I was wondering if the Venture 30 works well on the nomad 3.5? I have used the guide 10 and small switch 8 chargers. I love my nomad 3.5 and accessories and travel/backpack a lot. Thanks Goal Zero!
Ive just purchased a Venture 30. It's not performing as stated in the manual in that it wont charge. Ive tried a soft reset but even this doesnt perform as per the manual. Please advise?
+soaronasoundwav Well that is unusual so lets get ya taken care of. Can you shoot us a quick email over at support@goalzero.com with this? We'll get ya taken care of quick so you can be back up and recharging soon!
I have buy it and i have it little more than a year....everything exept one problem that started before 2-3months before.....when i put it's cable at its normal position(stand by when i don't charge something or the battery) starts to charge itself!!!I mean that take out its power for to charge itself until runout of power!!!I cant find this possible problem in trubleshooting.....Can someone help??
I have both Venture 70 and 30! They are awesome! I also have the Yeti 150, and the Sherpa 100 with A/c. Awesome product's! I would Venture to suggest upgrading the Sherpa 100 and 50 series, ie, Lithium batteries, 2.4 USB.... Also, for the larger Yeti's, something In between the 1400 and the 3000, maybe a 2100 series!?... Good luck GoalZero, you guys are doing great work out there.
Great little product, just got mine the other day - very impressed by the ruggedness of the device. I would love to see the Sherpa 50 & 100 options in a rugged design like this - I have held off on purchasing the Sherpas because they are not as rugged as I need them to be - GZ please transform them. Currently I have the Yeti 400 with 4 15 watt solar panels, venture 30, 2 of the REI GZ camping kits - I'm ready to buy GZ when you redesign the Sherpas - but don't wait to long there's a lot of competition out there and you never know when A, B, or C will happen (time is of the essence). My needs consist of a device you can throw in a backpack and have options to charge handheld ham radios, GPS and other smaller devices with charging ports other then the USB or Micro USB. The V30 is great for everyday & camping uses such as phones or even laptops but falls short with charging options for other devices. What I would love to see is a similar device just as rugged with more storage power and more options to charge different devices. Pair it with the Nomad 20 and you have a winner - I know you can do it GZ! Thanks for your consideration -Anthony 2 Tim 1:7 acdainc.org
+Daniel Dombrowski its via the USB port. 3A on one USB and if you use both USB ports at the same time you can get a combined 4.8. Here is the info from our site. Two high-speed ports (4.8A) capable of dishing out the fastest charge possible, at the same time. Power two devices at once or share with a buddy. - hope that helps. Best!
you can still buy it no? I thought i saw it at REI the other day. I was just looking to get one. i wonder if i should wait for the next model- if there is going to be one.
I read the reviews on Amazon it got really bad reviews there's other companies out there that are competing with you they have a better product and cheaper you're over price with your product the reviews are really bad on it can't believe you come on TH-cam saying it's such a great product when it's not I go by product review and it has the worst reviews ever
