I wanted to buy the Google Pixel 4a initially. However, with Google's brilliant marketing team, I've shifted my interested from Pixel 4a to Oneplus Nord. Well played, Google.
Bluetooth wireless reduces audio sound quality, and I've already got all the comfortable, customized, earplug sets that I like for home, travel, workout and pillow speakers etc and I'd have to buy, and power, transceivers to play on my analogue sound systems so.... it's a NO from Me too!

I love how he even highlights the small differences and imperfections in a smartphone of any price range or quality, even the slightest details. The way he reviews a gadget is 10/10 . Cindy Alicia I think the majority of people have gotten used to no headphone jack. You’re talking about 2016 when Apple got rid of it and 2017 or 2018 where android got rid of it. 2 years is quite a long time for the smartphone market.
Brandon Ho Well I am one of those people that listen 20/7 to music through earphones so for me getting Bluetooth earphones is just expensive and they will not last me the whole day. Also I listen quite regularly to music while charging my phone so I guess I than have to look for a splitter that has usb c and a jack
@@SW-8228 bluetooth headphones have noticeable lags and we also have to connect them manually everytime switching from pc to phone and vice versa. they also have to be charged regularly. i think i have counted enough reasons to prefer wired earphones

Its honestly great! Best feeling phone that ive held and just a pleasing "item" to look at. Also pretty scratch proof it feels. Got this cool clear case free in The package so i can see The Bright blue colour of The back. Unfortunately its probably not waterproof.
I'm happy with this, I've always appreciated OnePlus, they seem to be one of the few phone companies really trying to not leave their loyal fan base in the dust, amidst the more expensive phones of recent years. I still enjoy the 6T, it's still fast, reliable and pleasant to use! The NORD is an obvious upgrade choice for me over the 8 and 8pro (and even the eventual T series'), I'm happy to say, the NORD is the first new phone I've considered buying in a long while. I would suggest that you look at the 7t for your upgrade choice which is very close in price with the NORD but has more or less better specs in every single department. I would even rate it above the oneplus 8 as the 7t has a better camera setup. The only thing it's missing would be 5g which I don't think is relevant in most countries right now.
@@donnawoodward3163 Nope I am specifically talking about the 7t. The 7t has an extra telephoto lens (12Mp) compared to the shitty 2mp Macro Gimmick the OP 8 has and costs way less. The camera on the 7t as a result actually outperforms the OP8 and you can check multiple reviews for that. The 855 plus is more or less equal to the 865 in day to day tasks (at max 10 percent difference in heavy tasks) which is pretty negligible to be honest.
I got this phone this month and it has improved a lot. It has larger fingerprint scanner in the lock screen, and a lot higher specks like 12gb ram, 256gb storage and camera feels a bit better. And all in the same price

The video was good but I don't know about the comparison with the oppo find x2 lite though that phone is average at best to begin with . I wish it was compared with something better in that category like poco F2 pro which is priced exactly the same or pixel 3a or iPhone SE

If the price was right then yes, it has everything the Nord phone has but better. SD 855+ also is a beast chip. Only relevant if you game alot, but SD 765G can’t compete in compute;)
I would be curious to see a direct comparison between the Nord & the last gen 7t. I am personally looking to upgrade from my old Pixel 2 XL & while I am waiting to see what Google does with the Pixel 5, I'm am strongly considering OnePlus (both the 7t & now Nord)

Try reviewing Realme X3 , it is a 335$ smartphone with almost identical and somewhat better specifications than One Plus Nord , Realme X3 also comes with Snapdragon 855+
Emphasis on "somewhat". For a middle range android phone nowadays, an AMOLED display with 400+ ppi is a must. Also, OnePlus' dealbreaker is their camera (Nord has OIS while X3 has EIS). One of the strongest standpoints of the Nord is the "stolen" camera from their own flagship.

