The constructive criticism and collective brainstorming from the community gives me hope for this game. I think it's moving in the right direction.
This map is terrible and the choice of the camps is also terrible.

@@mr.leanflakes-highlights1556 I do agree that it's a pretty bad map for a lot of reasons. But Artosis is correct, the definition of a good Stormgate map needs to be figured out better so that it can be written in stone, similar to how SC2 maps are generally all the same-ish for the last few years. The formula isn't figured out, and growing pains steps need to be taken in order to write the blueprint. Once you do that, the game can be built on a better platform to stand on
@@JR-xp1yr Thats true i agree with that. Deleting all creep camps or just having 2 creep camps is still terrible. But yeah the DEVS should become more experimental.

yea normally the arcfortress beam is just total garbage. but obviously on a super tiny map with no econ then its pretty strong. not really a problem on actual maps since t2 and t3 units just obliterate it, plus the econ is so high youre risking an arcfortress against like 200 supply army
but obviously this koth event is trying to do something different map-wise to get more streamlined feedback in the low tiers of the game, etc
I think the lightly blowing wind sound is a bug. The attack animation is also non-existent. Usually there is a wet acidic sound and some purple goo crap with it. It seems liek when the bug happens and the attack animation stops, the sound bugs out at the same time, and all you're left with is a windy blow sound effect 🤣

well, this game was muuuuch more fun!
game looks a lot better from the last time I saw it but I still don't like the unit design. There isn't any cool looking unit except for the dog and the big mech with the chaingun. Everything else is the definition of 'meh'.
A single creep camp in the center is enough creeps for me lol. Love the idea to reduce the map size, the complexity of the maps turned me off the game honestly.
First time watching StormGate that the game didn't seem to be utterly boring and annoying, quite the opposite in fact, definately steps in the right direction... maybe there's still hope?

I have a huge problem with this game. As much as I want this to be a good game, I can't bear to watch it. It's just not visually pleasing. In Sc2 for ex. you dont have to play the game to enjoy watching whatever content is uploaded. Just because everything looks cool. I really dislike the art style of this game and for me visibility and watchability is the make and break of a game
As someone who never played StarCraft 2, I don't find that game any easier to follow as a spectator than StormGate. It's probably because you're just more familiar with the units.

Streamlined map design, no dumbass creep camps, remove Arcfortress = game instantly becomes x5 better
