@@randomladdoingsomething oh hi, yeah I haven’t played gbg for a while now and for some reason there is always something that seems to go wrong in the creating of a level and I get frustrated - but I have found a really good Mario character I can use so that will help, I’m also a massive crash bandicoot fan so in the ps game dreams I plan to make my own 3d platformer starring my edited character Donny dingo I have written down level names and ideas and hopefully soon I will make the first few levels playable to the community

instead of using the destroyed nodon, why not put one object break nodon to signal each time a box is broken? that way you have one sfx and break detector for ALL the coins. (make it a different type of object connected to the rotation object if you're using a box for something else)
See I knew there was probably a better way to conserve even more nodons. Thank you for pointing this out, may need to do a version two of this tutorial, thank you!

Could you do a tutorial on how to grab an object without the hand nodon? I want to make it so i can pick up a box and throw it at an enemy
Yes yes, I have been developing a analog based hand so you can move the hand without the gyroscope or the hand nodon itself!
How I would improve it is to make the rotating box yellow so when you break it it then you see yellow boxes and I would turn off play sound when destroyed in the rotating box so it’s just the coin collect sound.
1 thing: How do I copy and paste without the mouse?
Double tap and hold on second tap, you can then drag and draw a box. Takes a little getting used to but super handy.

@@randombird390 ZL+ ZR and select the whole area you want select and copy/paste it
I really like that yellow box idea. Yeah its lame it even shows the block breaking, but this will look way more aesthetically pleasing for sure!

How do you select a group of nodons to copy/paste? I use TV mode. My cursor is a crosshair, not a pointer like yours.
I have a mouse plugged into my dock. Click and drag onto a blank space (similar to a computer drag function), and cover the box with the nodons you want. Then on the very bottom of that box will be a blue options box which you can select copy. Hopefully this helps!
If you hold zr and a and then drag your cursor across the area they should all get selected

i think i might understand how to do the hand nodon, but how do you make it so that you can only grab from a certain amount of distance and use one of the sticks (if possible) to move the hand

Ne need for counter personally and balloons is better for doing coins
Hm I haven't tried balloons I'll look into it. I found that the coins didn't work without the counter because they would just stay in the same position.
@@Oribloop Oh? For me it work just fine (I also follow your RPG Tutorial, just with more ideas but with less draw skill and without a mouse for the Switch ^^ )
@@Adrien1903 well then if it works that way is definitely superior cause this uses too much nodons lol. Ah yes my RPG tutorial, I have a lot of features coming out with it in newer episodes like a shop mechanic, bosses, coins counter, etc. Also if you have a regular switch you can connect it to the dock and plug in mouse, but if you have switch lite you're pretty much outta luck unless you have a usb c to usb adapter.
@@Oribloop I tried to plug my mouse to the switch but it didn't work, also looking forward for the shop mechanic ! (PS : for the UI I found for usefull to put all at the top of the screen)
@@Adrien1903 Weird try connecting a different mouse and use different usb ports on the dock. Also, yes yes I'm very excited for the shop too! That tutorial will be coming soon! Depending on the project UI can look good either way, but I think it looks really sleek also on top. :)

How do you activate something with a touch sensor for example if I touch an invisible block or go in a certain area the sensor will destroy a block and I could go in an area

is it possible to make a person character crouch done like in most mario games?
Maybe if you pushed a box down on the character because I was playing around with the nodon and make the box invisble? Im not sure lol

Yes this is possible but you would have to only have one screen. So both players would have to share the screen. So fighting games and other stuff with one screen will work, sadly split doesn't work at all in this game.
No need for destroyed sensor I will only share with oribloop edit sorry others it is complicated and you can find it out hint tag showdown has it

He forgot to make it so it’s only Z center the one for the coin
You could make a game with like a lot of copies and it has what you always do at the start of the video make a third person character and that's what you start every video by unless you don't want a third person camera
Yeahh I was considering that, but I know I'll have new GBG players watch the tutorial and go like "what the.... what did he do with that person". But probably after multiple tutorials I will consider doing that. Thank you for watching out for me Zach!
