i have been neglecting to open these videos because i assumed they were just crock pot tutorials, and i know them all by heart. popped this one open to have in the background. i cannot describe the sound i made when i glanced over and realized the footage had shifted to irl. this is the kind of content the dst community needs, bravo vince

The most iconic dish covered.. again! Really loving this series of yours, probably one of the most unique Don't Starve series on the entirety of youtube, informative and pretty funny with the taste tests and reactions.. Always looking forward to the next one! Also seen a comment mentioning how these videos might look skippable, maybe mentioning at the beginning both how you'll be doing a rundown of the dish ingame then cooking it irl could help? Can't wait for episodes on some of the more interesting dishes like barnacle foods or maybe Warly's mussel soup.. 😅
Mix the meat with youre bananas, carrots and berrys. I would change out the banana for potato to make it a bit more healthy. And then heating it in a pan.
You actually accidentally stumbled on a use for underripe bananas in other cuisines. And I do mean bananas, not Plantains. in places where Bananas grow better than potatoes, they are used as the starch component of dishes, where you can mash it down and use it as a potato substitute. them and carrots naturally have a bit of starch and the carrots also have fibre to help bind it together. If you want to try to make it "legit", you could use the berries for the sauce, as many eastern european meatballs are paired with a fruit jam sauce. The only real extra ingredients you'd need is maybe water and salt (the blueberries would have more than enough internal sugar to boil down to a sauce in just water).
I have a couple of critiques towards your way of cooking them - first there should logically be 4 meatballs on the plate plus dividing the beef on 4 will make them cook more evenly; second problem is that they are made in cookpot which implies boiling i guess?
