You guys should bring more Java flavors to Canada. Ive only ever seen Mean Bean and Swiss Chocolate. I love Mean Bean, but I want to try the other Java flavors.
Many stores that sell monster in the NL are going out of business bc of the delayed shipments. Supermarkets have also stopped selling. It would be such a shame to not be able to buy my favorite energy drink in the NL anymore.
The standard ones do come in multiple sizes in the UK. You can get 250ml (usually sold in bars for Jägerbombs) and they also do a "Mega Monster" which is the standard one but in the resealable 553ml can like the Ultra. Also, we used to have Lo-Carb and Rehab in the UK, but Lo-Carb was merged with Absolutely Zero/zero sugar, and Rehab was discontinued.
The age limit in the UK is 16. It was first introduced as recommended thing. But I believe it was around 2018/2019, a law was actually passed that stores are legally required to check the challenge 25 rule. Which means if an individual looks under 25 they must be asked for ID first. Though not all stores bother or care as most 16 year olds don't carry ID. My store does because if we fail to challenge ID, then we, as the workers, can be fined if caught failing to correctly apply challenge 25. I'm personally glad that this rule wasn't around when I was 16 because I was drinking energy drinks around the age of 14 XD
As a 19 year old in the UK who still doesn’t have any form of ID, and a full beard, I still get ID’d every time I try to get a monster and my disappointment is immeasurable every time lmfao
As an enthusiast of the Java Monster line, I'm highly jealous of the UK's Espresso line. I've only been able to find 3 of the US's Java flavors, I wonder if the others are limited time or only sold in certain stores or even certain states. My favorite's Loca Mocha, a pretty standard mocha flavor. There's also Mean Bean, which is vanilla- not bad, I'm just not big on vanilla coffee. Generally, you can find these at any store. The only other flavor I've been able to find, I only found at a single store, a 5 Below. It was a "nitro brew" black coffee flavor. Apparently nitro brewing = better texture, but I was too distracted by the horrendous taste of artificial sweeteners to notice. So much for "black coffee".
I love the espresso line here in the UK but they didn't seem to do it for long here. They were everywhere for a few months but I haven't seen them in stores for probably 6 months now. Not sure if they discontinued them or what the deal is.
Monster espresso taste like ass, it's just coffee but far worse and quite frankly lacks any good qualities of coffee. You can barely taste the coffee, what you can taste is oversweetened and watered down milk with just a hint of bitterness from a really bad coffee. The best coffee in the UK is either Arctic coffee if you have a sweet tooth or Jimmy's coffee, imo.
I've actually tracked down and tried almost all the US Monster flavors. I don't quite know why I like them. When I drink it, it's like I know it tastes like I'm drinking cleaning fluid, but I also kind of like it. I don't know, I love trying weird and odd flavored drinks. Energy drinks definitely have their own unique vibe.

I would still probably drink them if they didn't have caffeine because I legit like the taste, but I've tried to cut most sugary drinks out of my life so I only get them now and again. The caffeine helps me justify it because it does provide me some benefit, though caffeine doesn't affect me very much in lower doses because of both my height and weight. It isn't around 300mg that I get any sense of extra alertness. I always hated the term "energy" drink because they don't really give you energy. If anything, it's borrowing energy from later to feel more awake when you still have sleep grog.
They sell the 46 cans here in Ireland at Mr Price, I never knew they were limited but i remember them tasting really bad. They also had the espresso monster and it was really nice, sooooo smooth. Zero sugar is still my go to, nice and smooth flavour with no sugar.
I love almost all the Monster Energy drink. But best from my favourite is JUICY, Ultras and standards. But feel sad about Ultra Citron is now discontinued 😓
Harry said we only got 500ml original monster here in the UK but we have a mega original monster too at 550ml which i've only seen in Asda and Morrisons supermarkets 👍🏻
In Canada we have a good mix of both of these, almost all of them from America and a good number of them from the UK (I'm in BC so it might be different, but my friend who now lives in Ontario has the same flavours I have here)
They've had more of the flavors in a single day than I had in 3 full months. Here in India, we find a weird mix of both UK and US flavors, and I've tried almost all the flavors available, with maybe 5-8 cans left. My top 3 would be: 1)Monarch 2)Ultra Rosa 3)Pacific Punch

