A lot of players forget they can draw cards off an opposing Ludevic, simply by paying life or inflicting damage on themselves... Seb could've drawn a card the turn he played Temple Garden, for example.
The lack of removal/interaction this game, especially when dealing with genericgoodstuffdragons was disappointing because the outcome was notable from the start.....
Ah, dragons being dragons. It is sort of a shame that many cool effects are on dragon bodies, but the wins I tend to see result from snowballing from the usual same 2 or 3 ones. You did much better with your Shorikai, though. The looting effect is very useful.
I loved that unique partners deck, it seemed like a lot of fun. It’s a shame 5 colour good stuff won off one card, the new Jodah for me at least is sooo boring as it’s beyond good having a cascade for all legendary spells (while buffing creatures) is stupidly strong. None the less it was a good game to watch and even better seeing you not get mana screwed for once!
I know! I hate when he doesn't and cards are drawing themselves and floating around the board, tapping, untapping and attacking like they are alive. It's so eerie!
I love your shorikai list as vechicle deck but I've always found mindlink mech to be a just body that stays there for the most part. Wonder does wonders in the deck as a mean to get flying online for my mechs good game!
Somehow I always bump into it (probably because people ignore how good shorikai is) and get flyers all game. It's one of those cards I wouldnt dare remove from Shorikai.
@@joebob7483 Wonder and Currency converter are the best inclusions I'd suggest in any minor upgrades to the precon, plus running shorikai as the commander, the engine itself is too good to pass up
@@iceman1866 Hmm, currency converter is a good idea. I run Shorikai as commander, of course. Wonder is obvious. Manifold key and skullclamp work wonders in Shorikai too. You can draw EVEN MORE with those cheap artifacts. Also, I'm adding Urza, powerstone prodigy from the BRO set to generate extra mana income. Hi Mudstah! I’m thankful for your videos, it’s just become a thing to watch them when I eat my midnight snack! I was wondering why you have the Blackstaff of Waterdeep in your deck? Thanks!
Well when only two of the three opposing opponents are in enchantment removal colors what do you expect? Obviously they could have played some more bounce effects in blue but it would have only been a minor setback.
I mean if you are going to Build a cEDH deck with the intent on combo’s ASAP then yeah shorikai. But if your playing a casual game like this it’s just way better to build around Kotori

You must have watched a different game. There was quite a bit of interaction & removal in the game I watched.
What did we learn here?

I think messing with the mass polymorph is what allowed Jodah to start going off

Nobody did anything about Lurking Predators. Jeez it made me physical ill.

I'm currently building Jodah Transformers... I just need Goldbug and Slicer to complete it. 🤩
That sounds spicy. I'd be interested in seeing it.
