’s futures.
    Ive seen more text books dumped in rivers than were on my school grounds.

    Do you think that last option is viable? The threat issued by the Freedom Front leader and today's Minister of Correctional Services Dr Pieter Groenewald was "If anybody thinks in South Africa that you can take the land without compensation you're living in a dream!" He goes on to clarify that "if you want to start a civil war in South Africa, do that!"

  • @abelmthembu2072

    Just a side not, not in opposition but I've heard people complaining about scarcity of land in the country.
    I would like to point out that the issue of land on the country is not the same. Where I'm at Mpumalanga, land is not as scarce as I've seen in and around Gauteng. So as we tackle the land issue we specify the issue at those regions.

  • @BOZACKSKY
    @BOZACKSKY 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    That's what they did in Zimbabwe. Britain had been buying back some land on a willing buyer, willing seller from the beginning of the 1980s. Mugabe ended up with 1600 ha of land to himself.Todate there is epic corruption regarding land. What they did to whites, they are doing to each other as blacks. At the end of the day, productive individuals should stay on land, however, some sort of restitution will be needed. Occupying land is not fixing land issues. The challenge now is the huge population- not everyone will have a shot at owning land.

    • @tshidisomoraka8861
      @tshidisomoraka8861 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When you talk about productive individuals do you ask yourself whom they are productive to. We have a very high unemployment and inequality the salaries amongst black farm workers beyond the minimum wage.

    • @BOZACKSKY
      @BOZACKSKY 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's called capitalism. Such enterprises thrive on exploitation. The higher the wage bill the less viable - that's why historically these industries have thrived on a workforce that is prepaired work for less. Rhodesian farmers brught in Malawians and Mozambiquans to work on farms. In Zimbabwe today workers of Malawian origin are more valuable than rural Zimbabwean workers. In SA Zimbabwean farm workers are as valuable to the commercial farming as they are to the hospitality industry, in Germany Turkish workers have been more valuable than German workers. In Isreal Bangladeshi workers have been more valuable than Isreali or Palestinian workers. Business is about profitability, collective bargaining and competence. In Zimbabwe just after independence some new Shona landowners dismissed their inherited, highly skilled Malawian workers and paid the price for that, instead of creating managerial think tanks based on their vast experience and historic proximity to knowagable white farmers. One day people will learn, as Clinton put it that "it is the economy stupid." By all means find ways of offering restitution but don't destroy the economy while at it. An individual who starts a family must by default be abe to cater for it. When people become non committed impregnators while political actors bungle is where the problem truly lies.

      I don't know but it can be true. There is a white man who is responsible of two bowling clubs. He doesn't even rent them. He is paying only for the water and electricity he uses. Believe it or not he is working with black municipality employees because they get kick backs from him. He has bars in these bowling clubs and he charges old people when they want to have bowling tournaments or functions in these bowling clubs. Municipality employees don't want black people to come close to these facilities because they will feel entitled.

    If We have stages in life, like classes, which are recognised with how much money you make, or have, like to have assets.
    We will always have this problem, truth is this but I know no one will accept it.
    If we let the Government Own Everything, And We As The People take decisions before the government take action, we discuss problems and force every man to work in a certain area. No one will own BMW nor Any Luxury, Nike brands nor swagg, no social media or musicians, as all this don't contribute to a country's problem.
    We should sacrifice our life time for the upcoming generation, empower ourselves with edúcation, tech, and build men who are strong in one field...China is an example of this
