One of my favorites! It’s a bit dated for everyday use but I have it sprayed on my favorite cap for every day use.

I’m wanting to get a super slant but there are so many versions. and i have no idea which one to get but it’s definitely too expensive to just pick one all wily nilly you know. How do you know which base plate to get?

Spot-on regarding scent expectations setting us up for extreme disappointment. I've also had multiple experiences of having initially disappointing, disliked scents grow on me to point of craving them. Odd, isn't it, and I wonder about the psychology (or physiology) of our evolving responses to scents: how does a fragrance go from zero to hero?

Thanks for the scent descriptions. Can you contrast this sweet one-Smoke on the Water-with Armonía? Would also be nice to know where these scents fall relative to the Mammoth tobaccos, Shire, Smash, and Tobacconist.

Thanks for the review! I really wanted to like the supply SE (design looks so cool), but it was way too mild and like you, I kept doing passes and ended up with cuts and razor burn. I changed the blades and the same thing. I'm glad I saw your review on the pro version before trying that out. I went back to my DE safety razor and have nice smooth, close shaves.

MAGA! Great soap set! I'm waiting for the inauguration to shave and post a video! I had a BL Sabre and sold it. Found that a vintage GEM/Ever Ready razor was better for my face!

Hey! I believe that soap base is a Vegan base and not the Omnibus (Tallow). The same vegan base was used in the Roam 2 soap. I am starting to like the Denim aftershaves lately. Have yet to try the Musk offering. Take care Ben!

If you lose any subscribers, the US must be even more divided than it gives the impression of being! Looking at it from the outside (I’m not American), it seems clear that the Dems didn’t realise the election was about THEM - and not about DJT or the GOP. The new formulation is without Tallow. It still has Lanolin which is not actually a fat but more of a wax I believe.

I'm down to my last 1 1/2 tubs of original roam. Sounds like roam two might be worth trying For someone who likes the off-putting original

Ah, Ben. Another top video. Castle Forbes is good stuff, no doubt about it! You won’t agree with me, but I think the irritation under your chin is caused by sideways movement of the razor. My suggestion: either go straight up from your Adam’s Apple to above your chin, or straight down. You can maybe try sideways after your first full pass (when some beard reduction has occurred). In this video, you went straight to the sideways movement as part of your first pass (and then did quite a lot of buffing). I know, I’m full of it, but that’s how it looks to me. Mind you, I grew a goatee because I hated shaving my chin! I’m still hoping to see a shave during one of your hikes… Cheers. 👍🪒

For those of us who just want a better than cartridge shave, your videos will remain a great way for us to immerse ourselves in the culture and technique of DE shaving, even if we're not that interested in collecting. I’m thinking the winning razor has more blade feel because of the way the blade is torqued and will not likely flex as easily as the Merica.

I’ll stick with the Nivea Men sensitive gel, just has a much better glide to it. But I gotta say, those sensor blades are awesome

Yeah... I swapped to this, and i'm not sure if I like the Sensor or the Excel is better for me. I think the standard sensor is best for "can foams". then again i'm a Nivea men user so doesn't bug me too much lol Nice vid.

I hope B&M will do one day a crowd pleaser scent, maybe some aquatic/musk one. As it is my top 3 soap bases. For now my fav is waves.

Yeah B&M certainly has some weird scents, especially his „Eigengrau“ haunts me to this day 😂 But as always of course YMMV

Some of their reasoning for justifying five blades instead of three blades is off. I found Gillette Mach3 to be smoother and give less irritation, AND NOT more tendency to get cuts, but LESS!