Just an adapter/connector will just do fine. I'm using a OnePlus 7. I have a wireless realme buds (BT), wired(3.5mm jack) & a 1+ type c earphones. The 3.5mm jack with connector will work wonders if the earphones are premium... Wireless is the future!
I've just picked up a cheap, brand new Nord. Literally as a stop gap until i can get something better in a month. The only issue is i actually love this phone now. I wasn't expecting much bar swearing at it for being slow and lacking features for a month. Now though, now I'm thinking of keeping it and just saving the money. It's a really good phone, i paid cheap and was expecting cheap. But really, I've been proven wrong. The fingerprint sensor is probably the best I've ever seen. Coming from a pixel 7 (left on the roof of a car, forgot it was there, phone went bouncing along the road behind me) which regularly failed on the fingerprint scanner, i haven't had to use the back up pin once. Brilliant phone and would highly recommend!
@Dr Monkas I have a tablet without one and had to buy a seperate pair of headphones that won't work well all the time on my phone amd laptop, doesn't fit at other people's phone, laptop or tablet (yeah, I share headphones with close family and friends). Now I know what a hell it is and I refuse to buy a phone without a jack. People just don't realise it is only to make money for wireless headphones and I am not gonna sponser that (and throw away my spare headphones). Midrangers do have them, except for a few one's that are really stupid because most of the time people with cheaper phones don't wanna spend (1)50 euro's on wireless headphones anyways. Complete flagships are hard to find nowadays, I found like 2 (Sony Xperia 1 ii and LG V60).
Just get the oneplus 6. I think it is better overall. Cheaper, better processer and a headphonejack. It loses on the camara, but the camara is still pretty good in the oneplus 6.
Next video idea: Camera test between the latest budget phones; OnePlus NORD VS Vivo X50 Pro VS iPhone SE VS Oppo Find X2 Lite VS Samsung of your choice. And yes ROG Phone 3 is coming too, so you can take that as an option and make a video with the comparison between these 6 phones😁 If anybody agrees, please like this so that Arun can see this...
This isn't particularly groundbreaking in 2020 though. Pixel 3a did this trick very well at a similar price point, and I believe was the first to take the chance with consumers paying less for a top mid-range with a fantastic pictures (let's not get into Google's emphasis on software vs hardware- the end result is excellent). Apple has done the trick with the SE. There are rumors of Google considering it for the upcoming Pixel 5. That being said, it's always refreshing to see a video that doesn't slam a device for not having the latest features without seeing the big picture

I got this phone this month and it has improved a lot. It has larger fingerprint scanner in the lock screen, and a lot higher specks like 12gb ram, 256gb storage and camera feels a bit better. And all in the same price

If the price was right then yes, it has everything the Nord phone has but better. SD 855+ also is a beast chip. Only relevant if you game alot, but SD 765G can’t compete in compute;)

Try reviewing Realme X3 , it is a 335$ smartphone with almost identical and somewhat better specifications than One Plus Nord , Realme X3 also comes with Snapdragon 855+

Emphasis on "somewhat". For a middle range android phone nowadays, an AMOLED display with 400+ ppi is a must. Also, OnePlus' dealbreaker is their camera (Nord has OIS while X3 has EIS). One of the strongest standpoints of the Nord is the "stolen" camera from their own flagship.
Realme x3 is so much better! This oneplus not woth the hype. ✌️

Just an adapter/connector will just do fine. I'm using a OnePlus 7. I have a wireless realme buds (BT), wired(3.5mm jack) & a 1+ type c earphones. The 3.5mm jack with connector will work wonders if the earphones are premium... Wireless is the future!

I've just picked up a cheap, brand new Nord. Literally as a stop gap until i can get something better in a month. The only issue is i actually love this phone now. I wasn't expecting much bar swearing at it for being slow and lacking features for a month. Now though, now I'm thinking of keeping it and just saving the money.
It's a really good phone, i paid cheap and was expecting cheap. But really, I've been proven wrong.
The fingerprint sensor is probably the best I've ever seen. Coming from a pixel 7 (left on the roof of a car, forgot it was there, phone went bouncing along the road behind me) which regularly failed on the fingerprint scanner, i haven't had to use the back up pin once.
Brilliant phone and would highly recommend!

@Dr Monkas I have a tablet without one and had to buy a seperate pair of headphones that won't work well all the time on my phone amd laptop, doesn't fit at other people's phone, laptop or tablet (yeah, I share headphones with close family and friends). Now I know what a hell it is and I refuse to buy a phone without a jack. People just don't realise it is only to make money for wireless headphones and I am not gonna sponser that (and throw away my spare headphones).
Midrangers do have them, except for a few one's that are really stupid because most of the time people with cheaper phones don't wanna spend (1)50 euro's on wireless headphones anyways.
Complete flagships are hard to find nowadays, I found like 2 (Sony Xperia 1 ii and LG V60).

We have earphones with the usb-c cable jack here. Inconvenient when you're charging, but it's a way to get around.

I still use the one plus6t and might be upgrading in a years time. My o6t is still so fast and reliable. Its crazy how good they are and smooth

Just get the oneplus 6. I think it is better overall. Cheaper, better processer and a headphonejack. It loses on the camara, but the camara is still pretty good in the oneplus 6.

This isn't particularly groundbreaking in 2020 though. Pixel 3a did this trick very well at a similar price point, and I believe was the first to take the chance with consumers paying less for a top mid-range with a fantastic pictures (let's not get into Google's emphasis on software vs hardware- the end result is excellent). Apple has done the trick with the SE. There are rumors of Google considering it for the upcoming Pixel 5.
That being said, it's always refreshing to see a video that doesn't slam a device for not having the latest features without seeing the big picture
