I understand that but the script and direction make it sound like they took that away from her. As though she didn't get the choice and that's what makes her a monster. They don't talk about her sterility will always mark her as an assassin. They focus on the fact that neither of them can have a family together, which means they are monsters. It's written as though it's the cause, not the symptom of what makes them monsters.

The latter got some of her training from Wolverine when he was in Russia. Ben Grimm was a US Army pilot during this time when he met Wolverine.

I think it was clunky how it was explained in Age of Ultron, But Black Widow thinking she is a Monster was the whole reason she had no problem sacrificing herself. The fact she had little value in herself is why things fell as they did in Endgame.

Most writers since the 90s have butchered or destroyed or completely not understood Talia's character. Talia would never rape Batman/Bruce. It is completely against her character to even do such a thing let alone to do it to Bruce. Nor would she put a bounty on her own son's life. Not only was Hulk-Widow poorly conceived and incredibly forced, it was just pointless... I don't know of a single person who liked it or thought it was a good idea. Just as frustrating was the fact that the MCU introduced a character who used her sex appeal as a tool and a weapon, was trained specifically to do exactly that and then cast one of the sexiest actresses alive... only to do absolutely none of it. You get a half-second of doe-eyed naivete at the beginning of the Avengers and some brother-sister level flirting in Winter Soldier but other than that she's a G-rated KGB expert in seduction and assassination who never once does either of those things. I get the unwillingness to engage in gratuitous sex (or in this case gratuitous sex appeal which I guess is also equally 'evil'), but can we at least get on board with a master of seduction maybe, I don't know... SEDUCING someone once in a while?

Not only was Hulk-Widow poorly conceived and incredibly forced, it was just pointless... I don't know of a single person who liked it or thought it was a good idea. Just as frustrating was the fact that the MCU introduced a character who used her sex appeal as a tool and a weapon, was trained specifically to do exactly that and then cast one of the sexiest actresses alive... only to do absolutely none of it. You get a half-second of doe-eyed naivete at the beginning of the Avengers and some brother-sister level flirting in Winter Soldier but other than that she's a G-rated KGB expert in seduction and assassination who never once does either of those things. I get the unwillingness to engage in gratuitous sex (or in this case gratuitous sex appeal which I guess is also equally 'evil'), but can we at least get on board with a master of seduction maybe, I don't know... SEDUCING someone once in a while?
