The true ending comes on the Third Playthrough. Start NG ++ And then again: Choose everything that is different, never repeat if you have the option of doing something new
This, for me, is my favorite ending of the game. The slow gameplay progressions throughout really seem to come together here. Ayre feels like a combination of Balteus and Ibis to fight, and Breach the Karman line gives us the ultimate power trip while closing out Rusty's storyline in a satisfying way. BUT the 3rd ending feels like a true Armored Core 1 ending, but brought into the current gen. And it has my favorite OST in the game. Anyways, was waiting for this one. Good stuff man!
V.I Freud is the only pilot in AC 6 who hasn’t gotten any augmentations and just keeps upgrading and improving his Ac. Man lives for the fight . I guess that’s a metaphor for the undying human spirit to overcome all the odds. The only arena human pilot to be ranked one.
Ayre's fight was the most heartbreaking fight for me. I really like her because she is always nice and supportive of you and simply wants the best for her species and humans. I just hate abandoning and killing her. It feels so cold to leave her like that. Hearing her be so disappointed and angry at you made me feel so sad. You can also subtly see her reaching out to you with her mech's hand when her power shuts down :(
Fun Fact: If you don't stop assault boosting during Rusty's entrance, he will actually keep going at you until both your two ACs clash and basically headbutt each other. It's sick.
If you use the stationary shield extension thing when the rockets show up it stops most of them. Ive never been able to shoot any of them down but I did get an S rank on it and if you save that tank missile boat MT for near last it helps a lot as well.
@@Claayh It's true. A well placed pulse protection extension will catch most, maybe even all of the rockets. A well timed assault armor extension will do the same.
Both Rusty and Chatty are done dirty man. Rusty dies in both endings and in the third it's kind of implied he dies? Not conclusive tho so he could also have survived, and my boy Chatty dies in all three. ;( Also man that Kazqualas guy in chat seems rly cool and probably handsome too
I would have loved it if you, as the AC, would have stood by Ayre when the explosion eats everything up in the cutscene. It could have been a seperate scene that triggers if you do more RLF missions or something like that.
vZWqDGJ-qTU There's a little fun fact about the final boss fight in this video. Turns out there's a whole battle going on in the background Between the Xylem and the Closure Satellite.
Weird thing about V.I Freud is that his AC is a mixture of Balam, Dafeng, and Arquebus parts. Most of the Vespers have parts respective to their corporation and not Balam.
Freud is V.I, its likely that Arquebus values him enough that theyre willing to let him use whatever AC parts he likes in order to keep him on their side. They probably know he doesnt have any true loyalty to them, so if he's unhappy with his position he might just leave. Which would explain why they let him keep the V.I rank even though he has no interest in being commander of the Vespers.
@@goosemanVEVO Well to be fair I'm pretty sure Rusty's AC does not use ANY Arquebus parts unless you count Schneider, so Vespers are most likely free to use whatever they want but it's probably frowned upon.
@@ClaayhRusty dialogue in phase2 when you have low AP: "Must be heavy this...porpuse you found. You finally show me who you are it too late now but it doesn't have to end this way!"
I love how some random Arquabus HC is more dangerous than the best AC in the game lore wise. 18:56 "can I dodge please?" fun fact, no you can't :D yeah if you get hit at to very start of the stun with that weapon every hit locks you into a stun animation. But if you get hit any other time with that weapon you can move freely. Why that weapon has a very specific game plan that Rust really doesn't use right. But really both his ACs could be better regardless.
