Nice riding, thank you for sharing. Since it's been so long for me, my second bike will be another first bike. I guess my third will have to be a Goldwing. David and Shade will have fun bringing me back up to speed.
@@BlissfulEllie oh yeah and after you take that first trip you'll keep planning more. I won't speak for anyone else but that's how it always happens for me.
He really needs to clean or replace that windshield on his Gold Wing, because even when he rides it no one can see any thing that's being recorded because all you see is dirt.
Good for you Ellie, and welcome back to FL where you belong. Not sure I would have had your first experience on a bigger bike be Shade Tree's, because it looks a bit too sketchy. I hope you can try out Chey's, which is in much better running condition and a whole lot safer. Keep riding and smiling.
First time watching ya! I being a guy with a 30" inseam trying to fit certain bikes is not the easiest. May I suggest an Adventurer style bike like BMW R1200GS or V-Strom DL1000. Not saying they would be perfect but may suit you a little better. The Golden Wing is a beast though!!! Cheers and happy riding!
Thanks for watching! I have a 38” inseam, my daily rider is a RE Himalayan which has a 31.5” seat height and it’s nice! I love almost every bike I’ve ridden so far honestly they all have their perks
@@BlissfulEllie No big deal though. I was just more concerned with maybe running over a piece of ground that was to soft underneath, like gopher holes and the wheels sinking in. When a 920 pound motorcycle gets a little Squirrley they can definitely get away from you. You definitely nailed it though. Great job! Personally, I’ve done quite a bit of off-roading on my Goldwings. I take it you’ve already had the chance to ride the GL1800! I’m glad you enjoyed riding that awesome machine. They are definitely second to none. Take care and keep the rubber side down! 🏍️
I like the fact that we can't see anything thru that dirty screen!! Otherwise, welcome to the world of the big bikes and thanks for the beautiful sunset sky colors!
good stuff guys !!! ive been looking at these girls my self hope you get to chase some tomorrow for us all. im getting about 1' of snow tonight :-( enjoy it and #livetoride
Use a light polish compound and a soft foam pad on a dual action polisher ,fix that windshield, prob do both sides, have some 1 put hands on either side so can add pressure without braking screen .
As big as the Gold Wing is, the seat height isn't that high and the bike is very well-balanced. I'm 5'4" and when I used to work at the dealership, people would always get a kick out of seeing me ride on the highway lol. Now the Vision Touring on the other hand...talk about a turd lol.
1000 pounds is pretty crazy. I use to ride Ninja 600 / GSXR 750 and they were 400+ pounds. Now I ride a crf250l and it's like 320 pounds. I want something lighter/faster.
Not ergonomisch for someone our size, your hips will start hurting on longer rides. An adventure bike is your best bet, how did the HD Panam feel? Groeten from the Netherlands, Transalp raised seat and handle bars, lowered pegs.
@@BlissfulEllie The old Yamaha XT or CR 500 would be a good fit. But just accept that you will have to customise every ride you ever buy. My stove is on a crawler, just so i can fit my size 13' s under it, i got wooden pegs under my chairs.🤷🏼♂️ The world is build for average ppl, we have to personalise our shit! You'll adept and conquer.
You’re right, it’s hard! There are no brands and my sleeves are too short 😅 this purple jacket is from Sport Bike Chic and it works but my wrists are still out. They have a tall jean with a 35” inseam that is the only pants I found (even though I have a 38”so they’re still a little short). I also have a bilt techno jacket that has sleeves almost long enough!
Yeah for sure. The good thing about bikes is a lot of them are fairly customizable and have ways to fix them up and make them comfier for my longness 😊 plus I can make content out of it so win win
At a stop, with motor off, lean a little to the side, then up then the other way then up . Building up the strength in those legs and also showing you how far you can lean before it becomes to heavy. .
If you weren’t so young I would literally ask you to marry me right now. You are tall, beautiful, and you like motorcycles. I’m 6’8” so I understand the challenges that go along with being taller than most of the human race.
Nice to see you Ellie. Not many bikes bigger than the Goldwing. Good job.
Great background music while cruising the Gold Wing. Peaceful easy feeling.
*our tall qween looks good on the wing*
👸 🤠
You did great on that GW, Ellie. Well done and big thanks!!
Ah the old Himalayan->Goldwing upgrade, tale as old as time
😂
Great job Ellie. New learning curve. See you on the road.🌺🎅🏼🏍🇺🇸🤗
I’ve never seen anyone swing a leg over the front of a bike before. 😊
Ellie
Great video! You are getting good at riding anything on two wheels now! Adorable Lady! You go girl! 🌹🌹
Ride SAFE and BE safe Lady! 👍👍
Thank you 😊 I feel like I could do anything it’s such a confidence boost 💕
Great job Ellie!!
The music always chills me out.
Awesome!!!! You're legit one of the coolest people!!!

