Looks great! Makes me wince every time you started the bolts with an impact wrench though. Super easy way to strip out the factory threads if it doesn’t start right.
I agree, and I made sure they threaded in by hand before giving them the beans! Definitely would recommend chasing the threads of the rear inserts prior to install since they were caked up with debris. Thanks for the comment!
Looks like rust is beginning to develop on your LCA’s. Use WD-40 , a wire wheel brush and Upol anti-rust protective enamel as using the wire wheel brush may remove some of the oem finish.
Unfortunately midwest winters are brutal… I spray fluid film on everything prior to winter. However, the LCA’s are the first thing to hit any deep snow or long grass, taking off the barrier. It’s not an easy area to protect! Thank you for the idea! It’s an item on the future laundry list of things to upgrade. So I’m not worried about rust there at the moment! Thanks for the comment!
@@alexanderwesterlund1 Definitely agree that it’s not an easy area to protect! If you do a lot of off-road and don’t plan on upgrading your LCA’s ; I recommend getting R4T LCA’s skid plates. Sick rig!
@@alexanderwesterlund1 Understandable. I upgraded the headlights on mine too, hopefully it didn’t took you four hours like me lol. I’ll be in the look out for more videos.

What brand of bed liner did you use? I’ve definitely thought about that!
@@alexanderwesterlund1 I went with Rustoleum rattle can, came out great. Thinking I might do the fender flares in it.

Great Video, love the look of the TRD skid plate. And just out of curiosity what is your tire and suspension set up or is it stock size?
Stock suspension, tires are 265 70 R16.

Great video. Just purchased one for my Tacoma. Taking out the garage 😂
the impact driver you are using in the video is 1/4"?
Incredible!!
Good video -- thanks!
Nice! Looks good. What recovery or tow hook is that on passenger side?
The hook just comes factory on offroad models
I get mine tomorrow! So when I install I will use two 12's in the back and four 17's middle and front for six bolts total. Is that correct?
Yezir!
Nice! Even upgraded the headlights too? Where was the video? lol
It’s coming, lot of editing in that one. Thanks for the comment!
