@@shadizersilverhand2113 This was one of the reasons why Garfield's Spiderman was, in some ways, much better than McGuire's -- McGuire is a far better actor, but the FX work had him actually looking like Spidey in the fight scenes -- e.g., shooting a web through Lizard's legs, pulling himself through, and then scampering up his back, all the while quipping wisecracks. The latter was better writing for Garfield and set a lighter tone that was more "Spidey"-like, even though Spidey has dark undertones, as well. These two things made Garfield's Spiderman not so much "better", as "closer to the comics", and better on at least some levels. I think the Spideyverse movies are, by far, the best, however.

I think people misunderstand why Spiderman stopping the train is number 1 for a lot of people. The truth is even thou its not the most amazing scene but it showed what a hero really is, they fight super villains but their true purpose is saving lives. Tobey Maguires spiderman in this scene was still fighting Doc Ock but stopped because many people would die even though he needed all his strength to continue the fight essentially giving up the victory for the lives of civilians. The only other scene I would put with this one was his fight on the bridge with Green Goblin when he just had to hang on for dear life saving MJ and a bus of kids while GG was still trying to kill him. Personally I prefer his televised speech. When you think about the fact this movie took place in 2020, it has its parallels to today's society. Without the finger men and Adam Sutler, not everyone agrees with the government but there are people who do. Those who agree live blind lives, but those who see behind the scenes and sees what's really going on (however that reflection is interpreted to more modern events depending on the viewer), it was as if V for Vendetta foreshadowed the future.

