Donna, I hope you know that all this outpouring of appreciation in all the comments from week to week is so sincere. What you do for the quilting world is wonderful. You explain step-by-step. You share the thought processes that go into each decision for each quilt. We can depend on the videographer to get the details we need to see how to make each quilt you are showing. I was just beginning as a quilter when I found your tutorials. I have watched every one of them, many of them more than once. You are so generous with your company. I have purchased patterns and fabric from you and I hope people are supporting your company so that it can continue to be very active. I recently encouraged a younger friend to start quilting as an outlet for her creativity. Your tutorials were the ones I recommended her to begin to watch. Her first quilt, fruitcake, is lovely. Thank you so much for all you do. God bless you and your very fine company. Beth
Thank you for your kind words - we read all the comments and are genuinely very happy to be able to share our passion for quilting with so many people.
I agree 💯 as an experienced quilter for 40 years. I still learn something new from Donna frequently. I love the pieced borders and especially Donna's calm and detailed instructions. I too, have purchased both fabric and patterns from this shop. They are always quick to ship and have great sales Fabric at this shop is reasonably priced even at the regular price. I have yet to try the precut log cabin packages however, that is on my bucket list. Just waiting for the right fabric combination Thank you Jordan Fabrics for providing these great videos and the thoughtful work from all of you!❤❤❤❤
You have a special knack for choosing such great fabrics. I love your tutorials and when you show off your talents as a quilt designer. Thanks for sharing.
Oh I love this pattern! Also the colors, prints, the bubble quilting, the border s and the backing, too. 😅It's so easy, but has so much movement. Just beautiful. ❤ Thank you Donna and Jordan Fabrics Crew! 😊
Donna has become part of my morning ritual when I'm enjoying my second cup of tea for the day. Just love watching her videos. She makes everything look so easy & relaxing. So inspiring. Thank you Donna.
With the number of tutorials you’ve released since Christmas I don’t think we need to ask what you did over the holiday season Donna. Not that I’m complaining!
You have such an awesome collection of quilting fabrics. So way ahead of what is available here in South Africa! Thanks for all your inspirational videos!!
I LOVE your tutorials! This is one of my favorite quilts of all times…probably because aqua is my favorite color! This is such a neat pattern, too! Thank you, Donna! That border adds a special touch, too!
Lovely Donna, Lovely! So fresh and modern. I have watched you, from when I was being an absolute beginner, about five or six years ago. I had no clue how to make a quilt. I had been incapacitated and so I watched from my bed for about three years. When I switched to your channel it wasn't long before it all made sense to me. As I watched and listened to how beautifully you explained things, so naturally, so gently, I grasped the meaning of it all. Now I have made quilts for most of my family. I had to slow down after I finished about 30 items. I didn't think I was going to be able to send many more through the post as it has become very expensive, and most of my family are living abroad. However, the ones that received a quilt were so happy. So am I, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love the way you and your son have made the videos, and I love it when Matt makes an appearance. He is so cheerful, he makes me smile and Oh boy. I wish I could cut like him.
Aside from the very informative tutorials, I wanted o thank you for going into the thought process for choosing a thread color for the quilting. I always hesitate when I come to that stage and your comments have been a real treasure chest of ideas
Donna, I always love your your tutorials and so does my husband ( infact he reminds me when there is a new one on youtube) but my favorites are your own pattern because they have less waste. I'm not a favorite of fabric waste.
You could always cut the same number of squares as the pattern calls for, but instead of 8” squares, cut 6” squares. That might be a more manageable size (I haven’t looked at the pattern yet, but her borders together I see finish at 9” wide, and the HST’s you make from 6” squares will finish at around 4.5” in the quilt, so I hope that lets you calculate the quilt size made with smaller HSTs to see if that’s what you prefer. Good luck!
i never saw the first showing of making this pattern, but im glad i caught the 2nd showing......THANK YOU for doing it again.......might try my hand at making it too....
Love this new take on the pattern! I appreciate the way you show and instruct how to make the quilts. You have helped me significantly to get back into quilting now that I'm retired. Thank you
What a great idea for making a beautiful quilt out of yardage in your stash where 3 darks and 3 lights co-ordinate. The size you can also adapt . Thank you I have a selection of teal prints that I was wanting to make a charity quilt from and now you have answered for me. Thanks as always for your work.
Dear Donna, This quilt is absolutely wonderful, especially the color choices. I love turquoise and yellow. You really outdid yourself with this quilt. Excellent !!
I always learn something new from watching your videos. The tip about keeping the striped design facing the same direction when penciling the diagonal lines was helpful. I'm very new to sewing - despite years of watching your videos. I'm in the process of making a quilted dog mat (small learning project) .. using scraps and one of the fabrics is striped. Scared to start cutting the fabric and messing everything up, lol.
WOW!!! Just WOW! This quilt is absolutely beautiful! I especially love the pieced borders. You have such wonderful and different ideas for borders and the backs, and I love all of them!
Just love this quilt and the colours. Donna your choice of colours has given me such confidence as i was always a bit timid re colour choices. Thanks for a great tutorial. 🌻
Beautiful quilt Donna and those colors are beautiful. I love how this pattern starts with just half square triangles but with piecing creates the beautiful pattern! ❤😊
I love the Abundance pattern. This version is great. I LOVE the fabrics. I made an Abundance using fat quarters instead of 1/2 yd cuts. It measures 60x72. I cut 7 inch squares instead of 8 inch. I used the leftover fabric from the fat quarters as a pieced binding. It turned out fantastic. Perfect for curing up on the couch to take a nap or watch a movie. Using the extra fabric in a pieced boarder to make it bigger is a great option. I love your videos and am excited when ever you post a new one.
What a great pattern for a beginner! It’s easy to cut and sew and would finish up quickly. It would be fun to see different color ways in this pattern as well. And I could see starting with smaller block sizes to make a crib quilt. The bubble quilt pattern really suits this fabric.
Thank you Donna. Beautiful! I have been looking for a pattern design for larger blocks to show off some of my favorite colors or prints. I have a stash of "Oh too pretty to cut up fabric." 😊 You always give us the best tutorials❤
When I see you cutting so straight with those scissors I laugh and remember when I was young sewing with my mom and she would get so aggravated at me because I couldn’t cut a straight line no matter what I used. I always tried to blame it on the scissors you’re so good at it.
WOW!!! This was my first video I've watched!! Really, REALLY, well done. I was mesmerized the entire time. You are very good at explaining. I want it, OH DEAR! I want it all. Haha. So glad I've subscribed and will tell my friends. Hugs, Heidi
I love this quilt and the fabric you chose to make it. And the borders are so great , they give something special to the quilt. Very, very nice . Have a nice day.
That turned out beautiful, love your material choice, I would never have thought to use those six together, but they really do work. The border was a great choice also, simple, but made such a statement. Thank you!
I like it when Donna revisits an old free pattern.
Me too ❤🎉
And another Me too😊
I miss the weekly uploads.

I never understood this process. Finally. Light came on. Great demo on explaining this. Thanks Donna. Love your nail color. Matches quilt. 😉
the fabric colours and patterns are stunning together! It takes a simple quilt pattern and makes it look complex!
Donna, you are the master of decorative borders! Outstanding.
Gorgeous fabrics! I’m entranced already, less than 2 minutes in. ❤

This pattern looks easy enough. It's choosing the colors that will be difficult. You do have a great eye for color combinations.
I love watching your longarm machine do its thing! The bubble pattern is so beautiful on this quilt.
Love your blue nails, Donna! Great pattern! Big blocks are a plus!
Beautiful colours and design. The giveaway is gorgeous too.
