We need islamic hip-hop. They say music is haram, if they only knew what islam goes through here in the US THEY WOULD SUPPORT islamic music as a form of dawaa

I've been born and raised in Eugene, Oregon I grew up in the 1980's. We were the generation which established the masjid in Eugene. We grew up looking for Muslim role models, particularly in hip-hop. When I heard Mos Def say Bismillah al-rahman al-raheem in his albums, we loved him. When 2Pac said " yous a Muslim now.." we were proud to hear SOMEONE saying anything about Muslims or Islam.
Recently I heard your song Alhamdulilah, with the Deen Squad. This is what I've been dying to hear as a Palestinian Muslim to HEAR SOMEONE rep Islam in America in such a way, thats when I fell in love with you Akhee SIMPLY CUZ UR MY BROTHER IN ISLAM, YOU REPRESENT us Muslims here with no voice or anyone to listen to that doesn't have a harram way like main stream radio and other forms of hip-hop. No one ever in hip-hop has ever put out Islam in such a manner That makes even non Muslims say Alhamdulilah ✊🏽. I will be getting my brothers listening to you . Love that Zamzam cut, and the song "they pull me over cuz im Urban and im ridin with a turban"....that track bangs in my ride...also that Prophet Muhammad track was 🔥 w/ #JaeDeen and I sincerely connected with you on the song Time 2 Pray, about making salaah, and you said how your father would make athan every time to pray and he told you to followthe sunna thats the only way. my father too, borther, wallahee was the same way...allahuakbar Akhee, wallahee I connected with you on that and felt a deeper bond with u cuz u and I experienced similar situations living in the US. Subhanallah.

Jazzak Allahukhair khair akhee, we need to support real Muslim artists that rep Islam the way you have brother. Im looking forward to hearing more from you.
Question: Do you know if Luis Farakan of the Nation of Islam, has embraced true Islam i.e. the Sunna and Quran as taught by Rasool Allah, Muhammad (pbuh)?
Because of my research into the origin of the Nation of Islam with its own unique take on true Islamic teachings... "Elijah Muhammad argued that Fard was God incarnate, and that Fard had revealed this to him alone. Muhammad established a newspaper, The Final Call to Islam, initially referring to Fard as a prophet and later as Almighty God. He prevailed over his rivals as leader". (Gibson, A History of the Nation of Islam, pp. 28-29.)
I know you mentioned following the sunna its the only way...but what about the unique beliefs of the NoI ? Don't they naturally contradict the basic principles of Islamic teachings of the shahadah ? So I was curious because you mentioned LF and I was hoping he has been on sirrat al mustakeem instead of the original NoI teachings. Thank you for you response brother. respect 💯✊🏽
