There is a story a few years ago about bees in Germany starting to produce honey that was bright green.
This worried people for awhile until it was discovered that the bees were being very clever and lazy and had discovered the M&M factory in Germany which had thrown out containers worth of M&Ms into a skip. The shells being almost pure sugar with dye that the bees had decided was easier to “harvest” than flowers. The bees produced honey in a range of bright colours and even black (a mix of blue, green & red?) The honey was very edible… Just a very startling colour.
Of course German Bees would engineer something new very typical German
idk why but this is so heart warming

I agree, I had never heard of the custom M&M's so I went to their website only to find that although they ship to a host of European countries which all have their own website, Canada does not have their own website and we cannot customise M&M's since they say that they do not ship to Canada. That is too bad too, I saw their products on America's site and I can picture some being great little add-on gifts to fill a gift bag.
Do you get lionbar in canada? I saw am episode of family guy recently and I think they don't get llionbar in the US. Its quite tasty and definetely a top 10 here in the UK

@@tt-ln4mcI mean I liked it as a novelty when I went to the London one, but it's just promoting sugar consumption for children. It's really not a good idea. America wouldn't care obviously but I do personally (originally from Britain).

Gotta agree with Harry about UK M&Ms world; it's huge but it's pretty much all chocolate m&ms. No other flavours and it's pretty dull to look around. At least the Lego store has some interesting displays.

Iirc the “share” size is just the king size re-packaged. A few years ago Mars said they were discontinuing king sizes of all their products to “help fight the obesity epidemic.” The share size showed up after this.
Scott might only be like 10 or 11 he might not remember everything be Kingsize then rebranded to Share size. Glad Hershey still has Kingsize…🤴

Occasionally in Dollar General stores, I've seen an Orange Vanilla M&M's, which is kind of like a Dreamsicle flavored M&M. It's really good (though I like Dreamsicles).

The M&M cookie bar here in the UK is one of my favourite lockdown snack finds. It's pretty great
I live in Pakistan. I was so curious about the hype behind pretzel M&Ms that I asked my friend living in the USA to sned a bag here with his travelling father. I was thoroughly disappointed; they taste like a hollower / emptier version of a peanut M&M.
He did also send the limited edition English Toffee Peanut flavor; it was infinitely better than the former. It tasted like the praline part of a praline ice-cream and smelled like the chocolate equivalent of potpourri.

It is funny because as a French, when I lived in the US I would bring home the flavors that were exclusive to the US, and now I live in the UK I bring them the chocolate bars haha 😄 Thanks Food Wars!

You CAN get the Birthday cake, Peanut Butter, Pretzel and other M&M’s in Britain but you’ll probably only find them places that sell import foods like American cereal. They always have a small selection and are quite heavily upsold but it is possible

Good point, I remember them doing price comparisons, but must've stopped because the price can vary from shop to shop even in its own respective country, whereas nutritional values and serving sizes etc. remain consistent through all stores!

M&M's seem to be branded and packaged in al kinds of arbitrary sizes that come and go randomly in Canada. I'm surprised it's this consistent.

Hey , love all your UK vs USA food wars videos, thanks for a quick carmine extraction demo; I studied it during my degree in college , add on fact :- red carmine was also used to colour lipsticks in ancient times
It's still used today, it's an extremely common colouring agent
The key lime pie m&ms that I picked up last Easter were fantastic.

I always used to go to the American store in my town and get birthday cake m&ms. They actually blew my mind when I was little - I thought they were STUNNING
The hazelnut m&m's chocolate bar is actually available in the big Tescos. Not just the m&m's world in London.
M&S garages have them too , strange they aren't everywhere .
In 2018 or 2019, m&m's came out with Thai peanut, and jalapeno versions. They were probably limited editions since I can't find them in stores anymore. They were both so good.
Thai Coconut Peanut - sounds delicious. They also had English Toffee ones. Don't think we ever got any over here...
Edit: Oh, the toffee ones are still around. Huh. Still haven't seen them here...

I think it's kind of funny how they record a complaint about the questionable personalities of the m&m mascots, and then they immediately change them.

They have just recently stopped serving M&M Preztels over the M&M Fudge Brownie here in Australia. I agree M&M Preztels are the best. And my favourite, I could easily dig and have no problems finishing a whole bag. Devastated you can't find them as as easily anymore. 😞

@@iqrakhalidzakariah4842 There are still many chains that they haven't done , some UK chains being Costa , Cafe Nero , Wagamama , Wrap it UP, other things like Cadbury , they can do other international comparisons such as Nestle , other American chains such as Baskin & Robbins. Restaurant chains such as Hard Rock Cafe , Bubba Gump shrimp. Also many USA fast food places are looking to expand into the UK ,

We do have the M&Ms crispy chocolate bar in the US, they are my Favorite. My cousin is a manager of the custom M&Ms program in the US, she will make sure you get a great product for your special event. She put her dogs on her wedding favors!

Salted caramel and caramel m&ms are different! The salted ones are a bit crunchy but the regular caramel ones aren't.

In the United States we do have Crispy M&Ms bars in certain candy stores or large grocery stores.
I got some crispy m&m’s, I’m sure I have had a uk snack that was waffle coated chocolate paste, with a sugar coating, but I can’t find it.
Nobody gets the pure chocolate version though, peanut is the default here.
I absolutely loved the peanut butter version, but they seem to have been limited edition, I currently have a bag of ‘brownie’ ones I’m looking forward to.

I used to go to the m&ms store in London all the time as a child, I remember always doing the ‘what colour are you think’ and that there was a bus. I think we only bought something once, white blue and red m&ms, for the British flag lol
