I like the maps with more creep camps. I feel like they add another strategical layer players that don't like them simply can't wrap their minds around.
man, this smaller maps offer soo much more. The only superboring part was the creep interaction. I think that, as you said Artosis, lowering the hit points, eliminating creeps and first maps smaller would highly improve the game. I would get rid of the poor scout dog as well, but WHO AM I
I think the Impact of camps should be more significant and maybe they shouldn't provide ressources or at least less. Creeping seems boring to me, because you dont see the direct impact. For example if the speed camps would increase the speed of all your units by X, for time Y, then they would be more impactfull. It would also be more exiting to see somone go for a big push while having increased speed or damage or armor.
I think RT that you are focusing a little too much on what the creeps offer in regard to viewer entertainment. You seem to be ignoring the fact that they might add chances for players to eak out advantages with multitasking by taking risks and putting units in volunerable positions. I agree the big maps and 20 creep camps are too much though...
