I searched for this song because of the movie "Goon". I'd never heard it before I watched the movie.....but I LOVE it! Then, I find out it's from 1977 originally, which makes sense......because I've been saying forever that 1977 was the greatest year for music in my lifetime.
Hey Brother, I am born and breed on KSHE 95...listen online for the KSHE Klassics show on Sunday mornings from 8am to Noon (CST)...don't be swayed by the Klassics in the title.. they play awesome tunes from back in the days, not that redundant crap that a lot of classic rock stations drown out the airways with... Also on Sunday evenings 7pm - midnight, what KSHE calls "The 7th Day", they play entire albums of bands... its a little hit and miss sometimes but a Uriah Heep, Head East, or an old Pink Floyd album isn't uncommon... Hope you check it out and enjoy... Cheers!
I am surprised it wasn't a bigger hit than it was. You couldn't escape this song on St Louis radio stations during its run. Not just KSHE, but even the Top 40 stations played the heck out of this. And I never got tired of it.
I had the pleasure of seeing them in a small venue Christmas 1985. They came to CFB Lahr to play in the junior ranks bar. They rocked that place to an extremely excited group of soldiers.
come on 4kq give this song a run.........the fans are tired of listening to the same old songs day after day.........cant wait to run my own radio sation in australia..........this song will definitely get a run.
i like this song too,but can you really stack it up against 10 years gone, kashmir, when the levee breaks, dazed and confused or since i been loving you? lets be honest ,lol
@humbledb4jesus ......hows it going bro...........still loving jesus.........that strange gossip about the chilliwack jesus revival concert in '77 has been posted on-line................go to "enya the memory of trees runner157" you-tube site and press "see all" to find the 3 hidden comments. regards.
Chilliwack frontman Bill Hendedson produced an early Jr. Gone Wild record. They pay homage to him with a cover of Fly By Night that Bill also plays on. Check it out! th-cam.com/video/g-dBm8QAAlU/w-d-xo.html
I love this, but I don't think Dreams, Dreams, Dreams is their best record. That honour goes to Disc 1 of their self-titled album from 1971 that includes Lonesome Mary.
Fly!❤2024...
I had completely forgotten about this song till I watched the movie "Goon" then I just had to have it.
Growing up in Canada we heard this song and band all the time.....great stuff.
be proud man great song great country
All the Jukeboxes had Chilliwack in them.
Radio rotation was also high.
And I'm just now discovering them at 27. I've clearly been missing out.
This entire album is THE very best they have done, period! They hit the mark full speed and they hit the target...bloody awesome!!!
100% agree!
Awesome! 2024❤

Great song....can't wait for Goon 2!
mandalorian233 Goon 2 was pretty good
The first one is better to be honest, that second film didn’t really live up to what made the first film awesome.
Listening to this song brings back alot of great memories! :)

Stupendous rock by guitar heroes. Give it up for Chilliwack!!
