Pepsi in the UK has cherry max as well. Also a max caffeine free version
Can confirm the cherry Max. Buy it semi regularly as I think it's great. Though I do agree with the comedian Ed Gamble who said it is very filling, perhaps moreso than a normal Pepsi Max or Coke Zero
they also have large cans of pepsi max the same size as the nitro
and Lime Max too!

They have a zero sugar cherry pepsi drink in the USA too so thats not an exclusive.

I often wonder what part of the UK Harry lives in as he frequently seems to have trouble buying UK products that I can buy easily in almost any supermarket and often in local shops too. Pepsi Max Cherry, Raspberry and Lime seem to be very widely available around Yorkshire and I've never had a problem finding any of them. Pepsi Max Ginger isn't as common but does still seem to pop up now and again but I suspect it's been discontinued as it's becoming less common.

Tbf the lime sells out all the time at my supermarket, I put a pack of 8 on the shelf the other day and they were gone within an hour (Morrisons aldershot for context)
Here in Brazil we have a whopping variety of 3 Pepsi flavors. The other two are Twist and Black. Current Pepsi Twist is zero-sugar with lime squeeze, there used to be a sugar variant but was phased out some time after. Black is basically Max, and it's relatively recent, being introduced here only a couple of years ago. I just wish we had more variety like the rest of the world

Many years ago my husband confused a waitress in Las Vegas by asking for a “gin and lemonade”. I managed to tell her he meant Sprite.
i worked in the syrup production room at a local fountain beverage company, and i sampled a little of the plain high fructose corn syrup.......yea, it gives a sharp bite on the sweetness factor.
I got my hands on Crystal Pepsi about 5 years ago when they rereleased it. I was excited and bought it as soon as I saw it. It tasted like sugar in carbonated water and little else.

Sparkling water is not for everyone, but it is funny that grapefruit was the least favorite flavor. It is my personal favorite next to blackberry.
I prefer more tropical flavors like lime, mango, pineapple. You name it.
Right I was heartbroken because I love bubbly lol
grapefruit is always my go to flavor for anything unsweetened, I just find it works for that kind of drink

Bubly is aromatic. It’s actually supposed to just taste like carbonated water with a slight scent of the flavors. I actually love them
The Japanese Pepsi's are amazing. More bubbly, seasonal variants, the midnight blackcurrant flavour was sublime.

Used to be my favourite, drunk it too much and it eventually gave me headaches for some reason
I'm guessing the Americans have a cherry Pepsi Zero Sugar, hence why it wasn't featured as an exclusive

I like it how Harry measures the items in grams and millilitres and Joe measured the items by ounces and fluid ounces. I just love it, it just tells you different ways of measuring groceries and lots of other things. And also in the US you have way more portion sizes of Pepsi compared to here in the UK. You have seven compared to our four. Also, the ingredients are basically just corn syrup and chemicals in it and in the UK we have basic ingredients. No idea if I’m wrong but sorry if I am. I’m wished I lived in the US to be honest because your portion sizes and exclusives are nothing but spectacular. Food Wars is the best!!! ❤❤

About the Sodastream syrup, it has cola flavor but tastes in my more or less humble opinion much closer to the inexpensive cola drinks, the super market offers under the own name.
I made the experience, that overdose tastes a bit better than underdose, but I would add fresh lemon juice, so it's a bit like the lemon piece in the glass.
When I want cherry cola taste, I take some of the Sodastream cherry syrup.
About the syrup bottle envelope, when you carefully break it, it doesn't look so fuzzy.
Actually, you can also get the 3L Pepsi in America but don't expect to find it just anywhere, as it's not offered by alot of stores that only sell the two main sizes of every kind of soda/pop.
They sell 3L in NYC when I lived there
They share one thing though- that horribly oversimplified logo. Bring back the early 00s logo Pepsi!!

I got to try Crystal Pepsi when I went to America as a kid and I was amazed at how it could be clear but taste exactly like Pepsi!

It didn't taste the same. It was missing the caramel flavoring, which makes Pepsi dark, IIRC. I did like it, however.
I literally loved crystal pepsi. My momma loved it as well

Pepsi is normally clear they just add food coloring
I definitely prefer the taste of Crystal Pepsi
It feels less acidic and because it has more sodium it also has a sharper taste
When I was Canada for a period of time, I remember trying bubbly and I actually loved it.
Random facts: HFCS is most definitely worse than sugar, although not by a wide margin. It is 55% fructose, thus harder to metabolize due to the fact that only the liver can process fructose and it causes more weight gain because of the imbalance of sugar types. Also, New Coke/Coke II is still available-as Sam's cola (Wal-Mart). They bought the recipe from Coke after it was discontinued around 1991 and it's almost identical, albeit slightly watered down.
Refined sugar is one of the major causes of cancer.

Sucrose is 50% fructose so it won't really make a significant difference.

For drink sizes in the UK we also have a small 250ml can, at least for Pepsi Max (source: drinking one right now)
I find they sell those in alcohol section as mixers

I prefer Pepsi Max to regular, but Pepsi Max Cherry is my favourite. I've tried Pepsi Max Raspberry and that was possibly the worst soft drink I've ever tasted.

