Roy Jones Jr. works out at the TKO Gym in Las Vegas on Monday, March 30 preparing for Bernard Hopkins in THE RIVALS which will take place on April 3, 2010 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas live on pay-per-view.
He looked so good in training for this fight but looked really bad (so did hopkins) in the fight. He was so gun shy. Its a shame all good things have to come to an end. Legend.
@RickAIBrooks I met Roy in Pensacola one time in one of our local gyms and he said the secret to finding the target better is to use your peripheral vision see past the target especially when hitting the double-end bag because our peripheral vision picks up moving targets faster than our Center vision and just relax and let your hands go

But i still refer to myself as a novice as I can never confidently call such match ups, styles make fights they say, but heart says Bernard, head can't call it.
What did Roy do from last week damn he looks like he turned up the training. I like the fact that he is working on putting his hands up after combos. He's going to be in shape better than the Lacy fight. I wonder how Hopkins looks because they don't show much on him. Footwork will play a role but Hop is 45 so Roy may not need much of it but still needs to give angles. If Hop doesn't stop Jones within 6 he might lose badly because I don't see Roy getting tired at all.

i pick roy as the winner of this fight.wen jones fought lacy,it didnt looklike he was tired at all,so i kno his trainin went really hwell.i just hope jones keeps his hands up and stays busy and use his speed,he can win this easily,but b-hop can still give him problems
