    Kendrick is on his way to legendary status. Like Dre said, his music has substance. Meaning you will still listen to TPAB in 20 years. Most of the new era shit is all about being trendy. Throw away music with a 6 month shelf life.
    Drake may be a cash cow, but he will never be considered a legend on the mic. He'll be considered a great businessman with an ear for hit records and an adequate lyricist.

      Drake will be remembered for organising and changing the culture for this generation, I've always been a big fan of Kendrick, but for the longest time he's been an unnoticed giant preaching to the choir, but now he's starting to put out more accessible art so hopefully he has a lot more work to come, personally I take the vince staples ideology of not caring how much an artist gets radio plays, but still it would be nice to see other artists like j cole get their magnum opus, and I want guys like Joey Badass to have his own TPAB shot, I'd also like for ScHoolboy Q to become more lyrical and delve into more of kendrick alternative side of music for a minute, in an ideal world. He's the number 1 gangsta rapper of this gen but there's only so far that can get u.

    As for bodies of work how's Section 80, Good Kid, TPAB and Damn stack up? The last 3 are 3 of the absolute highest critically acclaimed works (check metacritic) and he's gone double platinum, platinum, has way more Grammy's as well (if that matters). Drake pales in comparison.

    Let's just be reminded that this interview with Drake was when GKMC first came out... Not defending Drake at all, but before Kendrick blew way up, Drake was a much bigger artist. Ever since GKMC, and even To Pimp A Butterfly, Kendrick has for sure surpassed Drake in all aspects.
