This base (Guinness) is now discontinued Ben. Do not BST it. There are two options from HAGS now: The "Hathor" base, that has tallow and the "Osiris", that is vegan. Both very thirsty bases, with good scent variety. There is an upcoming base from him in 5th July, the "Cortex" with Olive Oil. More expensive though than the others. Dimitris is doing a great job I believe, not because he is a fellow Greek like me, but because he is a great artisan. He has an obsession with monsters though 😅😊
Great shave I am finding with the mild razor I get razor burn with the more aggressive ones no burn. Probably me but I got 3 goats I rotate that I can get the same results with.
I shaved yesterday like I meant it. Ten years with a Thiers Issard straight razor. First time in four years I performed a nasty fillet-o-face. I should mean it so much….. Have a great day Ben, everyone!
I’ve had 3 shaves with my winning and so far no luck, quite aggressive feeling and I do get a lot of nicks unfortunately. I find the Merica way superior.
HAGS labels are really weird and many don't seem to relate to the scent in the container. Eulogy scent is not something I would normally go for. The lather looks rich and dense though.👌🤠👌
Hey Lawrie yeah that’s another thing about the hags labels that are annoying. Most have nothing to do at all with the scent. I haven’t bothered with the brand yet. I just can’t get on board with the labels.

I like aggressive razors more, with more blade feel.

Winning was terrible for me. Constant nicks. Wicked blade feel without the efficiency.