Ellie, we should start a campaign, to get rid of ceiling fans!! Just wacked mine.. again.. cool video!!
WOW! that's awesome Ellie!!! You're awesome!!!
Thank you!
Glad you Enjoyed the Goldwing and Can't wait to see you doing some Long distance riding in the future!
I can’t wait honestly! I’ve already got a couple trips mentally planned 🤩
@@BlissfulEllie oh yeah and after you take that first trip you'll keep planning more. I won't speak for anyone else but that's how it always happens for me.
you did really good ! you fit that bike just fine! just get really familiar where the controls and switches are !
Nice ride !
Learn however you're most comfortable, love it!
No better feeling than overcoming a fear🙌 young lady 😊
Good on ye' lass for riding the Goldwing. A wee bit of a step up from a Himalayan, but not much. 🤣🤣
Awesome 😎
Love me some Ellie!!!
Good job Ellie!
Blissful Biker 🤟👽🚲🎬
well i am subscribed! love your videos. as a height-averaged person i find them fun
Ellie’s finally riding a Goldwing
It’s only a matter of time until I own one!
Cool 😎 video Ellie, I subscribe to your channel because of this video, congrats
A butterfly taming an elephant.
❤
thanks for sharing.
I wish more women in the world were tall and addicted to motorcycles.
Hi just subbed from south Australia crushing it
He really needs to clean or replace that windshield on his Gold Wing, because even when he rides it no one can see any thing that's being recorded because all you see is dirt.
I’ll pass that along 😅
It’s like driving in the fog. Clearview makes nice replacements- reasonably priced.
He's a dirtbag.

Cheys is a little short for me! It’s lower down than this one. It was fine it operated perfectly 😊 David’s definitely felt smoother though 😅
You rock on that Goldwing
Good on ya ride on ride safe
Oh SuperEllie, I love you even more when I see you riding a motorcycle...🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Riding on grass for the first time on a bike like that is not usually a good idea but she killed it! 🤪😂🏍️
What’s wrong with the grass! Softer landing in case I fall off 😅 also there weren’t any holes where I was riding

Yeah my Himalayan is 415 lbs I think! It feels really light and nimble comparatively but honestly the Goldwing wasn’t that bad! It’s balanced well
@shadetree_surgeon
I need the link to those gloves
sorry thought i was on shades channel good job young lady
Reina.
You've gotten so much more confident since your early videos with Shadetree - I hope you can still enjoy the himmy after this!
Aw thank you ☺️ and I definitely still love the Himalayan 🥰 the more bikes the merrier though
👍👍
There ya go girl. Grate attitude. Welcome.
Someone didn’t take very good care of their windshield, obviously! 🤪😂
I have yet to ride a Gold-Wing or anything over 500lbs actually... I really should try.
You should! It’s really fun 🤩
Yes you are doing great just remember to indicate ok 😂😂😘
Nice work. I can tell you scared yourself a couple times but you remained call and worked it out every time.
A Himalayan to a Goldwing is one hell of a contrast!
So fun though 🤩
He should have put you on the Red Wing.(F6B) Its much smoother with linked brakes..Lower center of gravity..
You're so badass. Motorcycles scare me.
Not ergonomisch for someone our size, your hips will start hurting on longer rides.
An adventure bike is your best bet, how did the HD Panam feel?
Groeten from the Netherlands, Transalp raised seat and handle bars, lowered pegs.
The panam was cool but my legs were in kinda cramped position on it, even with forward controls it’s an odd fit for me personally
@@BlissfulEllie The old Yamaha XT or CR 500 would be a good fit.

As someone who's 6', I'm curious what kind of motorcycle jacket Ellie wears, because ZERO companies make bike gear for tall women.
You’re right, it’s hard! There are no brands and my sleeves are too short 😅 this purple jacket is from Sport Bike Chic and it works but my wrists are still out. Anyway I wanna start a tall gear brand one day, I think it would benefit a lot of people and bonus I can have whatever cool gear I want 🥰
Your riding was on point. Im proud of you. Now you know you can ride anything you desire to put your lovely legs over. Now go ride young lady. 🎉
I'm not a biker, but I think bikes are like everything else in the world, they're designed for average sized people. We just have to live with it.
Yeah for sure. The good thing about bikes is a lot of them are fairly customizable and have ways to fix them up and make them comfier for my longness 😊 plus I can make content out of it so win win
My God! Did I just see you throw your leg over the windshield?
Isn’t that the right way to mount a motorcycle..? 🤔
🤠
Yeah, you need a big touring bike for sure.
At last!
At a stop, with motor off, lean a little to the side, then up then the other way then up . Building up the strength in those legs and also showing you how far you can lean before it becomes to heavy. .
Yeah I didn’t get the opportunity to drop it and see if I can pick it back up but I’ll do that when I’m back in Florida 😊

I Love you Tall girl😘❤
Maybe clean the windscreen ?
I’ll let him know 🙃
now the Enfield gets traded? She needs a bike that fits but maybe not as heavy yet
I’m not trading the Royal Enfield I’m gonna hang onto it and find a used Goldwing 😌
a skull bucket even on first ride for a bike that heavy even on grass just a thought
Can't tell you how many times I've taken off with my helmet not strapped.
I can see you owning a gl1500se goldwing
Omg... Can't see through that nasty windshield lol. I think it's time for a polish or replacement
🐓
😊
Can't even see through that windscreen!!

And ... Goldwings are a LOT Less topheavy than harleys
Bikes for big / tall people….i ride a ST1300 but i’m only 2 meters so maybe a bit small for you…
😇
Dont for get the 👍
Ellie🦾
I did worse, I went from a himalayan to an Africa Twin adventure sports 😂.
See I sat on an Africa twin lately and I did not have knee room with that tank! Still a cool looking bike tho
Great job Ellie 👌👌
No boots (ankles unprotected), no good pants, no safe motorcycle jacket........
only gloves/helmet and....
I’m literally wearing Harley Davidson boots, armored Kevlar riding jeans, and an armored Kevlar riding hoodie…….. are we watching the same video?
good job
