That Atraxa deck has more value in the first four lands he plays than I do in all 6 of my commander decks
atraxa is a snoozefest and is like the most over rated commander
Have you thought of changing Shorikai to a tap/untap version that draws a lot of cards? I think you'll enjoy it more because it mulligans well and opens up multiple interesting lines of play since you can often dig for what you need or at least something fun to do (isn't that the point of EDH?). I am a devoted watcher of your content and love Shorikai but have noticed most of your games with them lack substantive Muddstah involvement. Please don't give up on it. The nice thing about Shorikai is you can make it casual or (lower tier) competitive. I don't favor the polymorph/proteus-staff version because the cEDH style isn't what I enjoy. However, counter-balance/libray-of-leng + loot does help Azorius win, though I would only put that out if you intend to do so soon; otherwise you'll have no friends. Loot up Approach x2 or construct for the mill win. They both have to be earned and I would love to see you do so.

I've wanted to build a shrine deck for a while and I've been slowly buying cards for Lonis as well. I'll parrot what you said and say that it's the first Simic deck in a while I've been interested in.
Eerie ultimatum is like a less restrictive version of primevals glorious rebirth. Usually if it resolves, there’s not much chance that player loses because it sets them so far ahead.
Lonis on the other hand, is a surprisingly powerful deck, i was able to build mine strong enough i Can actually sit down with cedh players (though mine is built to clone the manufactor and do shrieking Drake shenanigans)

He could be like me and just be old. I've been playing since right before revised so have a ton of stuff like that. Commander is the only time I get to use them. That being said they aren't in every deck and I do play a lot of mono white.

@LifeofMine well done! It's no ageism on my part I honestly have gotten tired of the amount of people who sneer at people who have old pricy cards. Nothing on OP it's more on some of the newer players I run into, it bleeds into online comments.

Mistake in narration, in the footage it’s clear that he played the blue go shintai, not his commander.
He mis-showed the card that was played. It was a different card that was actually cast

I was getting turn 3 shorikai wins yesterday in a 1v1 tournament. I would say it had a 75% win percentage and the few stores I play at absolutely know "that's the shorikai guy" be careful 😂. I just built the deck last month and now wanna take it apart because everyone is catching on.

Assuming Bryce's deck has no proxies, that deck has to be worth more than my car. All the OG duals, the most expensive prints of very good cards, most 80+ dollars. The cheapest thing is probably Atraxa.

fun fact about how Sanctum of All interacts with the new Go-Shintai, their effect is a reflexive trigger from paying their cost ("you may pay 1, when you do...") this means that each time you pay, you get two triggers of the effect, provided you have 6 shrines and Sanctum out
Meaning you can get 4 activations? Or that you get either 0 or 2 activations depending on if you pay
I don't think that's how it works. You get two triggers but you have to pay for each. Pretty sure you can see this on Arena too.
Lonis gangggggggggggg. I prefer the win with infinite clues/lonis/intruder alarm to get everyones' creatures.
Edit: Everyones' creatures, not libraries. But damn close.

Found it! The image is wrong. He casts Lost Wisdom, the blue Shrine creature. Not his commander as was displayed

mistake on the turn one Lonis because it only triggers when another creature enters
I believe he put the clue token on the table and when another creature entered, he put the die on 1.

A guy I was playing with last night was talking about a channel he watches for EDH games and there was a player who seems to just want to show off his dual lands. I knew exactly what he was talking about.
I'm sad that your Shorikai deck often doesn't do much in these videos. We've seen it go off before, but we also see it just sit there with one permanent on board and playing a land and passing

At least the Atraxa was on brand with every sweaty card possible. Happy it didn’t win. Force of Will? Give me a break. Also, nothing durdles quite like Shorikai outside of Simic. Love the channel but would really like to see fewer decks like that Atraxa pile. Any time I see ABUR duals I mentally check out a bit.

If you sat down at a table with that deck with me it would be fine ( though I might actually laugh if you Forced something and stare in shocked disbelief if it were mine) It’s just seeing it featured on a gameplay channel that made me roll my eyes and immediately root against it.
