    Manuel took the Noble Heritage counters the turn before he won with damage, so Andre should of had protection from Everything controlled by Manuel (he also kept the counters through the Eerie Interlude)

      Yeah he couldn’t have killed him that turn

      Indeed

      With livio on board he would've had enough mana to redo it next turn anyway so it didn't really matter

    The +40/+40 definitely killed everyone. For every game. Forever. Grats, you win EDH forever.

    Atraxa is extremely powerful, if one were to build a deck around her, not with her ;)

    • @TCG9777

      What? How?

    • @korvuskorax4170
      @korvuskorax4170 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TCG9777 Atraxa in itself presents a win condition, so stuff the deck with ramp, control pieces like counters and boardwipes, 1 Mana Flicker spells and clones. I tried it when she was new and I was forced to take it apart, my opponents couldn't keep up with the card advantage and I could never be meaningfully attacked while Atraxa was out.

      @@TCG9777 If I were to build atraxa, I'd build astral slide cycling. Getting multiple card types with cycling means you get a stupid amount of atraxa triggers by always flickering her, and winning from there is a breeze

      @@korvuskorax4170 could you provide a decklist of that build you made?
      i really want to build her in the esact same route you mentioned but i struggle to give the deck a balanced list.
      Thank you ;)

    Shorikai is a kill on sight commander ! Great game

    I've been interested in your Shorikai deck for a bit now, but I'm wondering if the deck itself has been tweaked at all. Reason I ask is looking at your linked Shorikai deck, you don't have an Azorius Signet listed and your opening hand had one. So I'm just curious what kind of tweaks you've made to your original list. But regardless love the content broski and always glad to see your videos on my feed!

    @MTGMuddstah hi a fellow shirokai player here and i would highly recommend not to swap out shirokai since he carries so much by himself however i noticed the lack of targeted removal protection( like bronze guardian , hannah's custody or monetary siege which will help less removal on your cars "vehicles" ) and protection against aggro decks (like propaganda , ghostly prison, crawlspace and grand arbiter which will help you survive till you reach your wincon) and creature based artifact tutor ((like trophy mage,trinket mage, treasure mage, deadeye quartermaster which will do double duty with their etb and crew you cars moving onward with the game also acting as chump blocks when needed ) also i would consider trying filter out since it's a great response to mass artifact removal if no counter magic is in hand ( didn't get my hands on one yet to test how effective it can be ) but i love your take on the deck and can't wait to see it win games since it is the precon that got me in magic in the first place

    I disagree about Atraxa. I think shes insane especially if you can flicker her.

    I’m wondering why you didn’t cast the signet off of the sol ring turn 1 to play your commander turn 2?

    • @dreadfulpopcorn
      @dreadfulpopcorn ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Probably because it's not too good to throw everything out early or you get focused out really quickly. If you get too far ahead early a lot of people will see you as a threat even if they remove your ramp.

      Yeah, dumping your hand turn one is suuuuper risky.
      Unless you have a way to keep up pressure, it's better to sandbag mana rocks for a turn or two

    • @fallsenseless9699
      @fallsenseless9699 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dumping your hand making you a threat is a valid reason but not for a vehicle deck lol when all your creatures have to be crewed to attack with you aren’t nearly as threatening. Also theres like 0 vehicles that are actually a threat so no real reason to not turn 2 shorikai

    Hey, great video as always! Say, what are the 7 cards next to the commander when you present the 4 Decks in the beginning of your videos?

    Disagree about Atraxa. Don’t use chaff but build with better card selection. She can be devastating as a commander effectively filling your hand and putting a giant threat down at the same time.

  • @jordanking4834
    @jordanking4834 ปีที่แล้ว

    On the fierce empath/ panharmonicon interaction, wouldn’t it be tutor, shuffle, top of library, repeat? So the first tutor would be shuffled away and you would be left with only one card tutored on top. Manuel shouldn’t have had avenger and apex devastator in hand.

    • @manuelromulo
      @manuelromulo ปีที่แล้ว

      With Fierce empath, the card goes to my hand. Unless, there is something that I am missing.

    I wonder why Omar didn't exile the Nighthawk Scavenger as well... the Protector's ETB doesn't target, so it gets around the sword's protection.

    The reason his Atraxa deck isn’t doing well is purely because he filled it with random garbage. Selfless glyphweaver? Marble diamond? Noble heritage? These cards don’t really make sense for an atraxa deck, which imo more so wants you to be playing control cards and ways to flicker her.
