    The ECOVACS DEEBOT T20 OMNI is a robot mop combo that is fantatsic to use. Across the majority of our tests the T20 showcased exceptional results. It removed, 97.3% of all debris across all floor types and the auto-adjusting mop pads cleaned up a healthy amount of dirt and debris. While long hair performance struggled, having 67% of the strands tangle in the brush roll, pet hair performance was solid with 84% of the pet hair removed.
    Thanks to improvements made to the sensors, object recognition, and map creation, the T20 OMNI navigated well. It never got stuck, avoided most objects completely, and returned to base every time. The overall build quality is excellent and usability is incredible thanks to a robust docking station. It automatically empties the robot’s dust bin, washes the mop pads with hot water, dries the mop pads, and refills the water supply. All in all, it has a high asking price, but the performance and usability features cannot be understated.

      What about upper floors. Tech support say it won't work without base station . I find the voice control poor as well.

      @@user-ok5qn9gw5v The robot will work on multiple floors. Not sure why tech support would say that.

    your comment about maintenance is one I wish we'd see more of in mop/combo reviews. The Q Revo seems to be the way forwards for this IMO - occasionally pulling out a simple tray for a rinse in the sink vs scrubbing on your hands and knees which is what these things are supposed to stop us having to do :)

      Indeed - the removable tray feels like the best option by far. I hope we see more of that in future robot development.

    your test bed need taller wall... the lidar is not hitting them and that's causing the "strange" behaviour. the robots think they have more floor to cover, but they hit the wall with the bupper, giving it miss signals.

    Great test! Will you have X2 Omni test results anytime soon? Thanks

      Very soon. We finished testing last week. We're working on the contextual draft now and then we'll have it in our video production queue.

    how does this compare against roborock revo and S8 ultra?

    • @ModernCastle
      @ModernCastle  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Better than Revo
      Slightly worse than S8 Ultra
      All 3 are fantastic in the grand scheme though. Hard to go wrong with any of them.

    Great review. I have one but using it on upper floors away from base station is impossible

    Your enclosed testing area walls are too low, so liadars can t see it! U need to lift up the walls and redo all the tests to date!

    • @ModernCastle
      @ModernCastle  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We have a mountain of LIDAR mapping data that says otherwise.
      The vast majority of LIDAR mapping robots 100% can see that it's in an enclosed boxed, as evidence by the box it builds for itself on the map during test.

      @@ModernCastle u should atleast try putting one more plank next to one wall to test the hypothesis, if it is gonna act diferently
