I like both the plane and Denise! Thanks for the video, and thanks for not putting stupid music in the background. It's nice hearing the motors and props.... and ugh, Denise too!
"Dogs will be jealous". God, I love the tonality of this video. You can feel the enthusiasm but also with a hint of "hey, this is a hobby, let's not be dead serious about anything". Good stuff!
Fighter variant of Mosquitoes were fitted with four 20 mm (0.79 in) Hispano cannon in the fuselage belly and four .303 (7.7 mm) Browning machine guns mounted in the nose. What a lovely aircraft design for it's time and circumstance.
the parkzone micro is a cute little thang, but those fly like tiny, light toy planes. This baby flies like a BIG FIGHTER, fast and agile, but they fly completely differently because they have weight- which I absoluely LOVE! It's more like flying a real fighter!
I happen to LOOOOVE this plane- always have. When they came out with it we got it in stock as fast as I could! We still have a few if you're interested!
it comes with a Transmitter, and it's my favorite inexpensive Transmitter, with an "expo" knob right on the front, for limiting the sensitivity of the sticks, and it works REALLY well!
@thx1103n we're doing more flight test and we'll figure out the CG. I think the biggest thing is the props, which flex. We're testing other props, too. We should end up with a 3000mAh 4 cell or 4000mAh 3 cell for 10 min flight times- also, CHECK PART 2- the crashproofing design REALLY works on this baby!!!
I found that out after we made the video- good time to learn stuff! I LOVE flying this baby, by the way. It feels more like a real plane than a toy, and that's the way I like 'em.
Hey steve, keep on doing what your doin man! Dean Glass is just jealous. I think your videos are the most fun to watch because i can tell you are genuinely just out having fun.
Having flying a lot of muti-motor airplanes in the past few years like B-17, B-25, P-38, A-10, F4, C47, f-14 among others your right about them being a bit heavier. My landings on my first few flights tended to be like yours. Gotta carry some speed into the landing. It nice to see you enjoy it so much.
@thx1103n- still trying to figure the tail heavy out, since the CF behind the wing only weighs 30g on a 1900g plane. It's more like my insistence on removing nose weight and replacing it with mo' battery- this plane has a BIG weight, only 1/4" back from the tip- you have to REALLY "battery up" to counter it, and I didn't put in the bigger battery yet (start small, go bigger) Also, they have the CG wrong- the tail drags when it's supposed to be right. I didn't fly the battery out- we use a timer
Bought one of these second hand, It has been modded to fly 2x2200 3s. I would appreciate if someone could tell me where the c of g is and the recommended rates and expo
@3801Catcher Ta-Daaaa! We have a winner! You're also right about the 20mm Cannons, in the belly (the HC Mosquito has firing ports for the 4 cannons, too- nice touch)
Hi! Nice video and a really handsome plane! ^^ I would like to know, where I could get that scale model and from which manufractor it is. Best regards!
It's definitely not too light- it turned out that the factory setting for the CG is wrong, and needs to be moved forward (meaning, more weight in the nose) When we corrected that and added the upgrade props, WHOA BABY! You can see it rocketing around in our newer Mosquito video here on youtube.
We ship to the UK- it's about $90 USD for this plane. We highly recommend Crashproofing- it works! I still have my Mosquito after doing some REALLY stupid things with it- several crashes, some of them bad, one REALLY bad- and barely any damage to the plane! Still looks great, flies great and works great!
@sbolandatutube We have some of those to try, I just never got around to it- we settled on 10 x 7 x 3 with the 4s, and it RIPS- you can see her ripping in the "maiden landing" vid- the quiet props in that vid are the 10x7x3 - I'm going to try those others to compare-Thanks!
Finally....Another guy with a sense of humor. I love the subtitles and your wife is great with a camera just like mine. Awesome flight for sure. I have a messershmidt and somewhat the same flight characteristics. Gotta fly 'em in. Nice video.. Doodbou1...
Exactly! Since the Mossie came first, that's the way it goes. There's a great vid on Yootoob of a flight in one taken from the cockpit. I want that guy's job!!
Sounds like you got the point! Fun is the object of playing with toys, I always thought (I love the way it says on the RC plane boxes "THIS IS NOT A TOY"- does that mean those guns really WORK?? Okay, I'll take one of those, too!)
Well - This is my new channel from now on - Luv the trick editing features done - Great Skill level in Real Time - vs me, 3.03 sec terminal dive. Glad it's just minor damage on the 3 grit beltsander - Cheers

