Dang, nice restoration. I think some custom SRG vinyl stickers would look nice on that bad boy. Also looks like it would dig out a nice garden if you need to test it more.
all it takes is 1 project to justify the purchase and effort (no matter how big or small) Love it! Gonna need to build a car port off the side of the garage just for the toys / accessories
Very nice job, I did the same thing. I found on old bobcat 907 fixed it up, changed some hoses and rebuild some cylinder's painted it. and remove the bobcat mounts. Welded mounts to fit the 1845 case. New stickers, your project turned out great.
Awesome great to hear it! Pretty handy attachment. I’ve put some hours on it since. The stabilizer seals are leaking but not enough to tear them apart yet
Those are ball mounts that fasten the attachment to the frame of the skidsteer, probably had it on an old 900 series machine, which by the way are great heavy duty work horses even by today's standards.
I'm impressed with your skills, I've been looking at the backhoe attachments myself, great job and keep us posted on those trees, I would do the same thing!
I don't know, this one has been messed with. Someone cut off whatever was supposed to be there and welded on some trailer couplers to fit something that is not a bobcat!
@@spankranchgarage Thanks, appreciate. Also thought they should be 3/8". The previous owner of the one I bought mixed all the hoses with 1/2" to the bucket, 3/8" to the boom and 1/4" to the dipper arm.
@@spankranchgarage basically the cover for the inside and the quick attach. It missing some pieces. I have a parts catalog coming to maybe help with that part
@@stevengumm8404 A thomas T133 is a very similar unit. Its probably 95% identical. The quick tatch is a skat design and it kind of sucks. Ill be upgrading mine to a better design eventually
@@spankranchgarage yeah thats mostly what I have been finding on here. But 90% of them are real short videos that don't show much. I was think about swoping to the updated weld on one's but just don't feel like doing that at the moment
Great job
Thank you!
Nice work bud, you ain’t lazy for sure. You earned those beers!!!

Love watching you restore stuff. Makes me want to fix all my junk
That was a well earned, "son of a biscuit"! :)

The trees didn't make it unfortunately. But at least planting them was good practice!
Great video, thanks for taking the time to make it.
Thank you!
Good job, Sir
Thank you!
Bravo, great job 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you! 😃
This was a good one!

Hii
@@Gemini_Beautify I really appreciated the cydney cameo on this one. S tier content
Until watching this, I didn't know why some skid steers had 2 hitch balls welded to the frame - it was bothering me.
Yup that's why! Old school backhoe attachments.
Nice job!!! Can you tell me the bar that you use to connect the backhoe with the skid and where did you purchase?
It’s a category 1 top link for a tractor 3 point hitch. You can get them at tractor supply. Pretty tough part for the money
What size cylinder are those and where did you get the gland packing I can’t find them anywhere, mine was 3.25” bore and 1.5” rod
SUMMER IS HERE TIME FOR A HAIR CUT....
Do the 900 series backhoes not attach to the chassis like the 700 series?

Hi, did you replace all the hydraulic hoses, what sizes hydraulic hose did you use to the cylinders 3/8" or 1/2"?
I replaced them with that came off. Off the top of my head all the cylinder hoses were 3/8"s
@@spankranchgarage Thanks, appreciate. Also thought they should be 3/8". The previous owner of the one I bought mixed all the hoses with 1/2" to the bucket, 3/8" to the boom and 1/4" to the dipper arm.
Can you do a video of the scat track. I just bought one and I'm missing the cover behind your legs. Trying to see how to make one please
I’d like to make one in the future. Great machines easy to work on. If you have any specific questions let me know

Do you have a good place to get parts. I got a book but the numbers are not crossing over
We're the hydraulic lines and controls plug in play?
Yes it has standard skid steer flat face hydro couplings
How much did you pay for it if you don’t mind me asking.
Thanks
It was 1000 delivered to my house. I have about 450 into it between hoses, seal kits, paint, labels, etc.
@@spankranchgarage
Good price and very good investment 👍
Thanks for getting back to me
How much did your hoses cost?
They werent cheap. Replacing almost every hose on the hoe was just under 500 dollars.
Sweet just need a mechanical thumb and do just about anything you want with that.
great idea, have another beer before ya get on the tractor.....🙄
That's the plan!
@@spankranchgarage and proud of it too