Captain America taking down the Lemuria Star and Batroc's crew is one of my favorite scenes in any superhero movie. And Superman's first flight in Man of Steel gave me goosebumps! ❤
V is a riff on an iconic Bonfire Night character in Britain, and everyone knew who he was and what he meant. When I were a lad, anyone could wear a grey pasteboard (papier mache) mask of him; they were available anywhere in late October. This was on of the the points of the comic. People sometimes get locked up for wearing a Guy Fawkes mask today, unfortunately.
Thank God there are a ton more, but I’ll throw in three: Logan’s adventures in babysitting from “X2”. Magneto giving Shaw a penny through his thoughts in “First Class”. Hit Girl cancelling the Mob’s Live Stream in “Kick Ass”.
Not a chance. Raimi's Spider-Man had better fights For example in Spider-Man 1: Green Goblin hits Peter with a cross, liver punch, knee, crescent kick, and even a flying kick. It all looks real and is extremely impactful the way it's shot.
@@jimbeam2299I love raimi spiderman too but that's just ridiculous. The warehouse scene is the best hand to hand combat scene in all of superhero films.
There's certainly numerous other scenes that could make this list. But the Batman scene against Lex Luthors goons is the best action scene DC has ever done in a film.
The scene which should have been here when batman asks superman do you bleed that was marvelous man too good or the batman climbs the prision in the dark knight
Great list! It's cool you gave some love to Christopher Reeve. If I were to add anything, it's the plane/shuttle sequence is Superman Returns. You feel the stakes, but you also know he'll save everyone. He's confident, but not cocky. Like the Spider-man 2 train scene, this one is one of those "This is just *who* the character is" moments.
Quicksilver will always be my favorite marvel character 1 died 1 is gone And 1 turns out to be some random dude named ralph boner Hopefully deadpool 3 and/or secret wars will change that
I have a good feeling they’ll figure it out in Deadpool 3. I’m honestly stoked for that movie, and I’m admittedly not a huge superhero fan. Just never been my thing, but seeing the worlds get tied together is going to be outstanding, and it’ll draw me to the theaters for the first time in 12 years.
I sometimes have trouble finding a favorite of anything, but Wolverine has always been my favorite mutant since I was a kid. I am glad Hugh did such a good job at the role despite being a tad bit taller than Logan should be LOL
Superman doesn't turn back time, he travels backwards through time by circumnavigating the Earth faster than light. It used to be believed that this was possible but soon it was felt that a larger gravity well would be needed and that's why they use the sun to do the same thing in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
This is indeed the only theory that can hold any weight. ..And then he spins the planet the other way to get the planet going the right way again. Dammit, Superman.
Ummm.... no. If he simply surpassed light speed and time traveled there would have been no need to fly back the OTHER way and set the Earth spinning in the proper direction. No, the movie was made in a time no one bothered to consult actual experts for film plots and stupid shit like this happened all the time.
It's fun how when batman says he is the shadows, he's saying that he's the boogeyman. The fear of what you can't see. The fear of the unknown. It shows how even thought batman cant be everywhere, his image and reputation can
# 15 I long a lot of crap about the "Superman reversed time" scene. What so sells it is the minutes before. He gives his best, his fullest, his all to erve and save people, and the one woman he loves he...has FAILED? The tenderness as he carefully pulls her from the car. Ten the transformation from tormented tears to the scream of anguish and the pure rage on his face, refusing to let *this* death happen. At 63 y.o., it stills makes me tear up b/c Reeves makes it so real!
I personally feel like Ryan Reynolds 1st portrayal of Deadpool in human form was still cannon. That is Wade in his days as a mercenary, which further cements his skills before he got the powers. That specific scene of him spinning the swords, i count as cannon. The deadpool we got from that version, is not cannon. It also explains his history with Wolverine, and later obsession. Edit: that version of Wade Wilson still had gifted genetics, which allowed him to push beyond normal limits.
Love this! Thanks for the video :D I will address a plot hole you call out at 20:40, regarding Thanos' strength. There is actually great explanations for the power level differences amongst the fan community. And it does actually make a lot of sense, which I thought you might appreciate: It all comes down to the infinity stones, and how they affect the wearer. They are incredibly powerful magical artifacts, claiming a physical toll over whoever is carrying them. The more stones you carry the more magical powers you'll have, but the weaker you are - physically. And this makes sense, right? Now, you don't need to read further, and can just insert this into whatever power level plot hole you can think of, it generally explains it :) Examples: For all the past and early encounters with Thanos, he is carrying at least 2 stones. In the big fight against Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Spider Man, Mantis and Starlord in Infinity War, he is carrying 5. So much weaker physically, to the point that he bleeds, but magically strong enough to go up against Doctor Strange, which he does. In endgame, and in the scene you are showing at 20:40, Thanos has no infinity stones. He's at his peak physical strength, in a way he has never been portraited yet in the movies at this point, a type of strength that goes perfectly against our own raw strength-type of heroes, such as Iron Man, Cap and Thor. Another "plot hole" example that isn't really a plot hole: In the end of Infinity War when he has all but 1 stone, there is the scene where is slowly walks over all our heroes to get to Vision, handling everyone with easy using magic. Even besting the magical and infinity stone-infused Wanda. In Endgame, carrying 0 stones during the big final battle, Wanda is more or less about to end the saga by tearing him apart with magic, which he can't deal with with raw strength alone. Saved only by "Rain fire" and huge sacrifices to his own army.
