- Many game franchises included references and cameos of the Kirby series. May it be Gordos who appeared as enemies in Mario games or even a Kirby-lookalike who fights Link in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

Agree, king DeDeDe is a true king , he has a cool theme , he has a cute and cool subordinates , he is a swag giant penguin with cool hat , (interesting fact ) in super smash bros on 3ds in info about DEDEDE its said that DEDEDE don't need to copy ability like kirby because he is all ready PERFECT

I love the reference in the Mario and Luigi game for the fact that it also has the legendary Starfy reference as well. Such a underrated game with a well made plot.
Relic Zach Starfy did appear in Super Princess Peach in some harder to find locations.

Here's some trivia. Both the Mario series and Kirby series have had the Star Rod featured in them. Paper Mario and a Mario party title had it and Kirby's Adventure/Nightmare in Dreamland featured the star rod. It would be cool if the kirby series was a distant galaxy in Mario's universe.

I know of another reference and cameo. In a few different versions of Taiko Drum Master, you can play different songs from the Kirby series, and on the switch version, you can choose to replace Don-chan with Kirby.

That's why I think that there are multiple Earth's in the gaming universe. Earth from the Call of Duty franchise, Earth from the Halo franchise, and many more.
Remember anything is possible in the gaming universe. It's a universe that expands over 1000 franchises and thousands upon thousands of games.
I think a conected multiverse would make more sense since a universe can only be so big ad I'm sure it wouldnt take long for the spartans from halo to find the plaet with the pikmin. Also smash bros is also confusing.

Actually, the music is manually controlled by the player by certain inputs. Just look up "Big Band" and you're bound to find what I'm talking about.

Plus kirby himself is bald so :p
Just Squid that, and the fact that Cleffa is classified as the Star Shape Pokémon, since Kirby has some running association with stars.
The creators for Kirby named him that because they wanted a "harsh" sounding name to contrast with the pink cute character.
Personally I never saw Kirby as a rough name, but thats probably because I've associated the name with the Nintendo character all my life.

Another crazy Kirby reference is in Disgaea 5, the monster type Bear unit can learn an attack in wich it goes towards a tree, it eats the shiny and round fruit from the tree and then performs a wild sucction attack. emulating the hypernova from triple deluxe.
