His voice was phenomenal....the most beautiful velvet angel soul voice....he was a musical genius....a Incredible brilliant songwriter...no one who even comes close to him till this day ....no one who sings live like him.
...no one who can ever cover his songs because it will never be as good.....this is suts a beautiful song....and i miss him like crazy.....over 11 days its 6 years he left us...and i still can't believe that he is not here anymore ....miss you my beautiful angel ❤️❤️❤️🥀🕯️🙏

Kissing a Fool was absolutely stunning. And it was a sneak peek into George’s ability to write arrange and produce in several different genres. His jazzy stuff was over the top ridiculously good. As he got older his voice aged like wine.
Yep, unlike most singers his voice didn’t falter. A true testament to his ability. He will definitely be missed.

This is the type of song you play at a jazzy, smoky, bar/lounge or a supper club at 4 or 5 in the morning when your heart is broken and you're mending the broken pieces.
I think that George has made his peace and is saying goodbye to his lover in this song.
George made himself a timeless standard/classic.

Also Pearl Jam Ten and REM Automatic for the People....late 80s early 90s definitely has some of the best music!!!

Great reaction guys, I love how indepth you go into the subject here. George was the big daddy of pop/soul/RnB, he definitely influenced and paved the way for every other white crossover artist that came after him, the Justin Timberlake's of this world, there are numerous. George worked with the very cream of Black music and he's the first white artist I can think of that was/is really loved by Black people. A trailblazer.
He was a trailblazer indeed! George was and still is amazing! I don’t think in todays musical world anyone will ever be able to rival him. George had such a beautiful velvety super controlled voice. He was also extremely handsome. Both men and women could never deny that this man was gorgeous. I think it takes a very solid secure man to say that another man is handsome or good looking.

I listen to George's music every single day, he's music is my religion. George once said that if you wanted to know more about him then listen to the lyrics to his songs. The man was a musical genius and a modern day poet 💜 if you haven't done so, watch the docu film that George made called A different Story. Deon Estus was also in an Rnb band Brainstorm in the early 80’s and toured with Marvin Gaye on his European tour before joining Wham. He then stayed with George throughout his solo career. Sadly passed away last year.
I know I’m commenting a lot, But you guys are so correct about his writing. It’s no joke! I guess the man didn’t win six Ivor Novello awards for songwriting for nothing. Elton John once said that he is regarded in Britain as sitting right up there with Paul McCartney for songwriting.

Hi Fellas, I appreciate hearing how George has affected you. You see, that's what I feel as a huge fan. But more than that George touches your heart & soul because he writes & sings directly from his heart & soul. You'll notice as you venture thru his career just how relatable George is. This is a big part of his magic. Talented, over the top, however, as a man, his start burns ever so much brighter. This would probably embrace him. George did have a loving and selfless heart. He helped a lot of people he didn't even know. George was only kind but humble! He looked at normal everyday people with pure & open hearts & just wanted to help them. He would ask that they keep It private & they did. He didn't want that feather in his cap for all to see his generosity. In fact, most of us didn't find out about this until his passing. I hope you catch some of his interviews when talking he was very honest, & deliberate in his answers. This also puts him in a class of his own. As far as his looks, when I saw him for the first time I thought to myself, he to beautiful, He must be an A**H***. Boy, was I wrong!!! I sure do hope you see him in concert, Talk about being imprest! That word doesn't even touch the surface! I believe most who have seen him would say He's the best performer I have ever seen! He truly is! Now I've never had the pleasure of seeing him live, but I most definitely feel as though I have. Whether listening in concert, a video, or just listening to his music he takes me away to another place & time. I learned so much from George, In fact, he's my Little Piece Of Heaven, as I say as I describe him. George keeps on getting me through some of my toughest times & celebrates the best. I can honestly say I've never met a man so beautiful inside & out that has affected me so profoundly. You'll find through the journey you about take with George when he sings YOU HAVE BEEN LOVED, you'll feel as though you have been. Enjoy my friends, hopefully, you get the great joy of knowing this man! My suggestion for you would be I'LL REMEMBER YOU, LIVE! If anything, this will hit your heart like an arrow through the heart. In one performance, He points to his audience as he finishes this song. Another is seeing him sing this with just a harpist! It's just unbelievable! LOL, My friends, will catch you on the flip side! I like this song so much and his jazzy feel. But it's didn't battled ''Father Figure'', the best song of the album and my favorite song of this album. So sensual, unique and haunting.
I kind of lean the other way. I slightly prefer the jazzy tone of this one, but you can’t go wrong with either song.
@@RewindReliveReview It's because it's so unique in this album, George cited himself ''Father Figure'' his most original sounding song of the ''Faith'' album. George experiment with Middle Eastern music in this song in many parts of the song (with the classic RnB), became the less accesible song of this album. My mom love so much ''Kissing a Fool'' since she hear so much in the AC radios.

Actually correct me if I’m wrong, but George was involved with a female when he left Wham. She was a backup singer of his. She couldn’t handle his stardom status and broke it off. Was her name Dee Dee? Deon Estes stayed with George many years. I always felt he was Wham’s third member. This is one of my favs of his.

George admitted in interviews that initially he felt he was bisexual and had a lot of sexual relationships with women. He said even long after he came out he found woman sexually attractive but did not connect emotionally. The first time he fell in love was with Anselmo Feleppa. He didn’t come to terms with fact he was gay y til he was 24 or 25 which again he mentions in interviews. He said he stopped sleeping with women because of AIDS at the time as he would have to tell them beforehand he was bisexual, which could spoil the moment. He had a 2 yr relationship with Kathy Jeung but they split at the end of 1988, by which time he accepted he was gay rather than bisexual.
Guys, you say the show is about the music, but you pause for WAY TOO LONG to talk, give the song a chance without such long interruptions.
I am sorry about the long pauses between the music. We are working on getting this shortened. I do apologize. We will get better.
