    I've been collecting and selling for over 30 years now. that pattern and vase shape size is very common..and worth a few dollars..and it is Waterford..

      EVERY Waterford piece has a waterford mark on the piece. If he can't find that mark, it's NOT Waterford.

    I have a Waterford marked vase ,decent size, in an antique mall and I can’t sell it for $24.99 even when I had 30 % off. I need to sell it on line.

      I believe Facebook marketplace would be a simple sell as long as there are affluent homes within driving distance. good luck

    According to Dr. Lori thumping it to ping does not tell you it is crystal. It looks like glass. It has I sparkle to it.

    • @richardburton-777
      @richardburton-777 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well anyone who is even the simplest collector can .."CLEARLY" see that this is W German LEAD Crystal. The weight when picked up, the cut & design, and of course a simple thing with your finger nail will confirm that average price $50 - $120 depending on where you would be buying or selling it.

    Hello I saw it and thought Waterford you probably know by now there should be a white marking towards the bottom, I see a few people agree a loop would help find the mark very quick.Happy sourcing to you...Sprite 🙋‍♀️

    When I was in Ireland probably 20 years ago, I bought a Waterford crystal vase similar in design to this. Kept it for years but I'm not much for collecting things, so I gave it to a charity shop. Definitely not saying this is the same vase because mine was larger and did not have the fluting etched at the top. But, Yeh, if it is Waterford, it should have a marking. I don't really care for clear crystal to tell the truth...

    • @teptime
      @teptime 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@oogumboogumbiatch9920 Waterford, Lalique, and other top names sometimes sell their discontinued designs to less prestigious companies. They are often of a variably comparable quality, but without the luxury brand name, they can be purchased at much lower prices. High end furniture designers are known to do this, as well.

    There is nothing special about that vase and bashing it with a piece of cutlery is just moronic. Its a uselful thing but of little value. You'd be lucky to get $20-30 for it.
