I stumbled on this channel from watching the BMW e90 videos. I've never been into Honda's (for the FWD layout) but I respect a good engine build video and an overall quality build. Also I respect that these Honda engines were always so bulletproof. I appreciate that you don't aim for the loud fart can exhaust sounds. And your build is really clean! Not like the typical Honda's you see around town that have been beaten into oblivion, understeered into curb's, have mix matched body kit pieces from the junkyard, and the loudest fart can imaginable. Keep it up!
I’ve Been following your content since the begging of this build and every time I get the notification a new vid dropped, its honestly like crack. Cannot wait to see it all done!
10:06 I felt that my man. I question my logic sometimes when I'm doing something that's 1000x harder by myself to only realize the 10mm I took off is on the other side...
I don’t follow any one on you tube but yo, I can watch this video all day long. About half way saved up for my build. Perfect video though ! Couldn’t ask for more
Man bro you've come a long way! She's going to be worth all the Blood, sweat and maybe tears! Great job bud. Wish i had your help on my Project Y49 Crx Si
It’s always better to put oil inside the oil pump before assembly. The reason is because once you start the engine, the oil pump isn’t going to be lubricated and will run dry.
Bro....🤣🤣 at 10:08 you start trying to shove the trans on with the motor swaying, I about spit everywhere laughing. Absolutely great video by the way! The little things are big. Really like the mic setup during install 👌
Mans rebuilt this without a fancy or expensive ratchet and tools. Just proves house easy Honda’s are to work with not like euros were you need special torx sockets and pliers for all the coolant lines good job
did you opt for boost by gear as well? I finished my turbo GSR build a little over a month ago (420whp 310wtq mustang dyno), but boost by gear was probably the best thing I invested in for the build, otherwise 1-3 are mostly useless at full power, if you didnt and that what you're experiencing now I'd highly recommend. loving the build! good to see someone else doing it 100% right
Wow I didn’t know howtobasic started by doing ASMR with car engines. It’s good to know he switched it up and doesn’t destroy stuff this time. I’d be sad if that was there case
Be sure you clean the paint off your block where the alternator bracket bolts to the block, and the alternator bracket as well and all alternator contact points. Your alternator is a very large and important ground. If not grounded correctly you will have endless electrical issues....
@@psk5746 aluminum rafiates heat very well. Thats why radiatirs are built from aluminum. Im 54. I worked for a race team as a young man back in the 80's. One of the first lessons I ever got was never paint an aluminum block or head. It puts an insulation blanket on the aluminum restricting the ability for the aluminum to radiate heat as well.
You should get an inch pound wrench with a dial, it’s super super useful when doing the stuff under 20ft lbs and a lot more accurate at those smaller specs
You mention the forged internals but said nothing about the deck. I have the CSS block. What is that you have done to the deck? and who assembled the bottom end for you?
So I'm new to this any help would be appreciated.. I have a b20z2 block pared with pr3-4 head boosted i was going to rebuild my block but people are screaming at me not to but to get a different block?? I was going to sleeve my b20z2 they say no get a ls block. What's your take .. I'm honestly only trying to make around 350hp .. head is semi built block has flat top pistons but stock other then that. I was going to have it completely rebuild, sleeved, apr studs and so on..
Who’s ready for the dyno numbers on Friday?! Leave your guesses below!

@@Fadedmane1 nice try lol