In Spain I've seen multiple bottles that are not mentioned in this video, such as the 333 ml one. I love that one and I buy it when there's stock of it because it has the same capacity as a regular can but can be sealed which comes really handy ngl

7up free is my favourite drink. Afterwards it's full sugar Pepsi if no 7up free is available at the cinema as i need sugar to focus not sleeping in the dark. Helped me during class without a distracting aftertaste. Plus I like lemon lime.
We used to have 3 liter soda bottles in the states. Pretty much phased it out by the late 90’s, early 2000’s.
Pepsi twist was amazing
Now with the Atlantic Canadian Pepsi Flavors. We have an entire list of Crush Sodas that are mainly manufactured here in Atlantic Canada, like Lime, Birch Beer and Pineapple. They show up in various other places, but those are the main 3.
You should do a food wars of uk vs us vs aus! Australia frequently in the products for food wars have a hybrid of the American and UK offerings as well as exclusive offerings!
I'd be curious to have one fly to the other place so they can try all the things, then they both fly to the other place and do the same.
Supposedly our food standards are much better than the yanks but I'd like to see people actually compare them

Oh wow. I completely forgot that they used to sell soda in 3 liter bottles when I was kid (back in the 80s in the US).
Can confirm Lime Pepsi Max exists, i get an 8 pack in ASDA every time i'm shopping there i swear. They also do 2lt bottles of Lime Pepsi Max

I prefer Pepsi max and love the cherry version. In the UK Costco do 8 2L bottles of either Pepsi/Diet or Max in packs strapped together for about £7.50. Can easily pay £2-3 for just one bottle these days so it’s much cheaper to buy in bulk. I’ve also seen the 3L Pepsi max bottles in B&M bargains
Recently, mango pepsi max made its way into UK stores, and I'll be honest, I love it. I'm not really much of a soft drinks person, but I could have mango pepsi quite regularly

I drink water/ Orange Juice and Beer! Thats it and feel great! I gave up soda 10 years ago along with caffeine and never looked back.. That be said loved the video brings back memories.

We have 150ml cans in the uk as well, those are used for making alcoholic drinks, you can find them in big Tesco’s
I used to drink them as a kid, didn’t know that was what they were for.
Tesco's own brand of coke is somewhere between Pepsi and Coke and is pretty much my preference, and it's way cheaper than proper Coke these days.

The daily allounces are different in the UK and US so the same amount of sugar is a different %. Pretty sure 36g of sugar is less than 72% RDA in UK.

The bit about pepsi having the largest navy is wrong they did have a agreement to get those ships but they changed the deal. For the USSR to make 2 big oil tankers and give them to pepsi but the USSR collapsed and it was abandoned. But if they did get the warships and subs it would not be enough to have the 6th largest navy

I'm in the US, and a HUGE fan of Pepsi Made With Real Sugar. Sadly, in my area, it hasn't been available since the start of the shutdown. I even called Pepsi's 800 # to beg for them to bring it back. I cannot wait for that day. During a recent visit to Las Vegas, it was available there.

Because american food in general has more sodium, so when americans are served something with "Normal" amounts of sodium they don't like it.

I remember when I was 14/15 I refused to drink water and only drank 3L bottles of soda. Seeing the massive Pepsi bottle reminded me of that lol.
For years I had maybe a glass of water a month, the rest was Pepsi then coke and at one point quite a lot of red bull.. Most of my teens was like this, I have no idea how I'm alive.

@@b_hav_6365 always been stick thin and I guess I was active enough to maintain a 6 pack I'd gained from working out as a preteen for a few years somehow, didn't eat a whole lot though, hate food. Alcohol's the only way I've gained any weight
@@b_hav_6365 I used to drink a 2l a day and was medically underweight, main reason for stopping was my dentist said i would lose all my teeth if i carried on. Now i drink only sugar free pop and a lot less of it
I used to drink regular Pepsi for years but switched to Pepsi Zero Sugar about 3-4 years ago. I drank a can of regular Pepsi for the first time in a while the other day and it actually tasted very strange to me. Not at all how I remembered it lol

In the UK you get 375ml bottles, we sell them where I work at the same price as the max and diet etc which takes into account the sugar tax

99 cent Only Stores, until recently, sold 3 liter bottles of Pepsi, as well as Shasta soda.
Recently Shasta has dropped to 2.5 liter bottles for 99 cents.
The 99 cent Only Store(s) also sell the Pepsi Max 2 liters for 99 cents (as well as cherry flavors).

In the us the soda shop variety also had a cherry one. Also for a short while last year I believe they brought back Pepsi blue.. which tasted exactly like it used to. Also also.. wild cherry Pepsi anyone?

One thing you pointed out which frustrates me massively is that we dont list our caffeine content in the uk unless its super high (like energy drinks).
When i was pregnant the nhs tells you dont have more than 200mg of caffeine per day but then nowhere actually discloses how much in stuff. I dont drink tea or coffee which meant i was probably fine, but chocolate also has it in, so essentially i just allowed myself one can of coke zero every so often as i knew i was unlikely to go over with this.
I wish more companies listed it honestly. There are more reasons other than pregnancy to try and restrict caffeine and i think it would be helpful for people to be able to make informed choices
Sparkling water is great for those of us that don’t enjoy sugary sodas. My kids absolutely love Bubly and it’s the only carbonated drink we buy in our house. I didn’t know it was owned by Pepsi though. I find Coke products far better than Pepsi normally. We do have the Pepsi and 7up soda stream bottles here in Canada as well.
Gatorade is way better then Powerade and Gatorade is owned by Pepsi

As far as sparkling water goes bubly is the most disgusting ones I’ve ever tried. LaCroix is so much better in my opinion. I stopped drinking soda for the most part and stick with sparkling water and now a normal soda tastes so over the top sweet and sugary.

Regular Pepsi in the UK needs to be redone. It's now disgusting now they've reduced the sugar content and are using sweetners

You can get so many more variety of pepsi and 7up in the uk. Also a lot of the us sizes you can get here as well.