I just saw this video was uploaded. I am literally fan girling so hard right now. I was addicted to Monster back in high-school. I am literally not lying when i say I had at least 3 a day back then for about a year. And the only reason I did not pass 3 was because I heard you'd die of heart attack. I miss those days. I don't drink monster much anymore but when I do I go with the import 99% of the time the other percent is regular.

dollar trees have them + the espresso and ripper flavors because they had to be pulled from european markets since they had too much of some sweetener or chemical for them to pass regulations so they imported the excess that they had to the us, put plastic sleeves over the cans so then the nutrition facts and stuff would be in english, and then sold them to dollar tree. next time u get the lh44 drink, peel off the plastic sleeve and see for yourself. the nutrition facts + ingredients under the sleeve will be in danish lol

In Poland we have got recently the Reserve series! i can't find anywhere the White Pineapple but i did try already the Watermelon flavor! Also noticed they finally added the Zero Sugar and also the Super Fuel Blue Ice(will try them out if i can find one at stores, usually new flavors get sold out stupidly fast). In total there is 28 different monster flavors in Poland :)
My favourite monster lately is monster khaotic here in UK. It reminds me of like orange sherbert sort of taste . You can get American monsters in uk but these tend to be at independent shops that have imported them in as a alternative to buying from the Internet as such . So I was lucky enough to find a monster java Irish blend however been a import and any other imported flavours tend to be the price of around £3.99 where as monsters that are sold in UK as per normal are around £1.79 price so if ya lucky to have shop in ya area in uk and they do stock American flavours or even elsewhere I'd save up ya pennies cos it be considered a treat .
There has been a resealable "Mega Monster" in the UK for years now which is bigger than the standard sized can.. typically you'd find them in petrol stations but have seen them sold elsewhere too We used to get Java Monster and Monster Rehab too, I can't help but notice that the US's Exclusives aren't anywhere near as good as they used to be

That Rossi one (VR46) they couldn't get their hands on is actually one of my favourites. It's one of the slightly lighter ones a bit like the rehabs, and it's more refreshing and drinkable than a lot of Monster. Otherwise I tend to go for the Juiced options where I can - used to love Khaos but I think they stopped doing it.
I may be a year late here, but the khaos monster is available from spar (Scotland, not sure about rest of uk). In my experience it's not as popular, so it won't be available in every spar, but worth a look
As someone who loves drinking Monsters, despite not being 12 and living in a place where you can get only a few types of Monster, it's so sad to see how much they hate most of the Monsters, especially Joe

in the UK, you can also get the 553ml mega can of classic monster energy, same as the 553ml cans of monster ultra. both come with the rotating lids that can be re-closed once opened.
There is indeed a slightly smaller can of Monster than the 500ml, but ive only seen it in original flavour. There is a few more flavours in the UK too, if i remember right

my advice don't trust me there good but really addictive don't be like Kurt where your blood content has more caffine in it per 100ml then an energy drink
I miss the Ubermonster. It came in either a 500ml glass bottle or a 550ml can. It was brewed with malt sugars and was so much smoother and wasn't sickly sweet like your standard energy drink.

55 grams means there's almost as much sugar in one can of Monster as there is in one entire supermarket-brand Black Forest Gateau, of which there's approximately 60 grams.
I generally refer the Relentless brand, also owned by Monster. There is possibly more artificial sweetener in Monster, which makes it taste sweeter and smoother. The exception is Monster Assault (which has a camouflage design) which tastes like a cola, and is actually preferable to the CocaCola Energy drinks (which taste odd)
All my friends are monster drinkers but I have a really adverse reactions to it, so this was interesting to watch! I’ve had pipeline punch before and now I’m worried about the one time I had it haha
I drink two cans (my absolute limit or risk a migraine) of WHITE ZERO every work morning over a shitton of ice in a cup. I love the zero sugar peach & green can too. I'm planning to try the black cherry & apple eventually.
I love drinking monsters! We do have other sizes than what is shown we can find a small can 8.4oz and i have even seen 12oz cans. In the US at least the state I live in (Louisiana) I can find the Lewis Hamilton 44 here, I just had the Ripper one yesterday from the dollar store. We do have the espresso ones they are just rare to find usually a hole in the wall place would have them.