The train scene was f-ing phenomenal. I will always remeber the line "He's just a kid..no older than my son." It gets me everytime. It really underscored what it meant to be a hero, to be willing to sacrifice everything give everything just because its the right thing to do. "because with great power comes great responsibility". That and the realization that he's unmasked and putting his family in danger once again, but able to trust in the goodness of his fellow everyman New Yorker because we're all in this together. Both poignant and uplifting.
I actually agree with a majority of this list. That Spider-Man 2 scene is absolutely deserving as the top spot. It’s not just ‘badass’, the two kids telling Peter that they won’t reveal his identity is just outstanding. I personally liked Pattinsons Batman, and I’ve never known why it got so much hate, it’s my favorite Batman movie after Bale’s Dark Knight (which is a literal masterpiece) and that’s a huge accolade. The scene shown here from the movie is PERFECT. The old muscle car as the Bat Mobile, the pouring rain, the upside down shot of him walking as a slower version of “Something In The Way” playing in the background - it’s all spot f*cking on.
My latest fave is in No Way Home after the three got their act together. That part where they swing in and land in the different poses should be a poster.
Hitgirl's hallway scene (to Bad Reputation) from Kick Ass was a missed opportunity. The choices were good, though. Maybe it'll make it into a future edition?
i´m happy that the best superhero movies of all time (watchmen, logan, deadpool) all got mentioned here, thanks! and the batman, xmens quicksilver etc were all also good choices that i would have picked too :)
Tom holland Spiderman when he uses his spidy sense to fight mysterio at the end. One of the best spidy sense moments ever. Also man of steel when he fights the trio in his hometown. But there should be another part after the flash movie comes out. Theres bound to be a few scenes to pick from.... (Fingers crossed) lol
I get not wanting to include two Quicksilver super-speed scenes on the list, but I think him evacuating the X Mansion in X-Men: Apocalypse should've made the cut. It was not a good movie, but it did manage one excellent scene. I'm also a bit disappointed the Strange v Strange fight in Multiverse of Madness didn't make the list. That movie had its ups and downs, and that part was a major up. And while it doesn't really count as a 'superhero' movie, I'd like to give an honorary mention to... well, basically every fight scene in the original Pacific Rim, but especially Gypsy riding to the rescue against Leatherback and Otachi. In a movie absolutely full of badass scenes, that one is easily my favorite. And I guess if we're bringing up not-superhero movies, I also have to mention the the first half of the Casa Cristo race in the Speed Racer movie. Again, the movie has badass action sequences (mainly race-related) for days, but that one takes the cake. I mean, where else are you going to see a dude jump his car into the air and punch another driver in the face? And as if that scene wasn't enough already, it's closely followed by Pops' epic beatdown of a ninja and subsequent delivery of the single greatest terrible pun of all time (Can you tell I love this movie? Because I fucking love this movie).
Wow you put my favorite as #1. That’s so awesome. That is , without a doubt, my favorite superhero movie. That soundtrack playing at that moment the passengers see his face, immense chills.
Not a bad list, and I especially like the inclusion of Nightcrawler's scene, but I don't know how you leave out Harley Quinn's escape scene in Suicide Squad.
For the most part, I have no problem with your list. The one exception is your pick of scenes from 1978's Superman. Maybe it's a throw back to seeing this movie in the theater during it's initial run (yes, I was a pre-teen back then), but the scene where Superman catches the helicopter and rescues Lois Lane still gives me chills. It is a vastly superior scene to the one you chose. The scene you chose (the turning back time scene) always seemed to me a cheesy solution to a story cul-de-sac where a writer went.
I mean...sort of....but you have to waste 4 hours of your life to watch that horribly disappointing version of the movie, during which time Cyborg still looks like crap, Wonder Woman's awesome guitar riff becomes some fu@$ing annoying as shit nonsense that plays way to often, the nonsense attempt to shoehorn Martian Manhunter in without actually having him do anything remotely useful...you know basically everything that was "added" or "improved".....
Deadpool isn't a superhero, never has been considered one. He is an anti hero, as he does good but he kills people to do that good. Batman was once a Anti hero til he started doing hero stuff with the JL
Dude!!! This list is practically point by point AGREE!! Especially with some of the old throw-backs and with the shout-out for Christopher Reeves! Quicksilver!!!! Cheers!!
No way you can leave out Batman climbing out of the pit in Dark Knight Rises………The scene and the musical score are some of the best ever and should definitely have been on this list.
I think Xmen 2's white house scene is the BEST action scene in history!! It's like a renaissance work of art from the music to the imagery, and picking 'Dies Irae' (Day of Wrath from Mozart's requiem mass) was spectacular foreshadowing!! I'm a little disappointed Nightcrawler's train fight scene in the new dark Phoenix wasn't in here. I think that one also showed his hidden talents in an amazing way, from snapping a guy's neck with his tail to slicing another guy's throat with it, and of course teleporting a woman outside the train only to disappear right in time for the train to hit her! All with a smile! 😈 It's such a change from his attitude in the cage fight with angel in apocalypse.
Excellent list! Here are a few honorable mentions: Superman II: Superman tricking Luthor into tricking the Kryptoniansxinto giving up their powers (even Luthor was impressed with that). Clark going back to the truck stop to deal with the bully. Batman (1989): The parade fight and the cathedral fight.
I actually loved Ben Affleck's Batman. It's nice to see the Dark Knight being vicious. Christian Bale's Batman catches you, you'll leave with lumps and a fractured bone. Ben Affleck's Batman catches you and you'll never walk again

