Thanks Donna for explaining the mitered corner so that I could understand. Sometimes other instructor make it so complicated whereas you make it look easy. The quilt is lovely.
This is actually a good example of where the demonstrator AND camera person have worked together to break down the process into stages and prepped the camera angles very carefully. It is a pleasure to watch such accurate co-ordinated team work. Thank you Donna and camera man for such professional teamwork.
I agree. I follow a lot of these types of channels and Donna (and camera guy!) are just the best. No extra, annoying chit-chat or crazy camera tricks. Just clear instructions presented in Donna's friendly, reassuring manner with nice close-ups.

Donna, the link in the description is supposed to take you to “everything you need to make this quilt.” Instead it’s linked to older quilt projects. I’d love to buy yardage of these fabrics. Thanks for another great video!
I’ve learned so much about quilting from your tutorial videos. I’m a new quilter and I’ve just completed my fifth quilt. It’s all due to you making the process not scary and totally do-able by breaking down the steps and totally explaining every step of the process. Thank you for giving me the confidence.
I really like all your videos; however, I haven't seen a new one lately. I sincerely hope you are not ill. I, and many others, looked forward to your shows. I hope to see you again soon.❤
Thank you again for a fantastic tutorial, I always seem to pick up a new hint or tip/ trick , miter corners I will definitely try again now that I’ve watched your tutorial, you explained it very simply thank you.
Love this quilt! I think it's one of my favorites from what you've done in a while. Looks complicated, but really not, and nice large pieces to work with. I love purple so I'd put a purple backing and a pale lilac for the quilting. The roses were exactly as I imagined. Excellent job once again Donna. 💕
So beautiful! Not that hard to do. I have had some panels so distorted, that it took longer to get them squared, than it did to sew them. Thank you for your very wonderful instructions. You do so much for all of us.
What a good looking quilt, very nice, love it. You did a good job of explaining how to put everything to together. I could use some of the tech on other quilts thank You.
When I first watched the video, I thought I heard you state a 1/2" seam for the strip tube unit. When I saw you sewing, I remembered you said your presser foot was 1/4". Just wondered? You are an incredible teacher. I can not wait to start sewing after watching some of the tutorials you have posted. I love this quilt but the mitered border would be a big challenge for me as a beginner. Can not wait for more tutorials. I love watching them over and over.
i have been watching you for years and have never seen you do those corners and they looked beautiful the back was great and did look good but i would have loved to have seen the top quilted in black i think that would have be beautiful but i like lots of color for my quilting but you did a great job i love the quilt
Love your tutorials, they’ve helped me so much. The things I’ve learned in the past few weeks has inspired me to make something new. It’s wonderful to find just what you need and you’re there to help.
Donna I am a first time (wannabe) quilter. I watch all your tutorial videos I can because you explain things in easy terms and give all the advice we need to get started. Thank you for all the encouragement! I truly appreciate your help. Happy New Year, Penny!
Beautiful Quilt Donna Thank you x Thank you for sharing your expertise with us throughout the year and Wishing You and your family a Joyous Christmas and a Happy Ne Year x
I think you could take old dishrags and put them together, and they would be amazing . Your color choices are impeccably right on. I thought this quilt was going to turn out something to be desired? Like always, it's stunning .Thanks for another great video !
Thanks for the miter instructions! I bought some border fabric 3 years ago and I haven't used it because making a straight border like I normally would just would not have done justice to the fabric. It would have looked "off". Can't WAIT to try this and finally get that quilt done 😊
i have nothing new to add to what has already been stated!!!!! this quilt is breathtaking!!!! Thank you Donna for sharing another beautiful quilt tutorial with us. God's Blessings. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Oh boy. I have always avoided on-point quilts because they intimidate me. I got excited watching you make this luscious quilt and I feel like this might be the best quilt to start with on-point. Thank you for all you do Donna. Have a blessed holiday season.😊❤
Bravo Bravo Bravo, Donna. You have created a symphony of color. You are the Maestro. Absolutely beyond beautiful. Pansies remind me of my Mother, garden flowers remind me of my Grandmothers and roses were my soulmate's favorite. Stunning, heart felt. You are ready for Radio City or the Metropolitan Opera. Bravo 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
I’m missing your tutorials. I pray all is well with you and family.

I wish I had a never ending bobbin lol, I think that’s the only thing that slows down projects.

Merry Christmas Jordan's. Thank you for the great videos.
Gosh, I do like this fabric line! And a “no fuss” miter corner? Donna, you explain processes so well.❤❤

I love on-point. You could make a small quilt with simple 4-squares and alternate them with solid color blocks. Try it, it will work.
