Your Yell cardigan looks beautiful! My list of Marie Wallin designs that I have to knit is growing ever longer. I'm actually working on the Chestnut cardigan right now. I was so chuffed to see it on the knitttingtraditions' podcast., and now yours. It's such a great design.
Love your podcast and sure wish it wasn't so long between visits, oh well. I have had Lunenburg in my favorites for eons. I just get confused with all the choices of projects out there to choose from with one more beautiful than the other. so you have nudged me over the edge to my next cast on. Might be cool to throw a little mohair into colorwork.
Love your work!! I enjoy learning about these lovely yarns. I can do crochet and so many times wonder if there is someone out there who knits and sells their lovely cardigans and sweaters. Thank you for your post with such a soothing voice. Peace and love!!
Hi Angela, do you know the website Etsy? There are a lot of knitters selling handknits there, I'm sure you could find sweaters there. Thanks for watching!
Your cardigan is just beautiful. Enjoy color work, except for the floats. 😁 I love linen quill yarn. I've made two of their throw kits. It's my favorite yarn.

A really relaxing podcast. Your knitting always amazes me. Would love to join you on that hike in the woods; the wild flowers are spectacular.
Glad I could "take you with me" on my walk xo
Hey nicole - im watching all ur videos again from the top, albeit from a different account. Im sending u love and warmth from aotearoa new zealand ❤❤
All so wonderful. Thank you Nicole.
Aww, thank you!
Your Yell cardigan looks beautiful! My list of Marie Wallin designs that I have to knit is growing ever longer. I'm actually working on the Chestnut cardigan right now. I was so chuffed to see it on the knitttingtraditions' podcast., and now yours. It's such a great design.
Ooh yes the Chestnut is such a gorgeous design! I too have a loooong Marie Wallin queue. xo
Love the colours you used on that beautiful sweater.
Thank you! 😊
Your yell cardigan is absolutely stunning!
thank you xo
Your talent is just amazing to me! I always enjoy your podcasts!
Thank you so much Deb!
Your Yell cardigan is stunning. Now I want to knit one. 😊
You should! xo
Thank you! Beautiful colorwork.
thanks Kim!
Sorry Claire to make you wait, but hopefully it's worth it. ;)
I always love the effect of mohair in colourwork, good idea!
Ooh a throw in Linen Quill sounds wonderful
@@thegentleknitter Throw took me a year in seed stitch, using 6 colors and using 2 different colors at one time. Could send you a photo, but only thru email or text. Have no Instagram or FB. 😁
I hope to see you at Rhinebeck, fibers crossed. Thanks for a lovely chat.
I would have loved that SO much, unfortunately it looks like the border will still be closed to Canadians by then, so I am having to cancel my plans. Fingers crossed for 2022!
Merci de partager tous tes coups de coeur! I am so inspired with every episode. Your Marie Wallen sweater is the most beautiful knitting piece I have ever seen. You nailed the color combinations. Bonnes vacances au Nouveau-Brunswick. Je t’écoute de Fredericton :-)
Ah merci Lise, ça me fait plaisir de savoir que j'ai des personnes qui regardent du NB. :)
I love the colors that you chose, I like the “faded” look of it too!
By and By you have a beautiful voice. 🤩
Oh thank you!
Enjoy your podcasts very much. Fleece and Harmony on Prince Edward Island have a great selection of Marie Wallin books and other British and European designers. The chestnut cardigan is tempting me too.
We were hoping to do a day trip to PEI, but ran out of time. Fleece and Harmony have lovely yarns!
Thank you for all the inspiration! I just had a similar hike here in Sweden. Knitting, spinning and hiking in beautiful nature. What more is there to wish for? 😊
I agree, Knitting, spinning and hiking is my idea of heaven!
Your shoe style is just like mine! I wear nothing but Birks in the summer and my Blundstones in the cooler months. Socks with Birkenstocks all year, of course. LOVE IT!
It's all about comfort, isn't it? xo
