The date on the video changes, but it’s content, and beautiful quilt, never ages. It’s so beautiful! I so enjoy Jenny Doan, & the MSQC. So fun. Happy sewing!
Jenny...and MSQC....I don't think I've EVER made a comment that was negative! I've followed you for almost 10 yrs....and love everything MSQC designs! I'll admit I'm not crazy about the gold.....but who knows? Probably within 2-3 days I'll learn to love it!
My wife and I watched this video last night while going through the playlist, and we are absolutely mind blown by the iron that lifts itself off the table.
Debbie Harris, I'm not sure I understand how you meant, your Grandmother would use extra star to enlarge it. Maybe by using each quartrant in corners? Would love to see it if you made one.
G'day Jenny, thanks for the tutorial. I'm definitely going to make it. I will use the last star to make matching pillow cases (half a star on each) Praying for you and your loved ones.
Jennie, you are the best. I just figured out how to leave a message. So 1000 "you're greats" and 1000 " I love this" for all the ones I didn't get to comment on!! I started quilting about the same time you started doing tutorials so I can honestly say "I've learned everything I know from you." Thank you. ❤
Great tutorial; and what a transformation from the blue/gold to Christmas! When I saw the Christmas table topper, I immediately thought “tree skirt”! It’s all fun!!
It is so beautiful ,my grand daughter asked me to make her a quilt with Stars, just what I need thank you. I will have to watch it again to make sure I understand but you are all magicians in your group
Praying for you Mrs. Jenny. Beautiful Quilt. Thank to you and your disappearing star and a new quilt store in my tiny little city somewhere in Texas that I took my first quilt class and now I can stop. Best hobby and I got a few. God bless you and your team. Be safe
I love this! I had been trying to figure out how to make a block like this to imitate an Air Force chevron for my father’s 87th birthday. He is a retired Chief Master Sergeant and is so proud to have served! This worked perfectly! I cannot thank you enough!
Every Friday I look so forward to your tutorials you and your family are awesome thx you my kids would like the stars it looks like university of Michigan colors that we love GO BLUE!!!
Just read about Jenny's arm. Bungee jumping in Brazil, motorcycle racing. How about skydiving over the Grand Canyon (lol). Love you Jenny. Say safe and healthy.
Very cool, especially for a young guy. I might make the central diamonds in light blue and leave the outer sections gold. I made your Binding Tool Star quilt back in 2015 and it's one of my favorites. Thanks for the pattern.
You are so ingenious! You are so industrious and a busy bee as you go through all of the strips. You are so funny that way and an absolute joy to watch! Contentment is there in those that do what they were meant to do! Thank you Jesus that someone out there gets this quilting thing and what it really means to us! I don't know why I have to sew every day but it was how I was made! I will be glad and rejoice in it!
I said "this quilt looks too complicated and time consuming" until I watched the tutorial. Once again, Jenny outdid herself! And to use that beautiful blue fabric from Laundry Basket Quilts was perfect. Nobody does blue better!
What an excellent idea using the binding tool. I can take mine out the draw and now use it. The Christmas version is stunning with the 3 strip borders. WOW. I do not know how you can come up with so many different patterns weekly. We are all truly grateful. Keep them coming and stay safe
Can’t wait to try this! At first it looks like the table runner pattern then you added the triangles to square it. I’m so excited to try this quilt pattern!!!
Jenny, I truly appreciate all the tutorials you and your team provide for us. I am making the small table Starstruck top out of some left over Holiday Flourish Jelly Roll. This pattern is just perfect for me since I am still a beginner at quilting. Thank you so much.
At first, I thought it is conplicate and gave it up to your "Tulip".After fi ishi g it I came back and read this. Amazing! How simple,,quick and beautiful. Thanks

I love stars especially when they are huge. Love it in Christmas fabric too !😊
Very cool. I love the stars. You should use that binding tool in your next 3 for 1 video and see what different things you 3 ladies can make there are some many possibles.
It’s so hard for me when I dislike a colour so intensely - the gold. I knew I loved the design of the quilt, though, and I’m glad I saw the Christmas alternative at the end! Beautiful work, Jenny!💕
AWWWESOME! Just ordered the Christmas jelly roll strips and looking forward to this project. Thanks, Ms. Jenny for your expertise. Blessings to you, always.
I love how your patterns look like they took so much work but are easily done! Agree with Retha, this would look awesome in autumn or Christmas fabrics. And those stars are stunning!
I love this project! The fabrics in that jelly roll are beautiful, and that colored background is the best. So many times we just think of white for backgrounds and anytime I see a solid color background I love it! Of course white would not have worked with this jelly roll since there's so much white in it already, but WOW that gold just pops!
Gorgeous! I love them! Blue and gold were my high school colors (many years ago!), so I've always had a special place in my heart for that combination.
This is a perfect pattern for a Quilt of Valor! I have been looking for a pattern to use for a hometown friend, and I have just found it. Thanks so much for all you do for the quilting world. I was lucky enough several years ago to make a pilgrimage to Hamilton and would love to come back once we are through this pandemic. Thanks again for a perfect QOV pattern.
Hi Jenny, This is a beautiful project. I’ve added it into my projects list. I am also a lefty, watching you helps me as so many things are done right handed. Take care.
Love this, Jenny!! That rich colour you used as a background just gave me an "A-ha!" moment for a jelly roll I've had in my stash for years... it has quite a few "lights", and the darkest fabric is more medium than dark. If I use a dark solid or near-solid for the background like you did, I think my quilt will look stunning too! And love having a new use for an existing tool in my arsenal. Thanks for your fantastic tutorials (& I hope your arm heals up well and the strength returns to 100%. I watched your "Triple Play" with Natalie and Misty last week, so I know what you went through. God bless you!). ~Diana K.
Absolutely love this one, Jenny! I have the binding tool which I bought to make the Binding Tool Star Quilt from a few years ago. Well, I was very new to quilting and the directions didn't make sense to me, so I set it aside. Flash forward a few years, and now I completely understand what's going on! Thank you so much as always, Jenny, for making quilting fun. PS: It was your tutorials that got me started!
I’ve been loving this pattern and also the ‘sticks and stones’ pattern also. I also bought more than one jelly roll of the same fabric. With the leftover fabric in this pattern it may be utilized to supliment the piano key border in the S&S pattern. Now, I am really excited about something I’d already been excited about!
I love Edita Sitar. This would make a lovely Christmas/holiday quilt to sit on a couch or a guest bed. You could even make one block for a wall hanging.I own the binding tool and it's great to have new projects to use it on. I guess I commented too soon lol.
Jenny , I'm in love with these huge star quilts and the Christmas one would be great for my table ! I'm going to have to get an order from your store !! Thank you for showing me how to make these Amazing quilts !!❤😍
Oh, oh, oh, I see a Christmas tree skirt out of the "left overs" from the Christmas fabric!!! Just cut up one side, cut a circle in the middle and bind!! I think I have a roll of Christmas strips left from last year. I'm going to make it NOW! Yep, Christmas in July!❤
Hi Jenny looks like you have had a fall! You are very brave making us a video even though you are not 100% well. Thinking of you and praying for your return to full fitness.
JENNY YOUR EXCITEMENT OVER THE CHRISTMAS QUILT!!! Love, love, love it! I have seen a beautiful nativity jelly roll that I think will be perfect for a Christmas quilt out of this pattern....now to remember where I saw it! My binding tool arrives in the next few weeks. This is definitely on my "to do soon" list. Oh my how that list is growing! Thanks Jenny & MSQC for all the beautiful, helpful tutorials. Great idea!
