Looking forward to seeing the build video! As always , nice video !!
The build vid is well worth watching, thanks for it!
Nice flying as always. You make it look easy.
Nice flyin'! This is becoming one of my favorite warbirds, you make it look good, thanks for the vid!
Cheers!
Awesome. One of my favorovite planes ever and this model looks great. I want, I want, I want...
YeeHaa, I recently purchased this plane from MotionRC and have been waiting for the build notes......I fly from grass field so this plane was on my list of planes to research.....good to wait for my build to see what modifications can be made easily ......looking forward to the build video asap!!! Thanks for taking the time and energy creating the flight reveiws and build notes for us - TwistedGrin
Great video as always lads great flying plane ive the PZ Mosquito but still waiting to fly it weather been poor in England for a while.
Keep them coming.
It's nice to see that Freewing upgraded the landing. I have the same plane purchased about a year ago and it came with servo operated mechanical retracts and thin wire struts. Needless to say, they bent and broke easily. I am on my way over to MotionRC now to get some of the new strut goodness, my Mosquito has been grounded too long.
Paul, Thanks for watching! I hope to have the build video out in just a few days, stay tuned :) Spread the word, many have been waiting to see this Guide....
yes, on the Starmax F-18 flap install video, but it will probably be slightly different... however it is fairly similar
I've just started putting my Freewing Mossie together....your flight review and the build video are excellent! Sure makes the assembly a lot easier! I really am impressed with the quality....good money well spent! Thanks!
David Kew Didn't know you were interested...come over and check it out!
Wow, That guy is good on the controls, makes it look easy. That plane will do just about anything.
It lands well without them and in a fairly short distance, for some reason they did not install them at the factory. If I get enough requests, I may do a video on a flap installation:)
It is a QUANUM Telemetry unit, it gives real time battery voltage, amp usage, temperature.... its like having a gas gauge for your lipo:) you only get about 5 run time on the recomended 2200 pack in the mosquito, so I had to keep a close eye on the amp usage while flying this demo....
After a little research, it would seem I am behind the times concerning this bird. It has had these struts for awhile. Anyways, I bought a set of the retracts from the spare parts page for the Mosquito at MotionRC. I hope to be flying mine again soon!
Hey Rich, nice vid with good info. Very nice demo flight.
Any reason you haven't installed the flaps? I can see from the vid that it landed nicely
without them but for using a shorter, more restricted area, they may be necessary.
Thanks for taking the time.
Rob
Great demo. Question: What is the component mounted on your xmitter antenna?
I'm with Twisted. Looking forward to building this gorgeous bird properly. Too much controversy on the RCG forum. Ballast? burned out lights? etc. Just want to do it right.
Thanks !
Dave
Hey Rich, do you think you'll do a vid on flaps install for this warbird?
Might you have a video showing flaps installation on a different warbird?
Thanks, Rich. I was considering the PZ version, but no AFO (air frame only) version available, so I found the Freewing at Motion RC. They do have an AFO!
This thing is awesome stock!
How about a demo on installing flaps please?
Hey Rich, I am looking through the Freewing Mossie Manual, and there are no instruction regarding the control surfaces ( Aileron, Elevator, and rudder) regarding their travel settings, and I was hoping that might remember what your demo Mosquito's setting were...? I know this is undoubtedly ancient history for you... Thanks Jim M.
She sounds awesome great pass at 8:15 thumbs up what's the w span
1400mm
Which logo? RCInformer?
Dynomite!
Mike baltes...it has spars so no tacoing there.....great buy.
Any news on the build video ?
puting the finishing touches on it now....
I may, lots are asking for a video about it, however the plane does not really need them... i think that is way they did not install them.
I know it's a while ago but do you still fly this plane? I just watched a video of the actual development and use of this plane during WW 2
Actually i got it off the shelf just before Christmas thinking i might take it out again for another flight as its been a long time since the last flight-watch this space🙂
@@RCINFORMER it's an awesome looking plane. I really want it in my hanger one day
Foam plane, STEEL main spar, no Taco here! If you smoothly and progressively apply elevator inputs you can minimize the risk of breaking the plane.... Be Smooth....
Why have they gone steel over say aluminum? ....
Flybys are way too low guys...Looks much better at at least above head height....Otherwise good review.
Landing gear looks out of scale
Your going to taco that wing if you keep yanking the turns like that
Mork calling Awsome.....shut up!
