They all looked good. Getting ready to spray can paint my 98 dodge truck 2500. Using gloss white rustoleum. Then clear with 2k. We will see how it goes.
ive used a spray can mixed at the local paint shop for a repair/bumper, but CANNOT imagine painting a car with spray cans! Especially rustoleum-type😬😬😬 But plenty of videos of people who do. I guess a lot of times its a lack of equipment and money. That's what Harbor Freight is for! Nice colors, I like that red. Might be nice on a Fox body mustang project car i'm trying to get

Quick question. Im fixing to do my own paint job on my motorcycle plastics using Rustoleum Acrylic Enamel spray paint. If I use SprayMax 2K Clear in a spray can over the Rustoleum I shouldn't have any compatibility issues correct? Not sure what brand of 2K Clear you used over Rustoleum but it looks amazing. Thought I would double check before I got to far into my project. Your videos are awesome by the way! Keep them coming!
Honestly I've never used the spraymax 2k. I've heard mixed reviews, some say it's good, some say once you activate it you have a very limited time to use the can before it's no good and then you have to throw it away. I used the OH MY clear from BuyCustomPaint.com over Rustoleum and I havent had any issues. There is a pint kit available, And honestly it's only a few dollar difference than what you are going to pay for a couple of cans of Spraymax. Either way, I hope it works out . Good luck with your project.
Great looking work. I am new here but let me ask you... i thought you was going to use those spray cans to paint with but you shot out a nice spray gun. What did you do open the cans and pour out the paint?
Grant7 hope all is well with you and your family....I have a question for you i ordered some of your clear and want to use it on a job I'm about to do... I'm re clearing some motorcycle parts which decals was added to the original clear I sanded the parts with 500 and wanted to know would it be a problem with this clear covering 500 grit sand scratches by the way the parts are black please respond as soon as you can looking to do this job in the next day or two ....thanks
Does the 2k clear help significantly reduce scratches? I notice if I just spray rustoleum it scratches easy. Hoping 2k clear will help tremendously as far as durability
@@DJimeku honestly i dont know anything about Rustoleum clear, ive never used it.. BUT, if it was mixed with a hardener, maybe you didnt add enough hardner.. or if its in a spray can, you can maybe put it outside in the sun to help it dry

The paint was sprayed with the spray can... i opened the can and used the spray gun just for the clear.....

I would suggest going over it with 600 grit and then re clearing it...

Yes 2k clear does offer more protection than the rustoleum alone. Rustoleum is a single stage....
@@Grant7 help... I just sprayed 2k clear over rustoleum but after 24 hrs it's still soft (if I put my finger nail to it, it will leave a mark).
