Thanks for posting! 2 buddies and I took a Rock & Roll Road Trip from central Texas, to St Louis, in October 2023 to see these guys for the first time. They put on a great show with all of the old classic tunes. It was a bucket list item for us.
Randy Bachman doesn't try to be someone he isn't. Some impostors touring as The Guess Who and taking folks money should be ashamed. No lip synching either. Kudos to you Randy, and thanks to you and Tal for your show on The Beatles channel.
@RichardJCaudle taught him most if the rhythm guitar parts to you ain't seen nothing yet and taken care of business, at the norwood hotel parking lot while he was on a smoke break, 52 years ago
good video-still good songs-who are all these people-randy bachman is one of them-aint seen nothing still great tune-good guitar parts-had some bto records before
That's the point. It's great to see legends like this at least another time. Lot's of rockers never make it to 80. Randy has overcome a lot of health issues. He inspires me to keep going as I age.
@@RichardJCaudle not only that, what really galls me about Randy Bachman is that he is charging over inflated prices for a Bachman - Turner Overdrive tour this year with no original members except him.. Especially no Fred Turner LOL i call this a scam, just like i do with Lynyrd Skynyrd and all the other legacy "brands" that do this kind of thing.
@@carlosdanger6129 I agree. The prices tend to be outrageous for so many of these legacy bands, some with only one original member. I guess it's supply and demand. If people wouldn't go, they would have to lower prices. If they don't charge enough, scalpers scoop them up and you still get high prices. This cruise was great because although you pay a little more than a normal Celebrity cruise, all of these acts were included. I often got first or second row, by standing in line for an hour and a half hour wait after seating. I'm not going to pay $250 + to see some of these acts. An exception is that I am going to see Burton Cummings in September. To me, he always WAS the show for The Guess Who and he'll have good musicians with him. Plus, a good solo hit, "Stand Tall." A very unique voice that nobody can emulate. I'm still thinking about the Stones concert. It would be thousands of dollars from Stub Hub for close seating and I probably won't. Saw them years ago. Could be their last tour.
@@RichardJCaudleIf you want to see some high ticket prices check out the ones for Jeff Lynne’s ELO tour upcoming. We got some good seats, but no way I’d shell out $1600 per seat to be front row or close to it. So many people are involved as far as the process of putting a concert on their fees all add up to being ridiculous. The artist, venue, travel, lodging, ticket sellers (not to mention scalpers), etc, etc. BUT, that’s the price to see some legends while they’re still out doing it.
Why are they sitting? Ever play a 10 pound guitar for 1-2 hours pulling on you neck, back shoulder, and arms? You have no idea how hard that is. These musicians are in in their 70's and 80's. Give them a break. They are certainly Rocking it out and not in a Rocking Chair. Just saying!!! Go Bachman and his friends
Randy has struggled with all kinds of health issues including morbid obesity and other things. It didn't surprise me he was sitting. He's 80 years old! And planning a reunion with Burton Cummings, which would be awesome. It's just wonderful to see these legends at least another time. I would love to see the Stones one more time, but those ticket prices... yikes! Any seat up as close as I was for this show would cost thousands, probably over $10K on the after market. I remember seeing David Crosby with Nash and Young after Crosby's liver transplant. He was sitting, of course, and that was just fine. Voice sounded great.

Saw Randy and Burton Cumming play together in a smaller venue in Wisconsin in the mid 80,s . Was one of the best shows I have seen!
Same for me back in the late 80s. Randy hinted that Burton may be joining him for a Guess Who reunion.
still rocking-still sound good-keep going-said i was old at 30 so i was never young either-great to find this
Met Randy at the Ranch Bowl in Omaha mid 80s. I introduced them on the bowling alley stage. He said just saw BTO
That was so flippin groovy !! Really enjoyed it. Ahhhhh...memories !!
i would love to be there - they sound great

Love BTO!
Legendary band.
Classics 🔥
Sign of the times when all the old rockers are sitting down when they play but hey... I'm a 75 year old rocker too😂😂😂
❤❤❤
Taking Care of Business...annual royalties... $100,000 on that song alone. Thanks Randy!
Great time! Love the raccoon hat.
Wow, I didn’t recognize Burton Cummings playing bass, did you? Great job too!!!
I don't think that was him. Looks nothing like him. If it was him, don't you think he would be singing lead on the original guess who songs?
What cruise line? This would have been awesome.
It's Celebrity (Summit) but chartered by StarVista.
Does Fred ever join Randy on stage anymore or is he retired from touring?
Wish i got credit for the bto songs i showed randy
Sounds like you have some interesting stories.

Because they’re old man
Burton Wrote all The Guess Who Stuff
Some of it. Not all. Many were collaborations. Randy Bachman wrote some of the biggest hits.
@@johnsummerhill8323 Yes...correct
Randy was struggling with his voice.
Way past expiration date..

Same reason all the Greats sit---Johnny Winter, BB King, Leon Russell--they all sat. Earned Greatness

This is how you do it.