@hawkeyesurfer Personally, I like this one better, but I could be the wrong person to ask, I've been in love with it since I saw "633 Squadron"- a super cheesy movie with OUTSTANDING footage of real Mosquitos! I also got to see one fly once at the 50th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy- QUITE impressive!! If you do want this baby, go for the upgrade props- they turn it into a ROCKET
Ive just found out how much the mosquito is, you were short changed, Ive given up any thought of getting one, ill never afford it but maybe one day ill be able to get a micro mini mosquito if the wind is in the right direction but enough of my medical conditions innit
the landing was from the effects of the bong tokes before Denise started filming. at least that's usually the effects they have on me I hate it when they just drove like that on landing. STI fun though. Steve you are the man
@GeneticallySuperior1 She was in the back display at Automated Wives Warehouse- just a little dusty. She even came with a camera attached! Look for The Lovely Denise model- I think they all have cameras, too.
Whatever man, After this video I went to Killerplanes, com and ordered one. So sometimes you sound a bit goofy but your honest and that's all that I wanted to know. I'll do business with you again anytime. Great Video. (And I did Order a Mosquito)

At high altitude, British and American forces used them for photo-recognizance because they were deemed to be the best platform by both. A really great model. A must for any collection. These were selling in the UK for around $300 last year. Shame about the tail heavy problem. Could it be the tail plane was set at the wrong angle? great plane and great replica, well done mate
Absolutely correct James & the cannons were 20mm Hispano.
Thanks for letting we know!!
@3801Catcher Ta-Daaaa! We have a winner! You're also right about the 20mm Cannons, in the belly (the HC Mosquito has firing ports for the 4 cannons, too- nice touch)
A beautiful RC replica of the DH-98 Mosquito .
0:44 they are .303 MG and the cannons are underneath the fuselage and they are Histano MkII 20mm cannons.
TFS " thanks for sharing" The wheel doors are the Mutts Nuts I love them :-)
Hi! Nice video and a really handsome plane! ^^ I would like to know, where I could get that scale model and from which manufractor it is. Best regards!

Get one while they last! In stock with upgraded Crashproofing at Killerplanes.
cannons are 20 mm hispano cannons with 4 303. cal (or 7.7mm) mg's
Any store in India from where we can buy.
Great review though :D love this plane too, I will soon be getting one.

Wow this is even nicer than the yet to be released Parkzone version and this is from 2011! Is it still for sale? Is it super hard to fly?
Hey! Yes, we still have some in stock. MUCH better foam than Parkzone, too, and truly difficult to break with the Crashproofing installed.
great video and great plane. :)
working flaps would be great on that plane to make it really scale

VERY cool! Now you need one so you can show the pals what it was like!
is electric or something?
Thanks! And you're going to love it!
WW11 version of the F14? You mean the F14 is a 1970s version off the Mossie!

how much and is it sold in britain???????
Sounds like you got the point! Fun is the object of playing with toys, I always thought (I love the way it says on the RC plane boxes "THIS IS NOT A TOY"- does that mean those guns really WORK?? Okay, I'll take one of those, too!)
Love that video. That was good and funny. Gretings from norway
Greetings from New York! I guess the humor translates- thanks!
@GeneticallySuperior1 Yes. Let's start with the first step- purchasing an RC plane (our steps are somewhat different...)
Well - This is my new channel from now on -
Luv the trick editing features done -
Great Skill level in Real Time - vs me, 3.03 sec terminal dive.
Glad it's just minor damage on the 3 grit beltsander -

Hi Steve, I've bought two of these birds with you. What propellers did you get to replace the stock ones? Thank you very much, Alberto Neto
I don't remember the brand offhand- I tested a bunch of props and ordered the ones I liked. We do have plenty of the stock props left, too
Ok good to know that!! Do you have a spinner replacement for this plane? Thank you very much and good flights my friend. :)
Loved 633 squadron when I was little, and I still love the real plane footage! Who WOULDN'T love the sound of twin Merlins?
twin merlins into the twin towers
Did he say six thirty three and not six three three sqd . Anyone who says without further adue knows they have gone on too long.

Dude your too cool but, the plane is AWWWWWWWWesome!!!
where do i buy this?
WHOA! Where do you live? I've only seen a real one ONCE, at a 50th Anniversary of D-Day airshow in Normandy- I still have video! WAY cool!
Where can I get one?
Just the way I have them mounted on my Rav4. Clears out the traffic like nobody’s business!
Actually seen the movie 633 squadron in 1965 in Christchurch NZ, they had a Merlin engine in the theater lobby from a Mosquito.
Woof! All of a sudden I need one of those. Gotta start hanging with Jay Leno...
We've got them in stock! GREAT plane!
We need more of Steve and Denise. I really miss you guys come fly for us 🇺🇸👍👍😎✌✌
