Glad I came across this video. Brings back good memories. I learned to dig house footings on a 763 Bobcat with the same backhoe attachment. Ours had vertical stabilizers on the hoe attachment and also had rear stabilizers. I dug several hundred sets of footings with that little machine. With a lot of seat time, you'll get to where you can keep the boom from moving so violently.

i have that same backhoe . the swing is fast, but as you get better running it you'll learn how to feather it. been running equipment for 42 years, love a fast machine but takes practice to get smooth with it

Yeah, that learning curve is a little dangerous but I'm getting a little better now.

I have the exact same problem with the boom down stroke. Pretty sure it's the ball bearing you mentioned in your video. Exactly same symptoms. My question is....do I have to remove the entire control valve to reset the ball bearing or can I drop the cover below the valve and get to it that way? Thanks for your video and your response....appreciate it very much.

The two swing hoses have a brass orifice in the JIC hose fitting at the cylinder end. This restricts the flow and slows the swing down. Easy to lose if your not watching when you take the hose off. Bobcat part # 6592853. Mine was missing one and was extremely fast going left only.

I just bought a used backhoe attachment for my 763 and I can’t get anything to work. I hit the controls to turn on the hydraulics, then move the joystick for the backhoe and just feels like there’s not enough power barely even moves. What do you think it’s possible that I could be wrong or I’m doing wrong

After you engage the main hydraulic switch, hit the aux hydraulic button 2 times to engage the backhoe. If it still feels weak, you may have to reverse the hydraulic couplers to reverse the fluid flow

I'm sorry, but I no longer have the machine. But most of the information I found online when I was repairing it. There is a lot of info on the bobcat website. Good luck with your quest!!