Wolverine was actually a Canadian. He got his Adamantium skeleton in Canada. He was one of the 2 founding members of Alpha Flight. It was he and Vindicator who became Guardian and then died.
Spiderman's train of death always gets me. He risked his life for strangers and they are willing to do the same. I had a date and we saw it on the big. I had to turn my head and wipe the tears away. They got Peter Parker so right. Tender badass.
15:43 Hugh is the reason I keep going back and playing X-men Origins Wolverine. seeing him doing the voice dubbing for Login brought back so much of X-men Origins Wolverine game memories.
Not gonna finish video to avoid spoilers from movies I haven’t seen yet, but the office meeting scene from Shazam has to be in here even though it’s a villain, it deserves a spot.
Nahh that whole Captain America elevator sequence was one of the best movie sequences I’ve ever seen. Gives me goosebumps every time. Especially after he jumps out and he takes down the quinjet and flips off to the music….no comment

Whooooooo babay when You first see Colossus turn to steel, back then it was CRAZY
Brandon Lee in The Crow taking out a room full of people should have been included.
Great but not memorable enough.
The Batman choreography fight is simply the best IMO.
Not a chance. Raimi's Spider-Man had better fights
For example in Spider-Man 1: Green Goblin hits Peter with a cross, liver punch, knee, crescent kick, and even a flying kick. It all looks real and is extremely impactful the way it's shot.
@@jimbeam2299 the warehouse fight scene in Batman v Superman. Enough said.
@@edu-kt yes that's certainly one of the best superhero fights ever made
@@jimbeam2299I love raimi spiderman too but that's just ridiculous. The warehouse scene is the best hand to hand combat scene in all of superhero films.
@@zeromech1450 no it really isn't lol there are multiple moments that make no sense whatsoever
Rorschach definitely deserved that recognition. Good choice for #2!
28 minutes of pure awesomeness.
I didn't even noticed it was that long 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
When Superman says " Not impressed " after taking that Ax. That was totally bad azz
There's certainly numerous other scenes that could make this list. But the Batman scene against Lex Luthors goons is the best action scene DC has ever done in a film.
Nah...Justice League vs. Superman is better.
@@rayharvey1330which scene, which movie
@@josepabloaratajimenez5309 The DC Justice League (Live Action movie) when they revive dead Superman.
@@rayharvey1330 agreed! I loved that scene!
Quicksilver will always be my favorite marvel character
1 died
1 is gone
And 1 turns out to be some random dude named ralph boner
Hopefully deadpool 3 and/or secret wars will change that
Ha,ha! Boner.
Bohner. Hehe.
Love this! Thanks for the video :D
I will address a plot hole you call out at 20:40, regarding Thanos' strength.
There is actually great explanations for the power level differences amongst the fan community. And it does actually make a lot of sense, which I thought you might appreciate:
It all comes down to the infinity stones, and how they affect the wearer. They are incredibly powerful magical artifacts, claiming a physical toll over whoever is carrying them. The more stones you carry the more magical powers you'll have, but the weaker you are - physically. And this makes sense, right? Now, you don't need to read further, and can just insert this into whatever power level plot hole you can think of, it generally explains it :)
Examples:
For all the past and early encounters with Thanos, he is carrying at least 2 stones.
The intro should be on this list. Those transitions are smooth!
I would have included the HIT GIRL scene from Kick Ass 1. Also...Captain America + Winter Soldier vs Iron Man.
SWIIIIIIIITCH TO KRYPTONIIIIIIIITE!!!!
The scene of Natasha Romanov taking down Happy in the ring! Tony and Pepper's reaction were hilarious!
batman: i am the shadows
screen: turns black

