In this video, I share the second part of my awesome motorcycle trip to Yorkshire with my friend Lillie. We are both passionate bikers and we decided to have a girls biking holiday in this beautiful area of England.
On this day, we met up with my partner mike and have a wonderful day :)

Day One: Clithroe - Slaidburn - Bentham - Ingleton - Hawes - Sedbergh - Kirkby Lonsdale
Day Two: Devils Bridge - Ingleton - Hawes - Kirkby Stephen - Middleton In Teesdale - Alston - Hartside Pass - Shap - Sizergh (on the A6) - Kirkby Lonsdale
Day Three: Kirkby Lonsdale - Long Preston - Wigglesworth - Forest Beck (on the A6) - A59 to motorways and then home.

Fantastic tour there Girls, some crack’n roads to boot, I’ll have to try and persuade our Motley Crew to look at that for next year (annual tour) we’re doing the NC 500 The Wrong Way Round (Anti Clockwise) and Skye this year, Hopefully the weather will have settled by the end of May 🙏
Your trip vids are awesome! You should do a lot more of them, especially with Lilly and your other girl friend`s. Keep up the great work!

Haha Lillie didn't want coms if I remember correctly. Not everyone does and the priority wasn't me trying to persuade her into something she didn't want 😊 we just wanted a good time.
Most of the video was Miked up, he arrived at the breakfast stop on the Enfield 😊

Great vid 🙂 some of my fave routes/roads covered. Such a shame Hartside cafe was lost and has not been rebuilt yet.

You have to feel sorry for those poor people living down south who will never experience our dales roads, such a shame. When the sun is shining and the summer heat hits your back it really is "gods own country ".

Thank you for posting, it’s brought back some lovely memories of my holiday in Northumberland then back down into Yorkshire and seeing Hawes again. That lovely accent you have. You would have hated me towing a caravan but I had no idea of the roads and trip I encountered. My wife and I are from Wales and thought the roads would not be as tiny in Wales. I’m also a biker aged 72 and oh how I was wishing I could do it again on my bike. Your part of the country is beautiful. 😊😊

Great to see you up my neck of the woods, those are my weekend rides for sure around Teesdale, Middleton and Alston.
Hartside used to have one of the best and most popular bikers cafes in the north, so sad its gone now.

Nice one, Kate! The North Pennines are a hidden gem - open, flowing roads, great views, very few cars. Perfect. I nearly ended on that corner where you stopped to film with the drone. I overdid it on a gixxer and ended up lying with the sheep, the gixxer entangled in the fence. An expensive lesson learned. Thankfully, pride was hurt more than me. 😃
That really was a C1 Corvette at the ice cream van. A rare and special thing indeed.
Looks like you 3 had fun out there! I’ve only been up there once many years ago. No excuse now I’ve got a full licence!

Great video! I love that morning breakfast spot. Nothing like eating a delicious bacon sandwich in a beautiful place. The bacon looked top shelf. I think Lillie is fantastic rider and absolutely adorable! What a fabulous Lady! I could watch you two demons riding all day long. Mike was hilarious with his little off road stunt! The beautiful scenery there is mind boggling. The drone footage was fantastic! Those roads and the rolling countryside are to die for! I'm thinking the UK is definitely on my short list to visit. I think the videos of this trip are the best you have done Kate! Great stuff. I can't wait for your next outing with lovely Lillie! 🌹

Stunning road over the hartside …. Dropping down through into Cumbria and onto Penrith , stay on the A6 down through to Preston … gorgeous

Buzzing to see Hartside in your video's! I was telling Mike, I used to go up there all the time in the cars when the cafe was there.

We came down to Alston from St Boswells on Sunday…the roads from Jedburgh down past Kielder Water are fantastic. Then Hartside, Shap Kendal and home to Lancaster.

The Middleton in Teas Dale 😉 to Alston is probably one of the best bits of road countryside in the UK imo.AONB ( Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty)

Well Hello... First time Watcher..... From West Yorkshire.... You can see why it is called "Gods County"..... Brother lives in Kendal so have driven some of those roads before..... But it is a long time since I Rode a Motorcycle..... Used to ride CB 750`s I had a few of them....Until someone tried to Kill me by pulling out on me!!!! Flew about 50 yards but didn`t break anything.....just concussion.... I will be watching more...... :-)) xxxx

Great job Kate and Lily. Magnificent roads and scenery which makes me want to consider a bike like the Interceptor. Slow things down and take it all in. Perfect bike for those types of roads. I’m just on the other side of the planet, is all.

I have been out twice for a short run this year on my Suzuki bandit up here in Scotland it’s still cold for riding but after watching your videos I can’t wait for the better weather to come

These are the videos I like, the road tests are ok but bikes are subjective. What suits one don't suit another.
Did that route and the Teapot cafe last weekend. Great roads. And on our doorstep luckily. 😊
Also look up Windy Nook bikers cafe at Alston if in area. . The place to be now Hartside cafe burnt down😢. And a cracking road from there to Brampton 👍
Great videos as always Kate, I love that part of the country and recommend the Chatterbox cafe at St John's chapel on the A689 (All the food is made to order so not the quickest service but I keep going back) and if you get to Helmsley, look up Ryeburn of Helmsley, some of the best Ice Cream I have had!
All that sunshine and blue skies made me wish it was like that now.. Watching this after a 22 mile journey home from work in a heavy rainstorm most of the ride back. Currently got all my riding gear drying out on the radiators. No sign of any let up in this rainy weather anytime soon. Ride safe girls, till next time.

This bike has pretty much everything you need from a “go anywhere do anything” bike it seems. Looks are subjective but I really like it. Fantastic value at the price too.
My personal issue might be the seat height as, although I’m the same height as you, my legs are a bit shorter but I’m keen to give it a try.