The US coffee ones are to actual coffee as a yoohoo is to chocolate milk. Looks similar but tastes vaguely slippery and overly sweet and salted.
In Poland we have got recently the Reserve series! i can't find anywhere the White Pineapple but i did try already the Watermelon flavor! Also noticed they finally added the Zero Sugar and also the Super Fuel Blue Ice(will try them out if i can find one at stores, usually new flavors get sold out stupidly fast). In total there is 28 different monster flavors in Poland :)
Fun fact: monster energy has been legally proven to be able to dissolve a dead mouse in under thirty days!
My favourite monster lately is monster khaotic here in UK. It reminds me of like orange sherbert sort of taste . You can get American monsters in uk but these tend to be at independent shops that have imported them in as a alternative to buying from the Internet as such . So I was lucky enough to find a monster java Irish blend however been a import and any other imported flavours tend to be the price of around £3.99 where as monsters that are sold in UK as per normal are around £1.79 price so if ya lucky to have shop in ya area in uk and they do stock American flavours or even elsewhere I'd save up ya pennies cos it be considered a treat .

There has been a resealable "Mega Monster" in the UK for years now which is bigger than the standard sized can.. typically you'd find them in petrol stations but have seen them sold elsewhere too
We used to get Java Monster and Monster Rehab too, I can't help but notice that the US's Exclusives aren't anywhere near as good as they used to be
Always been so jealous of all the exclusive flavours of these that they get in the US

Man, I felt really bad for you guys having to drink all that Monster.. Crap tastes like battery acid to me. Both you guys did better than I would have..
That Rossi one (VR46) they couldn't get their hands on is actually one of my favourites. It's one of the slightly lighter ones a bit like the rehabs, and it's more refreshing and drinkable than a lot of Monster. Otherwise I tend to go for the Juiced options where I can - used to love Khaos but I think they stopped doing it.

I may be a year late here, but the khaos monster is available from spar (Scotland, not sure about rest of uk). In my experience it's not as popular, so it won't be available in every spar, but worth a look

in the UK, you can also get the 553ml mega can of classic monster energy, same as the 553ml cans of monster ultra. both come with the rotating lids that can be re-closed once opened.
my convienience store across the road does it.

There is indeed a slightly smaller can of Monster than the 500ml, but ive only seen it in original flavour. There is a few more flavours in the UK too, if i remember right

The original does come in 3 sizes you can get multi packs with 440 ml (I work in retail and have had to fill them) and in some shops you can get one that's 550ml with a resealable lid

I miss the Ubermonster. It came in either a 500ml glass bottle or a 550ml can. It was brewed with malt sugars and was so much smoother and wasn't sickly sweet like your standard energy drink.

55 grams means there's almost as much sugar in one can of Monster as there is in one entire supermarket-brand Black Forest Gateau, of which there's approximately 60 grams.
The Mtn Dew next to me on my desk meanwhile has 44 grams in only 12 ounces

@@simonread8713 For me the caffeine content is far worse. I've had blackouts due to blood pressure spikes because of the huge amount.
I generally refer the Relentless brand, also owned by Monster. There is possibly more artificial sweetener in Monster, which makes it taste sweeter and smoother. The exception is Monster Assault (which has a camouflage design) which tastes like a cola, and is actually preferable to the CocaCola Energy drinks (which taste odd)

It actually really tastes like carbonated OJ, probably the best one to drink in the morning if that is your thing.

I like how the last Monster cans I drank were actually Lewis 44 and VR46 which I actually liked both of them lol.

I love drinking monsters! We do have other sizes than what is shown we can find a small can 8.4oz and i have even seen 12oz cans. In the US at least the state I live in (Louisiana) I can find the Lewis Hamilton 44 here, I just had the Ripper one yesterday from the dollar store. We do have the espresso ones they are just rare to find usually a hole in the wall place would have them.