OK. Smooth move. That scene from DoFP with Quicksilver is one of the best "Flash" type scenes done so far. I'll give you that one as pure badass.
My latest fave is in No Way Home after the three got their act together. That part where they swing in and land in the different poses should be a poster.
About the top 1, for a split second, I thought, "What the heck? That couldn't be number one"... but you are absolutely right. Awesome ranking.

Hitgirl's hallway scene (to Bad Reputation) from Kick Ass was a missed opportunity. The choices were good, though. Maybe it'll make it into a future edition?
This is the scene I thought of as well. Worth re-watching every year or so.
Definitely what I'd like to add too.
Also...Black Widows Hallway scene in Iron Man 1.
That’s my #1
i´m happy that the best superhero movies of all time (watchmen, logan, deadpool) all got mentioned here, thanks! and the batman, xmens quicksilver etc were all also good choices that i would have picked too :)
Im so happy you added Ghost Rider. Me personally Ghost Rider is my #1
I like the XMen mansion scene with Quicksilver saving everyone. Sweet dreams are made of this ..
Commentary is golden :D subbed
I would’ve added Black Panther or Winter Soldier to this list. Black Panther’s intro had me so hyped and his costume design was sick
i just want to applaud the intro of this video, the editing is spot on!
Can you do top 10 coolest scenes in X-men franchise?
“We won’t tell nobody, as they give him his mask back” 😢😮💨 powerful stuff my boy
What about Flash's moment from Snyder's cut :O
The music and the scene itself was a masterpiece
I mean...sort of....but you have to waste 4 hours of your life to watch that horribly disappointing version of the movie, during which time Cyborg still looks like crap, Wonder Woman's awesome guitar riff becomes some fu@$ing annoying as shit nonsense that plays way to often, the nonsense attempt to shoehorn Martian Manhunter in without actually having him do anything remotely useful...you know basically everything that was "added" or "improved".....
@@Astraeus.. huh
i'm just on about the scene bruv, no need for a full box office review of the movie
@@Astraeus.. you sound butthurt that there are people who actually like it. 😂
Robert Pattinson is an incredible joke, not to mention casting a sparkly vampire as the dark knight..
The 2 best superheroes are Canadian. Wolverine and Deadpool.
Also (well, half anyway) Superman.

Deshi basara
Andrew Garfield swinging back to face the Rhino after the heartbreak of losing Gwen Stacy should be here too.
Not having Batman saving Vicki Vale at the museum on this list is a CRIME!
Why would you change the music, it is such a big part of these scenes... infuriating.
Because copyright probably

Okay fine. Let me go watch these movies 😭😭you just made me miss all of them
La escena de la Mujer Maravilla es hermosa ❤
Excellent list! Here are a few honorable mentions:
Superman II:
Superman tricking Luthor into tricking the Kryptoniansxinto giving up their powers (even Luthor was impressed with that).
Clark going back to the truck stop to deal with the bully.
Batman (1989):
The parade fight and the cathedral fight.

I actually loved Ben Affleck's Batman. It's nice to see the Dark Knight being vicious. Christian Bale's Batman catches you, you'll leave with lumps and a fractured bone. Ben Affleck's Batman catches you and you'll never walk again
Superman saying not impressed was top notch
