I find it interesting to see how newer players fair with the game now that many AC parts have been buffed and nerfted. Overall not much has changed.

Yeah there is 4 parts, 9 combat logs, and 2 data logs in Infiltrate Grid 086 which is a massive map and those are all kind of hard to find :p The laser blade does have bad vertical tracking. Really all melee weapons have bad vertical tracking unless you start doing pre canceling with them (advance blade tech). But I prefer the good old pulse blade you start with. Quick, reliable, good damage. Although the laser dagger is probably the best for just pressure although that needs to be unlocked later. Still, I feel that this is a game where every part has a use, just some parts are more useful than others so really you can find a use for everything. Honestly I don't like the Vvc-770LB more for the heavy attacks long charge up time, the fact you can't do melee cancels on the heavy right and me getting annihilated by it. But I've seen other people do work with that thing. by fair not the worst weapon. Also sense talking about parts here, they don't tell you this unless you dig into the parts but there are 3 stats that can add to weapon damage. The first for energy weapons (energy melee weapons do NOT count as energy weapons in this game for this) there is a generator stat called Energy Firearm Spec. Basically, if it's over 100 you do more damage, under you do less. Second is Melee Specialization for arm parts, pretty much the same thing And 3rd is kicking is governed by your AC total weight and it's buffed by the type of legs you're using. Mainly reverse joint heavy ACs can kick the hardest. But they all have downsides. Energy Spec gens tend to have horrible performance, the best melee spec arms suck at shooting so they have bad spread and lock speed, and really how are you gonna kick someone if your slow. Because how the game works you can build around this. Like you don't need gun slinging arms if your FCS is compensating for it. Hell even just being a chunky chicken walker with no weapons can work it's just hard. But still building is as fun as the shooting for me.

Took you a bit against the smart cleaner but still, well done! ACVI's arena fights tend to vary wildly in difficulty for every person depending on the build so that's why a lotta people struggle on Maeterlink but burst through Swinburne's health where for you its flipped. And if no one told you yet, you did fight Rummy before, in the arena. Lorewise, the arena is just a virtual battleground where ALLMIND takes old data. It's why the fights in the arena are easier compared to their actual potential encounters. Also kinda sad I missed your recent live stream tho, you streamed when I was asleep lol.

Really there is like 2 maybe 3 people in the whole game that are "good guys". This is a very much grey area game lol. But hey your a merc so you get paided either way. Multi lock is a missile only thing and it's locked to missiles with multi launch functions. Also a function i almost never use. But i focus on blades which is technically the weakest play style but probably the most rewarding. It has a lot of hidden movment mechanics in it so i love it.

Bro, this is hands down my most played game this year. And id never played AC or a from soft game before. The story is good. Pvp is fun, although you should at least finish 1 full playthrough for extra parts and stuff. If you dont mind me asking, what system do you play on

Keep mind when you are into looking for hidden secrets, use your Scan. You don’t use them often, but scanning in certain areas will reveal hidden stuff and they question you on how to get there or knowing the enemies in the next room or area. Scanning duration and distance is affected by your Head Piece.

This is a really dope game. Won best Action Game for 2023. Here are two pieces of advice that will help you out. 1. Don't get attached to your build. As you progress through the game and its levels, enemies, and bosses, you're gonna need to need to be open-minded regarding different ways to attack the various challenges they pose. I've watched several of your playthroughs, and I see you're pretty flexible with your play style, so I don't see that being a problem 2. Buy everything in the store. It's a timely grind, but it's better to have and not need than to need and not have. Yes, you can sell back something you're not using and buy whatever you need. But if you're mid-mission and decide you need a different part that is not in your inventory (e.g., arms, processor, weapons, etc), you're gonna have to leave the mission to access the store. This means you'll have to replay the whole mission from the beginning. I had to do this for the Wall Climber mission (my legs weren't the best for fighting the boss), and it started me from the beginning. You've played enough FromSoftware games to know that there are some boss fights out there that will make you rethink your build, so it's best to be ready so you don't have to play the mission over again. They aren't all as short as some of the earlier missions.

Notice how different factions offer different missions. Balam usually hires you against the RLF and gives you a bonus for MTs destroyed. Arquebus usually hires you against Balam. The Rubicon Liberation Front hires you against the corps and pays the least, but at least you feel better about yourself.

You can explore a decent amount I feel like. There are a few special enemies tucked in corners and sometimes you'll find armor/weapon chests. Lookin forward to the playthrough, I loved this game. One of the few I've played through multiple times to get all the endings.
