Top cheater. The only thing he's educating you on us how to Smurf abd manipulate ratings. He's teaching you that's more important than a competitive match and that chess is not a respectable sport. Just another Esport full of immature Anonymous cheaters that deserves no major sponsorships. Hopefully this guy just got out of rehab.
You are role model in chess and character. I am a nurse, yet I aspire to share my knowledge and passion with the same humility and integrity you show. Through a challenging two years, your channel has been a bright spot in my life as I’ve taken up chess. I bought your book to show my support wanted to sent a message in hopes you see it and know how appreciated you are.
Missed ya Danya! Thanks so much for doing these videos and all the effort you put into sharing your knowledge with us. Your passion for both chess and teaching always shines so bright.
I never comment, but I wanted to tell you that I'm so happy to see you back. Regardless of number of views and subscribers, you remain the highest quality chess teaching medium in the world. Let other popular guys keep creating clickbite'y mediocre entertainment bullsh*t for masses, I only go there for guess the elo anyway. Your stuff I watched several times and it made me much better player. Keep at it, we'll always stand behind you!
I came here to write this exact comment. Danya, don't be too hard on yourself, either from a chess playing or chess content creating point of view. Your videos are without a doubt the most instructive on the internet. I'm so glad you're back from your break and I hope you're doing better.
Would be really cool to see you play a small rapid match with another high rated player. Ben finegold and Eric rozen did it recently and it was very entertaining. Thanks for the informative content, i cant say I'm improving tons (i dont play too too much), but i love throwing it on the tv with some snacks and watching good chess
I'm so happy to see another speedrun video and hope you start another speedrun from scratch. I've been working my way through all your previous speedrun series. Not only have I learned a ton about how to approach chess in general, but these speedruns have given me the confidence to adopt a 1.e4 repertoire after a lifetime (50+ yrs) of playing 1.d4, anchored by the Four Knights Scotch and Alapin Sicilian. That repertoire change in itself has given me incredible new insights into chess at a fundamental level. So thanks for all that!
Man I must tell, these speedruns just changed the perspective I used to look at some chess positions while I was lower rated, and they certainly helped me win some tournaments! Thanks Sensai🛐
Dayna, I went from 1350 to 1610 with master class playlist. I dont know if you know how you contribute to players and in so many levels but we really appreciate you. Take care of yourself, we are on our way to 500k🎉🎉
I hope the speedruns continue. These games are just about the most informative out there. Particularly in the middle to upper middle levels. I would like to see your opening recommendations for beginners to mid level players. How many moves in reasonably should you learn? Tying in an openings class to actual games would be outstanding.
One of the best chess teacher, no matter the views and subs.. the immaculate quality of your content is something everyone who knows you praise you for. I hope you can see every "thank you" comment as a human being grateful for the effort you make. We will always be supposed Danya, keep it going 🔥
Your videos took me from fuckin 220 to 1000 lol. Nothing crazy but thanks for SO much high quality content. Best chess content out there. An absolute gem of a channel
Danya you have done leaps and bounds for my chess, only started in june and was struggling to climb out of the chaos that is 1000 Elo chess, now that ive reached 1500 ive been looking for something that could improve my attacking game which i found to be my biggest weakness, and your calm and collected explanations along with your aggressive style has been one of my best teachers. Thank you.
Daniel, I really love learning from you. One request/idea: I wanted to see a speedrun where you play bullet/hyperbullet in silence and then you review as you usually do and explain what happened in your thoughts during the most important parts of the game. It would be an interesting way to tap into your deep/subconscious thinking. It would also be interesting to analyze the moves you missed because the decision had to be too fast, and even you might even learn a new bit or two with this experience :). Great job, overall!
Quality game by the opponent here also. We often overlooked it takes two quality players to make these really interesting. Also refreshing to see an opponent playing without engine assistance. LOL
Daniel, you’re a legend! Thank you for the amazing content as always. I haven’t commented on a TH-cam video in a long time, but wanted to let you know that you are very much appreciated!
I only play 5 minute chess these days so I'm looking forward to this. The approach you're taking of discussing general instincts instead of just specifics is perfect.
It's crazy how these 600s reacts to players above 1800 made a blunder 😂. Even GMs are still humans too, and it's not like they are went full GM mode in these type of content, like Danya did.
Great LPDO examples at 43:00. LPDO = Loose (unprotected) pieces drop off. Note those loose pieces ( I like to call them hangers), and especially look for tactics with them!
I've watched you for almost two years now and I just wanted to send some support. JB and you are the best chess teachers that I know, your content is of extreme quality. Thanks for all your hard work and passion, you are an example for all of us, we love you, Danya ❤
You really bring back my love for chess that I had as a kid, I suddenly feel 40 years younger again hahaha! Your logical thinking and crystal clear explanation is so motivating, thank you Daniel!!!
Awesome game! Great to see you in contemplation mode! And to see which moves you're thinking of! Also the strategy during the game (things outside of the board) was very interesting!
I enjoy your chess content because I like the attitude you bring to teaching. It's stupid that there are some people who do not see this at all and disrespect you and your time by trying to stream-snipe or cheat (or both). Just keep doing this, or not doing it, at the pace you prefer. This viewer'll watch and enjoy it as long as you enjoy doing this too. No fun watching someone grit their teeth through something.
Yesssss, welcome back! I hope the time off did you well and that you are feeling fresh and re-energized. Glad you allowed yourself some time off, but even more glad you made your return! Have been watching your previous speed run games every night for the last 3 weeks, and it helped me improve my chess a lot (1500 -> 1620).
@@Drang_GeiBut some of the resources found were not even mentioned by Danya this game, it was a good resilient defence however he initiated the trades incorrectly in the middlegame which made his position worse.
Title should be changed to delayed alapin. So if someone looking to search videos on the alapin he wouldn’t be confused with this and the other way around. Also great instructional vid 😊
Fascinating, I'm learning tons, thank you! (By the way, I like endgames and wouldn't find it boring to watch. But perhaps for a calm player like myself, it's especially useful to study playing with the queens on the board :))
I’d love to see more Alapin games from the white perspective, as i’ve implemented it to my repertoire after your speed run videos. It’s a great opening and throws of 1800s easily a lot of the time.
It would be great to see you play a repertoire you are not that familiar with - offbeat openings like the Dutch. It was fun watching you uncover more and more about the Smith Morra as you went on
This is some of the best chess content on the internet.
This is THE BEST chess content on the internet 😂

Missed ya Danya! Thanks so much for doing these videos and all the effort you put into sharing your knowledge with us. Your passion for both chess and teaching always shines so bright.
Some of the most exciting speed run games have come from complex endgames. They are not boring at all.

You were too hard on yourself for missing g4. The comments asking how you can miss that move as a GM must think you're some kind of inhuman being
Some people try every opportunity to hurt others.
I always think I've learned a lot after these videos, then I go and get scholars m😅ated
Probably younger kids who think Danya is somehow perfect and GMs don't blunder

When you restart the speedrun, would you consider doing the next one with 1.d4?
I think he should mix up the openings like before tbh, it caters to everyone and we get to see a variety of positions
No thanks
Yes! Jobava London for white and Caro Cann for black!
that sounds great, i just hope it doesn’t become a Jobava London speed run.

I wonder who the opponent was cuz the tension in this game was insane.
he was in the stream so he might not have muted it, thats my guess
